I have around 2k USD of btc and I wanted to swap it for something but I can't decide whether to buy eth or Solana both seem extremely promising in the far future.

ETH actually also have the same thing going on we know existence of staking programs or restaking programs comming from the many new projects such as zircuit, stakestone, etc the advantage of some projects these days around is that they support omnichain meaning regardless of whether its EVM based, or any other blockchain they can support, so the benefit you mentioned from sol isn't necessarily doesn't exist for ethereum.
moreover, the narrative of meme coin already switching over to base i guess maybe because warpcaster devs are creating all their thing in that blockchain maybe because its more suited in the ecosystem, doesn't mean there will be no meme coin that gonna be emerging from sol though but probably its already diversified across the two blockchain added with ethereum on top of that.
so basically you can be holding ethereum and solana and get the same benefits there's nothing that you gonna miss out here.

There is not doubt that Ethereum and Solana are good and money making coins so I think changing of some bitcoin to buy Ethereum and Solana is not a bad idea if a person has no remaining amount for investment.

Both are preferred more and if you do investment in all of these three coins like Ethereum, Solana and bitcoin then your future will be bright as all these three coins are more money making these days.

In current years these are going successful and they will be more successful if the Bull season remains for longer time because more bitcoin surges in price more Ethereum and Solana will become successful.

The two project are good project that will give you something that will change your story when massive bull run occur, but if you want to make a choice among the two project, I will advise you to make Solana your choice and it will help you to make a good profits that will make you to stay in Solana investment for long.

Both are good coins but Bitcoin is the best one. I am wondering why you are converting the Bitcoins to alts. Bitcoins are limited in number and hence have high potential to grow more in the future, but still in order to get short term profit you want to switch to alts? Nevertheless I don’t want to advise you more. If you really want to choose between ETH and Solana, then go for ETH. Its marketcap is high and hence less chances for losses.

Solana's value and market growth progress is indeed quite fast. Maybe it's also because Solana comes with a solution to cheap and fast transaction fees which is a problem that occurs with Ethereum and Bitcoin.
Binance smart chain also attracted attention first because of its low costs. but the situation of their network adoption declined when quite a lot of new tokens from the BSC network were also scams.
I don't know if it will also have an impact on the Solana network, we can also see that currently many tokens on the Solana network are also scams, maybe also because of the current popularity of memecoins.

Ethereum and Solana are two very good project, they're both blockchain projects that are leading in the creation of a good blockchain for other cryptocurrency to be operating on. Ethereum is old but still very productive while Solana is new and having some problem with their blockchain but they're always working to fix any problem that comes up. Ethereum is closer to fixing their high fee problem that made many developer to leave the blockchain before.

Solana has many projects using their blockchain recently to launch new projects and they're doing very well therefore they'll also be bringing new investors to the Solana blockchain. I think Solana will be a better project to invest into and you can make many profit as Solana is still low and not upto the last all time high. There's more growth for the Solana coin and the blockchain so I'll pick Solana.

Solana is really trending now and that is why some traders and investors thinks Solana is outshining Ethereum which is not so.
I could remember back in few years ago when Ethereum price skyrocketed making holding to make massive profists from $200 to $2000.
So now that Solana is trending, some still think that Ethereum can not be compared to Solana forgetting that everything is based on trend.
We should always choose any token we move to hold and do quick research to know how long we would be holding them.

If you have 2k usd worth of bitcoins then you keep your bitcoins and never buy others coins by swapping those bitcoins. But if you really want to go ahead with Ethereum and Solana coins then you can buy your earnings using DCA method. I don't consider Ethereum and Solana as bad for investment but I forbid buying all these coins by selling Bitcoin.

New projects can't win if they won't come up with a new feature. The idea is to grab a couple of them and reap the benefit that entails with them. Meme coins are only meme coins but it's interesting on how they are being picky with the network that they will get deployed. If they are serious as this, it would be better if they don't create their project under meme coins.

It's okay if there will be no meme coins in the established projects because it only affects their reputation. Each crypto has their own charm, this is why you can't get the same benefits on ETH and SOL but we can have them both so that we won't miss out the other.

Solana is bullshit blockchain that already pump hard due to hype. You can lose a huge percentage of your holdings once there’s a severe correction happened and meme coins/other shitcoins on Solana blockchain is not profitable anymore.

I suggest to stick only to Bitcoin or choose ETH because you can guarantee that ETH value will not correct harder than Solana besides ETH is the nearest contender to have n ETF next to Bitcoin which means it’s good to invest early now while there’s a potential of huge pump in the future due to ETF speculation.

Solana will be over if VC is already finished draining profit to retail from their airdrop business.

and of the two the future of BTC is much more promising. Your reason is not right because if we talk about a promising future, BTC's future is more promising than ETH and SOL. My advice is to keep hold BTC because doubt usually gives unsatisfactory results.
