There is no doubt that Bitcoin is the best among them, but that doesn't mean one should diversify their portfolio. If someone tells me that Bitcoin is the best and most trusted cryptocurrency, I would say yes, I agree with that, but if someone tells me that altcoins are completely useless and worthless, I wouldn't agree with that because there are a lot of altcoins in the market that are very good.

So when someone has a capital and is willing to start making investments in cryptocurrencies, they should allocate a larger percentage for Bitcoin, but have a dedicated portion of the capital for some altcoins that are also known to be good performers as they have been around for quite a long time such as ETH which is the oldest and the best altcoin out there.

DCA is a good strategy to buy any coins or tokens to the dip price but even if you do it to coins or token you like without a deep research about the coins/token you are planning to keep DCA you might end up earning negative profit.

So if you want to avoid them better do it only to the top 10 coins listed on Coinmarketcap and coingecko but the only problem is other altcoins are way more volatile than the current top 10 coins. If you are a risk taker you can do DCA to any altcoins from the top 100 just make sure to diversify them because some altcoins are not performing well and old coins like TRX is not performing nice these days even the price of BTC drop it keeps increasing.

My choices are also focused on the top 10 and in addition I add 5 more to make the top 15 in addition if needed and what if I use the DCA strategy on various different altcoins, will the results be more optimal or vice versa, but it looks very complicated if the spread too big, but the investment has many opportunities

For some major altcoins, the spread or gap is low compared to Meme tokens like $Turbo or $Pepe the spread for both of these is pretty high I don't know why coingecko shows a low spread but the fact is if you directly buy them from exchanges it's pretty high but we don't have other choices if we want to buy a coin in a dip price only DCA strategy will work traders can't not determine where is the dip but they keep DCA at the best position on the current market structure. For example, they buy only in a support area or a place where you know in demand if it fails and the price drops further then that's another opportunity to buy a coin at a very cheap price DCA comes in that's the only strategy works on spot trading if you believe on the coin or token you are investing to.

actually there are still HODLING and Buying low Selling High now and I am still idolizing those Hodlers that I can find here in
our forum that have been holding their coins since 2011 and they are really inspiring .

For those who trade using the DCA method, this is a fundamental thing for them to understand that you should first look at your balance and determine how much and how many coins you want to buy at what time. And so that you can sell back if the market goes down so you can buy more coins. Last year my friend and I were trading together using the DCA method. You opened this thread like you wanted to present a direction with specific coins to look at and buy. By mentioning ALTS are you referring to a particular coin called ALTS or you are referring to many of them? If you are referring to many of them that means you did not get it right because there are many altcoins people should not even dream of buying. Those altcoins are shit and scam coins waiting to be rug pulled. No one should invest without making their research.

We can't really generalize that if the diamond hand will always be winning the game. Those bitcoin holders were so damn lucky caused by they were holding the most legit coins in the cryptocurrency. What about those who are holding altcoins now?



CMC's greed and fear index has been showing a slight decrease. A few days ago, it was above 70. It means crypto users are not feeling so confidence with the current market situation.

DCA is good for now but we must also be patiently waiting for the deep. It's not funny when you are getting trapped at the bottom while others can buy at the bottom. It's clear that if bitcoin is getting rekt.

The better if we are waiting it patiently. Im sure that btc may break 67k soon.
