I've shared a few posts over the years to try and educate best practices. Things like, most having no clue how to redeem a physical btc. This instructional video may be the best one to date.. https://youtu.be/gjJZbrzBiR0?si=8rLVhBzFBf0rDp73Not sure if I ever shared this one, but here's the worlds smartest human giving his assessment on our hobby- https://youtu.be/ImKO3_eITsA?si=He1YLA0MQVAx7eZzBUT, this one... I need some help translating ( is this Russian/ Croatian ?? ). I've got a lot of these coins and think I'm booking a flight out east asap.. You likely need an Insta account to view. There is also an 18+ rating (at least here in Murica). I wouldn't say it's NSFW, but prob shouldn't play out loud if this is in your native language lol. I screen recorded the video and tried to upload to Imgur, but it wouldn't work. Not sure what other programs might. If you've got an insta account though, you're good- https://www.instagram.com/reel/C3vQosmMXlE/?igsh=MWg4Yzk2enVuNDlwNw==

It's a comedic Russian series where a guy tries to sell a coin to a woman, but she just wants to show her rich man that she's capable of making money on her own. In Russian films and series, there are many instances involving Bitcoin, not just this kind of comedy, but also about mining and other topics. There was also another series where a girl would go to elderly people who is in retirement and set up mining rigs there. She would pay them a little and tell them it's just a computer doing some security stuff, reassuring them not to worry. She did this all over the city and had more than 100 apartments involved.

^ That was my take after watching it. Seemed like they were trying to make a funny video to get some clicks and they accomplished their goal. I would love to see MJB’s coins get the respect they deserve. He really was a pioneer in the space. That’s why I paid him to design my binary rounds and probably less well known, he also did the artwork for bitpics.

Yes, he's selling just a coin like a real Bitcoin And then the guy tries to hide by wearing a hoodie so no one sees him because the woman is the wife of some oligarch, and he's a little scared. But later, she finds him with some bodyguards, and he's very scared. She asks him, "Why are you hiding?" and tells him that she needs more of them because she sold it with some profit to their friends, other oligarch wives

MJB Monetary Metals were coins minted at the "Mulligan Mint", which only operated for a very short time but were known for super high-quality rounds because they were minted using old Denver Mint equipment that they had aquired in auctions. They only operated for a very short period before shutting down due to a large "missing" shipment of silver, so coins minted by Mulligan Mint will very likely fetch a higher numismatic value simply because of their extreme rarity, in the future. They are highly counterfeighted, particularly the copper "circuit board" bitcoin logo coins which made it onto so many magazine covers, but they also include the "very first" bitcoin rounds to ever hold the bitcoin logo, even before Casascius coins, as noted in the encyclopedia of physical bitcoins. So those onese are super highly prized and they sell for upwards of $300 for a single GRAM of silver.

see this thread from 2011 https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?topic=23256.0The above coins were minted by CMC mint, sorry, which is Central Metals Corp, it's only the later "circuit board" logo copper rounds that were done at Mulligan mint. These were also done by the same designer, Mick Bruce, and were known as the 2012 MJB Monetary Metals "Bitcoin Art Round". The copper ones sell for like $70 to $200+ for the MS70 graded ones. shown below:

I have some of these (Cooper) dated 2013 on the back and not 2012. These have some "interest" by collectors? There Is difference between 2012 and 2013 edition? What can be the current market valute? These are looking really great...not graded but always kept in air-tite capsule...

I have detailed this all in this thread - https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?topic=5351100.0 Rob Gray who stole the design from Mick and claims as his own has been running scams for years and year and years. This is what I've been trying to tell everyone, for years. I just came across a bunch of old research I will be publishing soon exposing his cat and mouse game even more so. He's had countless websites, countless LLCs, countless lies and deception ..I mean I could write a 1000 page novel about it. I will be pushing harder at JM Bullion, Amazon, Walmart, and the countless other pop up sites who sell his bullshit. He's a con, and should be in jail. His coins detract from Bobby Lee's Ballet coins which should be sold by JM , WalMart, Amazon etc. It's only a matter of time however until Rob and all his bs gets busted and these companies stop selling these wallets, and maybe for good. So ...help me spread the word, if you care about this space/hobbby and preventing others from being scammed. Is it not sickening how little the FBI and all other US law enforcement agencies have given a shit. As a Murican I pay their mf salaries and they could give a fuck less it would seem. (shout out to all those who've reached out to them regarding past scams like Tim Fillmore at Titan..which was well over a million dollars. At least it's documented, not that we don't have enough proof of how pathetic these law enforcement agencies are). Anyways...I will be updating the Cold Storage Coin scam thread soon. Adding even more substantial proof of rampant fraud. Maybe the FBI or FinCen, CIA, or any of those lazy fucks might actually step in and do something ..maybe?! What really pisses me off is reddit mods for r/coins and other major coin/PM sub reddits. They refuse to let me present this info. Old timey fckrs (they just hate crypto too, even though they don't understand it, so that doesn't help). Aaron Swartz is the legend who helped build reddit just for things like this, and his project has been ruined by dipshits and selfish turds who don't want to bring negative light to their precious sub's since they make a ton of money running them...regardless of what's right. I had more written up here but I was just going off on a personal tangent no one cares to read through lol. This shit just gets me worked up like no other. Okay I need to smoke some reefers and calm down a bit. MJB Monetary Metals were coins minted at the "Mulligan Mint", which only operated for a very short time but were known for super high-quality rounds because they were minted using old Denver Mint equipment that they had aquired in auctions. Yeah last time I talked to Mick, he mentioned that they were still using his old "circuit board" design and he wasn't getting any royalties. I believe Rob Gray was also involved in a scam going back all the way to "Liberty Dollar" which was like a pre-bitcoin private dollar note thing that got shut down by the Feds.
