Since the NBA games will have fewer games, I'd probably focus here more.

The Dallas Wings are on a good 2 game winning streak, while the Seattle Storm are not doing great with 2 losses in a row. Natisha Hiedeman is doing what she can for her team, but she needs more help. I think the Wings are going to take the W on that game. It's the spreads that we should think about.

The second game, on the other hand, is kind of fishy. Lynx is the number one team with 6 wins, while the Mercury only has 2. I don't see any injury reports, so it's either a steal or a trap.

The Minnesota Lynx didn't even let the Phoenix Mercury get close from 1st quarter to the 4th quarter. 111 - 77

Toronto Tempo - Chicago Sky- Toronto Tempo (-3.5) @1.93 - Despite losing against the Liberty in their last game, they already defeated the Sky in their last meeting. They actually had a good 2-win streak before they were defeated.

L.A. Sparks - Portland Fire - L.A. Sparks (-7.5) @1.87 - Third losing streak for Sparks and two for the Fire. This might actually be a good game with both teams trying to stop their losing streaks.

Seems like spreads really are not going your way at the moment. That Toronto game especially must have hurt. Washington only winning by 1 points because of a disastrous final quarter where they got outscored by 12 points, that's tough.
Really surprising how well it goes for Toronto though. For a team with only players that other teams basically didn't want (to protect) they are doing a great gob in their first year. Even after this loss they are still 7 win and 6 losses, who would have thought.

True, players like Sabally definitely can have an impact. I was surprised when her former team didn't protect her from being selected.
Last night Toronto looks really sharp, for 12 minutes, after leading 30:18 everything fell apart for them and they proceeded to lose by 25 points, despite being a slight underdog. The 2nd quarter was something else, going from up 12 after 12 minutes to being down 8 after 20min is crazy, 20 point swing in just 8 minutes. That's WNBA basketball for ya.

Yeah, some say it's predictable, and look at how it ended up. That's 1 of 2 for me because of the sudden sprint by the Dream.

Caitlin Clark is so amazing. She is having a rough night on outside shots, so she decided to use the free-throw line as her offensive share. 10 of 14 at the penalty line, and it's almost half of her total points. Great win for the Fever.

The New York Liberty won by only a point. Ouch! They are the ones that I am sure to win in my bets, but that was really surprising. The Chicago Sky fought well. Gabriela Jaquez. That lady showed some 3-point skills.

I don't know how the Dream won that game with CC, Kelsey, and Boston all doing great on the offensive end. I cannot say it's a defense because there's very low performance there. I think it's being too reliant on their stars.

I read down in some commentaries, and someone said that Fever is having a problem with no big women inside the paint. I agree with half of it. Boston is not the problem. It's the need for help that she must seek, and I think she was exhausted helping out.

Pretty amazing that a player that has been cut (not protected) by her former team in Connecticut to join an new franchise in the expansion draft now puts up a number like that.

Super amazing. 125 total points for Toronto Tempo that night. Then the Chicago Sky also scored 124 points. Hmmm. I am liking this offensive battle. Then today, Mystics had 124, and Fire had 123 in a battle until overtime. I was a fan of playing the totals over bets, but I stopped due to a bad losing streak last season. I might reconsider it if, after watching teams play offense this well.

Sadly, we have no games later.
But the next day will be a good one. Liberty versus Aces.
