Tracking inside of CEXs

Hello there
One of my hobbies is to track wallets . I sit for hours and find good ones but I always end up in a cex address and can not see what happens inside of the cex anymore !
Is there a cex explorer or a way to read the blockchain and know what happens in there if its bridging or trading spot or withdrawal to a different chain from the deposit ?? I would appreciate all the help you guys give me and I apologise for taking your time

There is no way to track wallets inside CEX, only the exchanges know who owns what wallet and no other external person. The only result you can get is identifying that the wallet belong to a certain exchange but you cannot know the individual the wallet is assigned to. Another way you can know that a certain wallet belong to an individual is when the individual uses his CEX wallet to receive payment outside the exchange.

To your question is not possible to trace wallets inside a wallet.
Exchanges like binance protects their users privacy from everyone but themselves and who they choose to share with.

The coins belongs to the exchange not the individuals, they are just shown numbers as proof of their claims.

What's your purpose? Is this really a hobby? I find it as an odd hobby but I understand that we're all oddly differently if it's with the hobbies that we've got.

No way to track all of them.

You think this way, these are private entities while blockchain allows us to track even to their cold storage. But these CEXs are aware of it and they want people not to look at the actual that they've got. They've got other wallets, cold storages that are not broadcasted to the public and I doubt that they'd disclose how bridges work inside them.

It will show some known cex addresses.

But what you are trying to accomplish will never be 100% possible. Trades are not registered in the blockchain,  as it is an internal cex transaction

Maybe OP is into data analysis and stuff -- what a productive hobby, if so

But as mentioned, trades are off-chain. But I think you can still have fun with on-chain data, maybe you can check out feature packed tools like breadcrumbs.app however not a lot of features are free.

This kind of log isn't for publication (only authorized parties are permitted). CEX is an offchain process or a common term “internal transaction”, so it should be part of the company's privacy because it will be tied to a person's identity.

You will see as much on-chain data as you want, but once you reach the CEX level. The transactions are mostly internal (off-chain) and you can't access such data unless you write to an exchange with a very strong reason and probably a court order.

You can also track exchange hot wallet and cold wallet addresses, but the transactions are pretty random, and I am not sure what you might be trying to achieve.

Probably none. The tracking might ending only on the address or deposit address of an individual after that youll definitely dont know what will happened on the account whethet its being traded/staked or any kind of activity. But youll see the fund deposited on the address. You can still see if the tokens increase or decreased but thats the info you onrly have. Why would track an address for that? Are you suspecting something or what?

The only one who know the inside of CEX is the employees.

It's better if you track Coinjoin transactions because it's on-chain, although I'm not sure what's your purpose for doing that, probably you want to work for government?

There is a reason CEX are effective mixers, it is not a public ledger like the bitcoin on chain network is. You can see when a UTXO goes in or comes out, but you cannot track what happens on the exchange and who is sending what in or withdrawing what out. If someone withdrew a sum of money from bitcoin to fiat and bought at a later time, you cannot know what he did with the fiat from when he withdrew.

I am curious to know what a "good address" is in your opinion.

That is such a weird hobby, are you auditioning for blockchain analysis companies. If you want information like that, then you have to contact the centralized exchange, what happens in their platform is off-chain and you cannot track it because it isn't on the blockchain.

To continue enjoying your hobby, stick to on-chain data, even though i don't know what you stand to gain by tracking addresses and where their inputs move to, what are you looking for?

Why you want to track inside a CEX? Even if it's possible to do that then what you want to accomplish by tracking the spot trades of the wallets and withdrawals?

I don't think it's legal to do that unless you're someone from a certified agency, but still if you want to do that then unfortunately there's no public block explorer or tools that allow you to do that.

Including Monero (or any other privacy focused chains)? I am really very curious to know if they trace such transactions without breaking a sweat.

what sort of Human creates an account just to ask how they could track wallets on CEXs and doesn't even reply to anyone - to atleast confirm if the information was useful or not?? Shows how frustrating life could be sometimes and you wanna get a boring hubby like wallet tracking...meh!!

Everything that happens on CEX is stored on a private database, so only people with access to it can see what accounts are doing. That's why law enforcement around the world has to make requests to exchanges, asking them about information about the owners of deposit addresses, and that's why exchanges have KYC.

What are the findings that interest you on making this kind of research a hubby, this may be weather you will find out something in connection from such wallet address with another service, but still yet, for how long can we keep hunting after the scammers here and stop them, if we know that many of these exchanges we have cannot be reliable with our asset in them, any custodial means which still falls under closed source is not safe for use.

You'd know which address sent how much to which address. But if you want to know what happens inside a centralized business, that isn't for everybody to know. That's a private company, after all. Centralized exchanges are private companies. Their data aren't open for everybody. Transactions take place within their boundaries. You can't get there without their authorization.

He said it's his hobby. So, he doesn't need to gain anything doing it. Deriving joy from it alone is enough. I'm not sure people gain something from doing hobbies.

Centralized exchanges are purely centralized as the name implies.. Just like the mixers, you will not be able to trace what happens inside if you are not granted access to the data.

Aside from being a hobby I am having suspicious for that kind of hobby I understand if they follow some strategy when it comes to altcoin hunting or what but to know even whats his doing even inside the cex is kinda creepy. Maybe he could just follow the owner of the wallet and ask him to show his strategy on cex (trading) if the guy he follows some sort of influencer but maybe its a whale who are excellent on trading moves.
