I would like to announce

https://i.imgur.com/YQSKetB.png

SatoshiHold Is a very secure, very quick web wallet.

Now I know how you guys feel about web wallets with the "hacks" that happened with Inputs.io and Instawallet, however this could never happen to SatoshiHold! Bitcoins never come in contact with our servers, nothing is stored on our website except the JavaScript used to decode your passphrase! With SatoshiHold, if you keep your information safe, you never have to worry about someone stealing your coins from our end!

SatoshiHold works by generating a Passphrase for you using the Electrum poetry list, which is then hashed, and then stretched into 10 bitcoin addresses.

With SatoshiHold your addresses and Bitcoins are held offline. When you need to send them, the transactions are pushed through Blockchain.info

None of the Bitcoins that are stored at our website are stored anywhere on the web. All the Bitcoins on the website are all stored completely offline and never touch our servers once. With SatoshiHold, your Bitcoins are very secure.

Features:
  • Basically Anonymous because there is no footprint left on our server when you login and out, and we don't store any personal info!
  • Very secure wallet. As the Bitcoins aren't stored on our servers, hackers have less angles of attack to steal your Bitcoins
  • Your Bitcoins are stored completely offline
  • Available on nearly all devices. We use bootstrap in order to bring you a beautiful website that is accessible on mostly all devices

Things to expect next:

A Litecoin version! Indeed, we are currently working very hard in order to bring you, not only a very secure Bitcoin wallet, but also a very secure Litecoin wallet using the same tech as SatoshiHold.

If you want more info, or want to try it out, check out the website here:http://www.satoshihold.x10.mx

So please, check out the site and try it out. I hope you like it!

Looks interesting. Will be keeping an eye on this thread to see what other coins you add beyond BTC & LTC.

We will be releasing an Android application for SatoshiHold.

This app is still fairly buggy and kind of slow, however it operates properly. The permissions you give the app are NEVER USED, we do NOT change anything on the system, access any personal files, or anything. It is only the SDK we use to create the application, it forces us to ask for more permission than is needed for the app to run. We are looking into ways to fix this however, you can scan the app for any malware if you like.

You should expect the app to be released within the next week or two.

To use it you will need to create a passphrase on the SatoshiHold website first, then enter it into the application. Loading times will be slow on mobile devices, we are looking into speeding these times up.

The OP will be updated with the download link when it is released.

Wait a second... wouldn't this actually give you access to the mobile wallet??

We used PhoneGap as an SDK to turn our HTML, CSS, and Javascript into a native Android app. It doesn't access the web until you login (To get prices and send BTC) We are still banging out some final touches and such, but the app should be released in a couple of weeks.

Have you encountered any issues while using PhonGap or you just converted without any extra work? Never heard of that and it looks great.

Btw: nice service; I am going to try it Smiley

We didn't have very many issues converting it. There was just a problem with the size of some stuff. Not all of the text would fit on screen, so we had to fix that of course. Also there is a problem with speed. The app works correctly however it is fairly slow, so we are working on that. But other than those few issues we haven't noticed anything wrong with it at all, all conversions went smooth and we can even build an app for other mobile devices.

Also thank you for the compliment Smiley

Hey guys, Just a quick update

We have successfully added multiple currencies, Including Litecoin, Peercoin, and Dogecoin. We are just working on getting it live on the site and finishing up testing.

We will start working on turning this into a mobile app too when we are finished all the testing and putting the final touches on everything.

Anyway, this was just a quick update, so look forward to the new site in the next couple of days.
