Currently, most of the younger generation are very few who want to do traditional jobs, they prefer to follow current technological developments and prefer to be employees who have a fixed salary, indeed there are some who want to return to working in traditional jobs and they have been able to incorporate technology into the work they do to make it easier for them to complete their work.

Currently, in this era of fast-paced technology, the current golden generation wants to have money or a good income and they are not too interested in traditional jobs anymore because there the certainty of earning money is uncertain, that's why today's young generation is very rare They want to become farmers or fishermen because of the uncertainty of having a lot of money.

In this era of technology and work is not difficult for them and the income they earn is extraordinary, that is why they do not want to enter the traditional world of work.

We can't really blame the young people for this because technology is to blame for its contribution of making some of these traditional jobs redundant as many companies cut running costs of a business, and if these jobs are there it means they being reserved for a select few that have extensive experience that will leave out millenials still searching for jobs that's to lack of experience in the job industry, and worse off the pandemic, the Russia Ukraine war, Pump prices going up etcetera have all contributed to most of these traditional jobs to be downsized as companies try to work with the little available resources available...

I also think young people have run the numbers and found other markets that can pay them way better than traditional jobs which has made a lot to flock in such markets such as influencer marketing, YouTubing, trading, Bitcoin mining etc and I think its time to embrace the change and see how far it takes us.

overall I think as you said the fact that unemployment rate could also mean that the people with experiences are getting their job back with their extensive experience its easy to get a foot hold again after the massive lay offs meanwhile for the newer generation with no extensive experience are the one that probably as of now remains jobless.
the current job requirement is getting harder and harder to meet and the entry job level is getting scarce its actually scary to be just graduating out of unversity right now and seeking job only to find none and next year already having less value than the newer graduates.

I think as you said, venturing other creative sectors out there such as a non conventional jobs of 9-5 such as trading, investing and so on become a must these days.

I still remember how there was hiring spree back in the days of the pandemic in the sector of technology while other sector is having massive cut downs in operational of various companies that make many people unemployed but right now things got reseved, the technology related industry is laying off many people for the sake of cutting down operation meanwhile the other sector starting to add more workforce into their companies.

I work as a UI/UX designer in a very comfortable working environment where sometimes I can play ping-pong, PlayStation and have some fun while my salary remains significantly higher than those who do manual labour and very physically intensive jobs.
As the young generation grows, they see how some people do a little job and have lots of money while others work very very hard and barely have money for food. It's hard to motivate them to work in traditional industries, and their parents do everything to make that happen, to protect their kids from working in traditional industries.

GenZ isn't going to work in those industries and I think that if AI and robots develop soon enough before the elder generation (40+) retires, then we can be safe or those traditional industries will be forced to offer higher salaries, less physical work and better working conditions.

I think only those people who don't have soft skills or the don't have the skill to take their own business to another level will choose these type of employments. There are only very less of a people who truly love their job and they do it with their heart.

Mostly people are doing it because they want money to run their house and to live a life where they can be good in their as well as others eyes. So I think it will not last long.

I don't know if there is a study on this or just your assumption but from what I see in reality in my location, traditional jobs are being sorted out by people from all age groups. You also know there are few jobs around so the pressure is high. Most people engaged in under pay jobs just to survive.

It’s always the technology that will continue to influence people most particularly the young ones, and I think there’s no wrong with it since they are only taking great advantages with the best offers at the moment. No need to stick to traditional jobs if they find satisfaction with the current trend. However, knowing this technology and this current trend might not last for a lifetime, then these people should be responsible enough to save while there are still current earning opportunities. So that in the future, they won’t find it hard to enjoy their retirement, and they can do things they want and focus on their investments that will give them passive profits.

Traditional jobs are decent and are still significant in life, but we can’t force these young people to dwell on the type of jobs that they no longer have passion and interest. It may only become a source of regrets in the future.

I think there is no way to make money quickly, everything that is done to get money certainly requires a process so that we can get money, if you think you will be able to get money in a fast way of course you have never done any work, it would be better for you try a job and try to experience the world of work so that you can find out that to be able to earn income from the work we do requires a process that is not easy and we have to be patient through each process.

Why would they? I mean the way people work are changing, and the reality is that if you let the employer dictate what you want to do, then you are not going to get any good results, they will not let you get anything else. But if enough workers decide to reject the offers, then employers will have nothing left to but accept how they want to work.

This is why older generation keeps calling the newer generation "lazy", I am sure that when people worked 7 days a week, and newer generation asked for 5, the older generation called them lazy too, but that's how you gain workers rights, you keep denying the employer what they want, and dictate what you want from them, and they are forced to accept eventually so their business doesn't go out of business.

Young generation even newly grads only focus on creating garbage content, streaming games and other dance videos that makes them not interested anymore on finding a decent job since they are earning good from social media views. Young generation here spend a lot of time browsing contents on social media and create their own content that’s why we contributes a lot of views and engagement on social media which is alarming to the business sector due to lack of professional and workers in the future. 

Those ads financer on social media usually paying for views of kids that doesn’t even know the product they are advertising. 

The worst part of it is that they doesn't even care about the viewers age, I see most of them promoting gambling even though they are aware that kids or young ones are also part of their viewers.
And not to mention that most of those who tasted or had experience of earning online wouldn't even consider applying or trying any physical job or labor.

Having this social media fame really makes a big impact to these young job seekers these days. Instead of going out and diligently look for available jobs, they prefer to stay at home waiting for freelance jobs that they can use their skills and get decent compensation. The trend has changed, and what we are seeing now is currently what these young people wanted to see. Traditional jobs are not working these days, but for some who have already acquired stable and high paying jobs, of course they won’t replace it with freelance jobs.
