This is actually true, if we go ahead and be back to 2016-2017 era. Many investors were investing due to the influence of the others and not basically they've done their own research. It's important to know what you are investing and what you'd be doing with your money because you are responsible for what you do and not the other people. It sucks when you have invested to something or any crypto tokens or what not and then your main reason because a friend of yours told you to, or you've read a shill told you to do that, you're doing it the wrong way.

They have to realize this that we're all responsible for any results that we do with our money. If fortunately, the random investment that you do and you've just followed the herd and you became profitable, that's good. There are people who invested in bitcoins because others where investing, these people because of their lack of personal reason of investing turn out to be weak holders of bitcoins. You are not wrong in saying that if someone is looking for x10 or more returns then investing in bitcoin is not a wise choice. Is it just Bitcoin investment? Nah, this advice is for everything else that has to do with investment, don't invest in something you know nothing about, not even if you know too less, make sure you spend time doing research first.

I will say don't invest anywhere because others are investing not only for bitcoin always an professional investor will make a proper analysis about his each investment source before investing. In case of bitcoin this is also Indeed because bitcoin is highly volatile that others sources like gold, lands. And here many of us continuously facing losses because of only investing with the hype. Like when bitcoin was dip down at 16k most of them was not interested to invest and for now more over most people are interested to invest on it. Investing in Bitcoin should be a personal choice and it is not because we saw people doing it and we want to do the same and what we don't know is that the person we are trying to mimic might have other jobs or business alternatives where they are seeing their money. Now that the price of Bitcoin is down, it could be an opportunity to invest but we still have to check very well so that we don't end up with loses if eventually Bitcoin starts falling below the price we might have bought it. It is good to always make research before taking on an investment. A lot of people have invested by following the hype in the news or crowd and have failed massively in their investment while few that are lucky made a lot from such investments. No one is saying bitcoin investment will make you lose all of your money you’ve invested in them. The truth is that, are you willing to control your emotions and be okay as the market go up and down with respect to its volatility? If you’re not ready for that, then bitcoin investment is not for you. You’re not losing your money in bitcoin if you’re ready not to sell in haste but will wait for the right time for your investment to grow, so it has to do with how much you’re willing to sacrifice and not to use now until it has grown to your target before withdrawing the investment.
