So in short there is a 12% premium charged in my country
So I was thinking like in the old days I could purchase btc internationally via creditcard
Does anyone know any European or international platform offering such services??

Hello, this topic probably belongs in Services. When I recently checked Crypto.com they were servicing many countries, they should be able to help you.

Where are you from? You've got a few options like Coinbase, or Bitpanda for Europe. If you're willing to verify your identity as it looks like, it's probably better to use your bank account directly, or deal with other individuals P2P to eliminate those high fees.

Well, it really boils down to where you're at in Europe. Using a local crypto exchange could save you some money versus something international that piles on the fees and these local spots usually let you directly transfer from your bank account, sidestepping those credit card charges. Now I ain't gonna suggest any particular exchange to use internationally but I'd say poke around for some big name exchanges that take credit cards globally. Just be sure to read the fine print on those fees and terms and conditions real careful before you decide. If you have a question about the reputation of a specific exchange before you decide to send your money, feel free to ask.

Keep in mind that when you are going to buy Bitcoin with your card, you have to undergo verification, so you need to provide your identity. Also, there will be a charge for your purchase. I think a more easy option for you is to make a P2P purchase. So you can avoid a lot of hassle when buying Bitcoin. Even you can seek on the forum Currency Exchange section to purchase Bitcoin by cash. Just make sure the seller is trusted; otherwise, use an escrow service. So you are safe.

Using credit card entails you must buy from exchange directly and that's you must also undergo verification or just as the forum staff suggested you can use p2p services. What happened is for you to locates your locality and trade with someone who is from there were he can send you bitcoin and then you may transfer him fiat from your local bank account. This is the easiest way most times I does that with known p2p provider from my local board and is easier for me without having to pass much process with bank.

You may have to trade the rout of centralized exchange if you want to use credit cards to purchase bitcoin, also you have to make sure if your country law supports the use of credit cards to buy bitcoin.
Lastly my advice is, you should just use p2p to buy the bitcoin instead of going through the hustle of using a credit card which will subject you to going thru with some regulation troubles and control.

Are you strictly bent on it being credit card? If you aren’t, you can try other methods of buying like P2P which doesn’t charge you the percent like with your card. You can check Binance P2P (Binance accepts card payment BTW), or you can check other options from this topic https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?topic=5471049.0

If there is p2p then i see no reason why i should leave the decentralized means away and go for acquiring my bitcoin in a centralized way, the central institutions have your credit card information with then and any transaction performed with such will be account for, this was an olden days era, now we are in the new generation of set of people, who understand the way of how things are being done.

We will take advantage of the facilities we already have, of course, if we already have the desire to invest in BTC even though we use a credit card. As long as there is a place that provides why not. Well, continuing what I have read above I think the 12% premium you mentioned is an important consideration because it will be much different from the actual price and if we convert the final result affects your investment emotions.
If I'm not mistaken, if looking for a service that offers Bitcoin purchases with credit cards, there are also available on several platforms such as Bitstamp or For other better places, I think it's easy to just search the internet and will display the information you need.

Yes, you can purchase BTC internationally with a credit card and there are many platforms that allow purchasing Bitcoin with credit cards. Out of those many platforms, crypto.com may be the best one for purchasing Bitcoin with credit cards.
I believe most centralized exchanges allow purchasing of Bitcoin through credit cards. The following exchanges allow purchasing of Bitcoin with credit cards, CEX.IO, Kraken, Bitpanda, Binance, Bitstamp, Bitcoin.com and a few others allow purchasing of Bitcoin with credit cards.

Many exchanges do infact accept both debit and credit cards for purchasing Bitcoin these days, am sure cex.io, kraken(if not for certain cases against it ), moonpay, even Trust wallet, all have credit card options where if anyone can input their credit card number, card verification value, and expiry date, before they can get to buy the Bitcoin they want with the credit card. If I'm in a county where BTC is regulated and accepted, of course going to the bank or purchasing BTC through the banks would be a very viable option seeing one has little experience using any cryptocurrency exchanges. It is just like that in Brazil and Lugano among other countries currently, who are setting up their society and block centers to accept currency exchange from and to BTC and thus allow trading to be facilitated .

There is no true p2p on Binance exchange, it is peer to Binance, and then Binance to the other trading peer. If the op wants to buy BTC through p2p, without giving any third party their personal information, then this is where they should look for options: https://kycnot.me/?t=exchange

I don't know why, but I don't trust negative trust users, even with escrow. And I think that most will have the same attitude. Appearing on a forum after a long time to seem interested in buying Bitcoin, yeah, he might find some weirdo who will believe him and exchange first. Look at the OP's tags; the system works great.

It's been sometime since I last seen someone mention it. I doubt anyone uses it anymore after them shutting down and coming back under a new leadership. If you don't have a problem doing KYC, you might as well just go with something more reputable, has more liquidity and doesn't charge any escrow fees like Binance P2P.

As I said there is a 12% premium here so p2p on binance wont work for buying for selling yes.

You can buy bitcoin with cash using Peach Bitcoin app and you don't need to perform any verification with some daily limitations. Other alternatives are Bisq exchange, Robosats and Agoradesk, so you can try to find what is best for your location. There are other services that accept credit cards but you could be asked to perform kyc there for trading.
