I have lived in many communities and some States or regions in my country and there are some communities I went and I discovered that women are more productive by going to farm and other daily activities to provide food in the family than men. I would say that in the US you have literally the melting pot of gambling. You will see the legal age limit all the way up to folks in wheel chairs that are too old to even walk. You may be right but there are also some gambling that you find more older people getting involved than young people just that majority of the gambling games are conquered by younger ones because they have possibilities of making money and using it to play gamble since older people may not have much strength to work again so in most cases they find it difficult to play because they don't have staking power (money to stake) but when talking about young people being more exposed to modern day gambling online, you need to know that some older men also play gamble online as I have seen several old men with expensive phones and gadgets and they do come to gambling agents to fund their online gambling accounts.

Have you personally seen that kind of attitude coming from the elderly who like to spend time in casinos? They sexually assaulting the hostesses ?
Here in my country that is breaking the gambling and house etiquette in a very serious way and one could easily be thrown out the place for such things. Perhaps the culture of our countries are very different from one another, but I am still curious whether that is tolerated there or not.
Also, kind of ironic you mention the elderly can afford to gamble there because they receive money from their pension programs, because here it is completely the contrary situation, the pension is so low they can barely manage to eat, if they do not have the support of the rest of their family.

This same question I asked my colleagues, in my country where I come from the younger ones are taking over now cause of the online casino. Back then it wasn't like this but nowadays the youth's are much more gambling more than the elderly people. You raise some good points but even then it is difficult to tell, the elderly are for the most part retired already, they have a lot of free time for their hobbies, they most likely already paid all their debts and have a pension fund as well.

So while the young are without a doubt more knowledgeable about the new technologies, they may not have as much money or time to spare for their hobbies, while on the other hand the elderly are not limited by those factors and can gamble whenever they feel like it.

People middle aged are busy with their job and they are in their golden ages so if they just playing gambling without using their times to works and builds their wealth and their lives, there's something wrong with them. Younger generations understand that money is everything in this era and they can't do anything if they don't have a lot of money, so they are always on the look out for ways that they can use to earn a lot of money and they probably find gambling as an opportunity to achieve that because we know gambling provides one the opportunity to either earn a lot of money or lose what they have, and people these days are ready to take such risks without giving it much thought only to try and achieve financial freedom in their lives.

That's the effect of gambling, it's not going to go away anytime soon because the old and young are getting addicted to it, and we all know how habits are when they start to form, they will eventually take root and in the worst case, become and addiction. The simple answer to the question the OP posed is the younger generation. Youngsters are more inquisitive than others. They prefer luxuries to enjoy life and they strive for quick earning. And for this they think of gambling as a platform from which huge amounts of money can be earned. Although this idea is wrong but these tendencies can be seen in them. Well, I think you are right. But when it comes to the young and old who gambles more question, I think the young are the ones that gamble more than the old people. Most young gambler don't have a lot of money to gamble but they makes sure to gamble even with their little money. But the old ones are always going to work in the morning and coming back late and most atimes  they get tired after having a stressful day at work, but when it comes to weekends they gamble. In Africa, you will hardly see physical casino, in my country before you will see a physical casino, you will probably would have counted 1000 physical betting shop and those shops are sport bets and for this reasons, elders don't have a way to play casino games and not all of them love playing sport games, most of them don't even watch football or any other sports games like the Asian people do most often.

Very common approach into those young people who would really be that too aggressive and loving to engage on things on which they do seem that beneficial for them and since gambling is one of the things that could make you money then it would be normal that they would really be having that impression which is far more active and more impulsive than to those older ones on which we know that when it comes to gambling then losing is much more than with winning. Lack of experience and awareness will really be leading into disaster until they would really be able to have those experience and then sooner or later they would really be able to tell into themselves that they should really be gambling out moderately and this is something that everyone would really be needing to do when they do gamble. I think the general trend is towards older players, primarily because they've worked out mechanisms to earn money that they continue to feed into gambling or have come in to money from various other sources. A younger player will generally be paid less in their jobs and potentially play more recklessly, meaning they are tapped out of money more quickly. At the far end of the age spectrum, the oldest players have formed a pretty hardcore addiction by that point and may even be retired, so they have chosen to spend the most of their free time betting instead. They've probably worked out tricks to make their money stretch much longer, so they can fill up the time easier and last until late.
