ROLLBIT scammed 130.000$ and made me an addict without taking action on it!

I joined Rollbit on June in 2023 when I saw one of these Ayezee record wins on YouTube. I headed over to Twitter and found a plenty of posts how some guys managed to generate huge gains with their leverage trading what seemed very interesting to me.

So far I was only into hodlin btc eth and buying and selling a couple of memes. So I registered on rollbit, set up an account and deposited 400$ to give it a try. I was able to cash out some profit on my first trade which wasn’t a problem at all. Support been very kind and after a short checking period my eth has been credited to my metamask. So I repeated the process a couple of times using the leverage trading with no markable losses or gains.

Then I opened the house games playing small bets on plinko and things started to get bad for me. I started depositing 300 to 1000 (via Eth) a week.. things went so bad for me that from the end of October 2023 to January 2024 I managed to put all my life savings straight to rollbit wallets which were diminished every single time to zero without any chance of even getting a part of my money back. Sus that I 2 times I had a win that would have covered at least a quarter of my depos at this point (80k depos - around 20k win - back to balance)

I was in contact with support every two or three days asking about what’s going on with their rtp and why I’m loosing literally all my money to them. One guy by the end of a 100,000$ loss streak read that I lost all my crypto to them and didn’t even type anything back! I have screenshots of all of that cause I couldn’t believe what happened) I mean,.. definitely it was my fault don’t get me wrong - I signed up with the knowledge I could loose- but the rollbit system does not allow any chance to break even or even win something within months what is ridiculous!

A couple of days in a row I deposited 2000,3000,5000 back to back- some days my depo volume was over 10k chopped into amounts mentioned above. Meanwhile I kept complaining over that situation almost daily in support chats with several agents and literally nobody give a f about it. They didn’t ask about anything all they had to mention is that their casino is provably fair and they have highest standards, rtp is calculated on a million spins bla bla…

Literally rollbit took all my money and did not care about anything over months ! The same copy paste agent guys like every single contact. Instead of marking me as a heavy gambler what they should have done in the first couple of chats- cause there’s markers for addictive game behavior and mine definitely was bloody red.

So at this point I lost 2 btc and 30eth and I’m writing this with debts on credit card that I can’t pay back. A mother that went from a proud mom to a : okay my sons fucked up, having depression and mental health issue that made me stop training for 4 months now.

Rollbit has a highly addictive rateback to cut your loss a tiny bit over weeks by logging into your account every couple of hours. Also their algorithm of rtp is far from what industry standard should look like.

I always used to be a positive guy, motivated to the fullest, working as a influencer in the fitness scene and personal trainer irl. But now,.. I actually never felt that bad before in my life and now at the age of 37 with years of changing my life to something better and a good fundamentals to go for that I’m simply broken. what started as a promising opportunity driven by famous influencers on x shilling came out a rigged site that is set up to drain high stake gamblers or make people an addict to their system.

I will keep up informing the internet about what’s going on this evil site to never let that happen to anyone again.

I understand the frustration here, but ultimately we all have to take responsibility for our own actions.  Rollbit provides platforms for high-risk gambling, yes, but no one forced your deposits or big bets.  After multiple losses continuing to risk life savings seems unwise and  rather than accuse and assign blame, it may be best to reflect on what lessons can be learned so similar mistakes arent repeated.  There are always healthier paths forward.

Let me ask you just one thing: If it had been any other casino besides Rollbit, would you have realistically expected a different outcome in your case? Did you ever expect to come to an online casino with money and guaranteed leave with a profit?

Did you take time to read through some tips in their Gambling with responsibility guide?
That should be the first you look to when you realize you have a problem with gambling addiction.

Aside from having a chat with live support, most of which are at times slow or incompetent. Did you take time to write an email to the support to have your self excluded from the platform given the gambling problem?

I'm very sorry for your loss but that's not scamming as you have lost everything willingly by betting. Those who play casino games should understand that there's always house edge set by a casinos on those games to be the winner in end.

Only those people who are very lucky might be able to win that house edge, but most people aren't very lucky and that's why they lose continuedly. If I were on your place, then I would never deposit such high amounts for betting on casino games.

Nobody forced you to watch influencers on youtube, and nobody forced you to send coins anywhere, you did it all by yourself.

If you feel unsafe with the casino site where you are playing, don't ever play there. If you have spent a lot of money there, then forget it, don't think about chasing it and getting it back. Just look for a site that makes you feel safe.
The casino will not hypnotize you to spend more of your money in the game if you have control and your limits. You know this is considered as illness worldwide and I think this is why licensed casino have rules e.g. listening to someone who’s obviously not in control of what he’s doing in that moment. Actually, I think what OP tried to accuse here is Rollbit's "inactivity" toward the sign of his gambling addiction that made him lose a lot. He claimed that they should have seen the sign when he chatted with them, demanding explanation about RTP and their PV.

Depending on how he conveyed those messages on his chat, which he's yet to provide, and unless he brushed that topic, I don't think an agent can infer the signs if he just keep asking about those two. If I were the agents, I will most likely think he's just a disgruntled player who vent their frustration upon losing, and I've give my best to explain about how those two --PV and RTP-- works.

Ah yes, thank you for this clarification, I had to reread the entire story once again to the end to understand. and what made me think the OP was the mother is this phrase:

It seems like his mother is disappointed, although I'm having a hard time to get it since if the OP was a very good son, 37 years old and a fitness influencer, I would expect from his mother to be supportive and help him fight his addiction not the opposite, abandoning him after his first fall. Up to what he wrote in the story, he doesn't admit his only fault which can be a sure sign of a bad addiction when you blame the casino for your losses.

I suggest for him to share his story on YouTube as an influencer, admitting his mistakes and addiction to warn people about the dangers of gambling irresponsibly. It could be a lesson for all. I believe that sometimes it's good to go public, and to have people who will support you through your tragedy and get back on your feet faster.
