Maybe you should delete the wallet, download and install it again and input the seed phrase to know if it will work. You can also try it on other wallet and check if it works or not.
If the seed phrase is also invalid on the other wallets, that means you imported invalid seed phrase. Maybe you do not get some words accurately. Check your backup again.
I would even start with a fresh new browser, + a fresh extension install, without a cache.
I would say that this has nothing to do with any update or error with a third party
Google. Obviously, the seed phrase is invalid, google does not need to deal with seed phrase accuracy at any time.

Have you tried to create a new wallet, from the beginning and only for testing purposes, and then activate it on another installation?
