I do not think a Nigerian that will 'say this is just the beginning' is living or know what is happening in Nigeria.

What I do not like about Tinubu time is how naira increase in value but local products remain expensive or becoming more expensive. The government manipulated naira price. There is still inflation in Nigeria as naira increase in value. But world bank said there will be decrease in food price before 2024 is over.

What we need is a stable economy.

I believe you mean that the naira decreased inn value.
And yes, I used to to believe that the price movement of the US dollars was what influenced the price of things in the country. We all witnessed the rapid appreciation of the US dollars to the Nigerian naira a few months back and how the price of things followed it as it accelerated.

But I keep asking, isn't the price of things also supposed to drop, followed the recent crashing down of the dollar to the naira? Like I really don't get it, these people are just breaking certain economic protocols and it just baffles me and compel me to raise the question Will Nigeria ever have a stable economy once more? Will the price of things ever go back or even close to what it used to be?

Prices are hiking everyday in the country, but yet, it still haven't even occured to the government to at least increase the country's minimum wage to at least give the citizens a fighting chance with all that's going on. Indeed it's frustrating.

Na the major problem of our country naija be that, their regret is not about the economic situation in the country, but their regret is the political agreement they have before now with him, which might have been breached, instead of them to dey vex for how price of goods and services dey skyrocket everyday, Dem dey vex for their selfish interest wey him no wan fullfil,  can you imagine the high level of greed and audacity wey dey in our political system, na only God go help us for this country.

Lastly, if Dem fit put our local refinary in order, and all of them start operations, I believe say our local products no go too cost again, because aside dollar, wetin dey really affect the price of goods and services for the country na this subsidy removal, wey Dem no make provisions for, so if our refinary start operations, things go gradually come down.

if we take out sentiment from our analysis of tinibu's administration, would you score him low compared to the previous buharis administration? I doubt any person that's following up on his policies will score him low. No doubt, the man is aged and part of the main issue we had against him is that is age wouldn't allow him lead the country in line with the level of technological advancement the world has attained but from what has been the case in terms of policies he has set out to reduce subsidy and cut down on inflation, the president hasn't had a bad start yet.

Most of those members of the northern or southern elders forum have since been blinded with politics of regional interest and they've not been unbiased in thier statement for a ling time now. The administration is still fresh and it might not have achieved the expected result that will lift nigeria off this sorry state but the truth is that they've tried to a very large extent.

I don't pay attention to these northern elders who thinks that this country is in their hands. The truth is that they still think that the world is still they way it used to be 30 years ago. Why will they regret, they thought they knew everything. Let them enjoy the country and let their Tinubu continue to lead. They don't need to regret. Thy are voicing out possibly they want Tinubu to be shaking and come to lobby them with money and position so they will keep being relevant. They don't understand that Tinubu is a someone who doesn't believe in free and fair election. So with or without them Tinubu is already mapping out his way for 2027. They can't intimidate Tinubu by making all these statements, it has been working for them during Jonathan era, but Tinubu won't fall prey to them. Let them keep regretting. Tinubu has more 3 years to complete his first tenure and so there is nothing they can do. The northern votes is nothing without the support they usually get from the West, and this time Tinubu is from the West, e go shock them.

That's the main problem of Nigerians. We never ever think well before we begin supporting people's that are contesting, either the person can do well after elected him as president or senatorial, till after we have voted for them, we go come to they regret it. That's what happened during the Tinubu elections, we all Nigerians voted for him, and we all regret it now.
 
But according to him, President Tinubu, he said that they should not worry, it will make everything better, and we Nigerians can definitely enjoy him, but till he completes one year in office, let us wait and see if what is said is true and if it can change the country for us. Because all people's are very surfing in the country, they're only looking for a way to survive.

I am just laughing because it seems we were running from fry pan to fire and of course there's no different between the past regime and the current administration, in fact this present government seems to be the harder and most difficult I have ever seen throughout my life I was given birth as woman. Where i began to sense fowl play was at the first day he was sworn as president that was how he removed fuel subsidy making fuel price to surge in price from 360 per liter to almost 800 per liter. At this point I came to realized that we have made a serious mistake and of course there are some questions that are hidden we are meant to be unraveled but I believe people are afraid of pushing further to asked because no one wants to be killed therefore everyone keep mute.

Buhari regime was far better than this current administration, because life was better and cost of living was cheaper than this. During Buhari time, dollar price to Naira was okay, and there was no manipulation in the price of dollar to Naira, nether was the price of things as high as this. Manipulating Naira to appreciate in value to dollar, without it appreciating in the price of goods and services show sign of wickedness and self centred. Since he can manipulate Naira why don't he also do that to the economy. Instead of solving the problem, he is busy beating around the bush.

First of all do vote count here, in Nigeria elections are won by the highest rigger and that has been the case here though it is not a new thing, northern elders regretting such is normal because any group of people or individuals are free to regret any action they found worth it, but northern elders would have started this with their brother the former president in the person of buhari who plunged Nigeria into serious economic woes before leaving office, if they start it now I will say that they are biased and I think that it is better for them to retrace their step in the right direction, as elders, they should advise the president on national matters matters that could possibly bring a lasting solution to the economic woes being faced by nigeria currently.

I am not supporting anybody both buhari and Tinubu has never benefit most Nigerians but that will not make me to hide the truth, the suffering of this country started when buhari assumed office as the president of the federal republic of Nigeria, is just that Tinubu failed to understand that subsidy was a trap and he was unable to resist it, the so called north has not been better in terms of rulership except the late president umuru musa yaradua, so the northern elders are free to yarn but it would have been better that this yarning surfaced earlier may their brother would have listened to their yarning or advise respectively.

I don't take this northern elders serious, it's every time they make headlines as if the whole of the north revolved around them. When they were collecting money from Tinubu during the election, they didn't think about this repercussions and what will come after? Tinubu has invested in them and now he is taking time to get back the money he invested in presidency and all that money will be recover. They were so quick to forget how many of them were collecting some dollars as delegates.

When Buhari was president for 8 years, didn't he did the same thing time? Check all his appointments all the way from ministerial list to other top Agencies, the people that occupied such positions were northerners, only few were coming from south south and few numbers form the east. They don't have the right to complain now too.

Do you expect instant decrease in price of good and services as dollar loses value to naira? No, this can't be possible. It will take some times before this can become effective. Remember alot of product has been produced down with an expensive materials by campany, wholesalers have also store goods at high price. Most will want to sell part or all of this before selling at new price. I believe if naira continue to appreciate like this, it will definitely has effect on goods very soon.

Do not think naira just increase in price, the government also manipulated it by decreasing its price and later increased it. The price of phones, laptops and electronics have fallen 50% already but local products are not decreasing in price while some increased in price. If there should be deflation, it also supposed to be on all products, be it imported or produced locally. If other prices have decreased, those that bought at high prices but selling at low prices will also not lose.

The electorate system is so fucked up that the normal people are on the mentality that they need to be paid before they vote anyone in as their choice and this has lead to so many wrong choices in the country because when you know the right thing to do and you still choose to the wrong thing you will definitely reap the results of that action so no elder or anyone should complain let's all seat back and enjoy the ride.

The Northern Elders Forum na cartel of Muslims or people wey dey in charge of bringing out people who them select to be their representative in the government. If dem bring you them expect you to serve dem with all you got and I believe them follow for the people wey tinubu bribe to achieve the primary result so at the end now them don take money vote am for primary den them get deal wey dem no fit accomplish because the current president no dey take advise from anybody, hence it has turn bad for them as the Northerners but all the same dem just dey seek relevance for the public make e be like the government they try for only one side of the country forgetting them.
