-Go any rig worker.
-Click the button "Hive Shell Start" and run the page.
-Type "hive-replace --beta" and wait the progress is finished.
-Click the button "Hive Shell Start" and run the page after the rig worker has rebooted
-Type the commands below to install the node:

apt install screen
apt install ntpdate
mkdir xelis
cd xelis
wget https://github.com/xelis-project/xelis-blockchain/releases/download/v1.9.3/x86_64-unknown-linux-gnu.tar.gz
tar -xf x86_64-unknown-linux-gnu.tar.gz
rm x86_64-unknown-linux-gnu.tar.gz

-The node has just installed now. We can run the node now. Remember that you have to start the node if the rig reboots at any time.


-Type the commands below to start the node:

cd xelis/x86_64-unknown-linux-gnu
screen -S node-xelis ./xelis_daemon --allow-boost-sync

-Just wait for the sync progress. You can go back by pressing CTRL + A + D on the keyboard.
You can use this command to see this screen at any time: "screen -r node-xelis"

-Use this command to access the wallet: screen -S wallet-xelis ./xelis_wallet
"create" command for create new wallet and follow the prompts.
"open" for open the exist wallet and follow the prompts.
"display_address" for the wallet address.
"exit" for close the wallet.
-Be sure you take noted the SEED !

Now, create wallet at HiveOS.
Create flight sheet at HiveOS.

Many miners complain that errors occur when connecting to other people's nodes. You need to run the node on a separate local PC, and after synchronization it will connect to the local IP address, then you will have stable operation. Now synchronization takes approximately 4 hours on an SSD drive.

Make sure that the mining software is connecting to the daemon address 127.0.0.1:5210, otherwise you will be solo mining.

Xelis #XEL developers want to carry out a hard fork

As a small update, we are planning a hard fork with the following changes:

- Update POW algorithm to bridge the gap between CPU and GPU, making it much more secure (currently being tested and revised).
- Fix the difficulty algorithm (and the stated network hashrate), reduce the percentage of changes between blocks
- Increase the additional data limit for transactions from 1 KB to transfer up to 32 KB (and limited to 1 KB per transfer).

Once we confirm everything, the testnet will be released with all the changes, as well as the hardfork date.
