One of the developers Ari Meilich spits of about the project and left it in 2020.
That shitcoin called Decentraland is lost correlation with BTC like all normal altcoins, and does not grow at all anymore.
It was also previously known that the Decentraland developers turned out to be creditors of the bankrupt Genesis Global which, after the collapse of FTX, suspended it's payments.

I will leave mine as it is - It is only a small part of my portfolio and would be crazy to sell now near the bottom.

My average price is £0.50 so will wait for it to get somewhere near that again before I think of selling or not.

I'm sure you could sell it, you just have to list it on their marketplace below the floor price for similar tiles.

While just about every "metaverse" project has been a disappointment in some way, I think Decentraland has come a long way in the past few years and still has the most potential to "make it." People are building stuff there every day. Having said that, I won't be investing in MANA or land tiles any time soon. It is fun to roam around and see peoples' creations though, no doubt.

The game is not very polished to say the least, using many AI generated assets, as well as the mechanics that doesn't engage the playerbase at all, offering a bare minimum to even start something new in it's World. That, combined with the land which should be bought and used for the activites which are not fun, are a point of listing the project off in my eyes. Always DYOR before going in Web3 games.

I think nobody knows whether the upcoming bull season is gonna be the same as what happened in 2021. This is because it's also possible for Bitcoin to part ways with Altcoin. BTC broke 60k, 65k many times, but look at what Altcoin's doing now. Only a few were touching new ATH, but the rest is crap.

The fact that metaverse is no longer a thing anymore. This metaverse sucks, and i hate it because I invested 1k USD to buy Axie NFTs, but it's now worthy only 50 bucks. I think the euphoria won't come twice. The pump for altcoins has come at the Q1 of 2024.

We are now only seeing bitcoin is going up alone.

The current price for Decentraland is $0.35 and I expect it to at least be double that in the next few months.

It doesn’t take much for altcoins to fall quickly and it also doesn’t take much for them to pump quickly too sometimes so for me I will not sell and just wait for it to recover which I think it will.

I am not sure how high it will go but there is good chance it will at least double from current price this bull run so if you want to just take back what you invested just wait another month or so then you can take back your investment and move on to something else.

I agree with Metaverse not being a good place to invest, but my point is that even the game and platform itself is barren land for gamers who got used to user friendly interface and good mechanics to play around. Also, as you said, the concept of "Metaverse" itself isn't ticking with people anymore so much as it did when it was something new and unexplored. I am sorry about your 1k as well.

We shall see what will happen with this project, but, in any case, your emotions don't have to overwrite your actions or behavior. I wish Decentraland to change for the better and add more good mechanics for the players because in the current state, it's no wonder that it's dumping that hard.

I'm starting to doubt whether you actually purchased anything related to this project at all. This seems to be a coordinated hit paid for by a competitor.

MANA was just overbought & the price ran up too high, it is currently coming closer to a fairer equilibrium.

If anything land prices remain too high, which isn't a problem if you actually held land, and I doubt that you do.

All the people are different, and some go through tough times differently. I don't really like the Decentraland at all, but I wish OP of the post to come over it and find something new that would interest him and give him the profit.
