Never read the OP because of that very long teeext, and just understanding the replies and the title lol. In any way of explanation snd encouranging to my parents, i don't think they will still be interested in such things, they will probably tell me to do it on my own instead. They are even hard to gasp the technology behind smartphones how much more on bitcoin, a magic money.

To encourage parents to buy Bitcoin, simplify its concept, address misconceptions, emphasize its transformative potential, and respect their autonomy in financial decisions.

As per my parent's decision I invest in Bitcoin but currently Bitcoin has moved to dumping position so my investment has suffered a lot of losses. Less educated and less informed parents are currently upset about my investment. But I am trying to convince my parents that every investment has risk and long term holding will definitely result in loss recovery.

How do you want your mom and dad to understand all these wall of text that you wrote. It will be boring to them and that alone can discourage anyone from listening to you the second time. You must not convince or force anyone to buy bitcoin, so that you will not be held responsible for their actions, when the price of bitcoin goes south or if anything happen to their bitcoin investment.

Just tell whoever that you want to introduce to bitcoin, the basic concept of bitcoin that it is worth investing in bitcoin as an investment for a long time or to use it as their savings because it is an hedge against inflation, instead of keeping their savings in banks that will depreciate overtime. They should also use the amount of money that they can afford to lose. Whoever is interested will make research and come back to you showing interest, then you can throw more light on bitcoin the second time.
You have given good advices especially the way the OP described it here is good but a reader will find it annoying. He would not want anything from such a thread. If someone needs to be convinced about Bitcoin, then simply explaining it without making it so big will increase its acceptance. If the OP wanted to let his parents know about Bitcoin, that's certainly commendable. Because Bitcoin can be more valuable than any major asset in the long run. Those who don't know will regret it someday. But of course they can be encouraged to invest in Bitcoin by convincing them but they should never be forced. Because the price of Bitcoin fluctuates widely, if the Bitcoin price falls after the investment, the parents may be more concerned about who will take the responsibility. When an investor gets a good idea about Bitcoin he will never blame others.

Good for the effort but if you check those long thread and you will explain to your parents do you think they will understand?, tons of jargon words have been used I guess if you want to encourage them you must need to teach those things in an easiest way that they can understand like you are having a story tell to a kid that they can relate. Also open up the possible risk so by this you can give them an awareness for losing their money and gaining profits. You introduce to them you are responsible with that money you know how they give all of their hard work to gain that money.
Even if you explain to them the easiest way, the fact that bitcoin is so much volatile, then I doubt if they will end up investing in bitcoin. Parents do not think like Gen Zs, in fact they always want the traditional way of investment rather than those digital means, so it’s really hard to perceive these old adults to embrace and trust bitcoin like we do. Except for some parents who are highly exposed with new innovations, maybe they can be easily convinced to invest into bitcoin, but always tell them that bitcoin price is always unpredictable which means they have to invest with high patience.

They are even hard to gasp the technology behind smartphones how much more on bitcoin, a magic money.

That's the case with most parents who haven't been much into technology or have worked in a field where they would be using technological equipment much because technical knowledge is important for someone to know and understand things such as cryptocurrencies. Some might argue that a person without a technological background might understand them very well but I wouldn't agree much, they might understand but they wouldn't be able to understand it as clearly as someone having a general interest in technology would.

So things like these where you invite your parents to join a project or make some investment in a cryptocurrency would only work if your parents are a bit modern and they have a know-how about things that are used for these things, especially electronic devices.

You will teach your parents that at the time like this, it is the best time to buy when the markets are falling down.
It would be better before they ask their parents to invest in Bitcoin which is very risky, they can first give their parents the best understanding so that they don't panic when they see the price decrease after buying it, of course this is very disappointing for them because they are afraid of what will happen. Those who invest cannot feel any profit and for some people who have a good understanding of Bitcoin investment, of course they will take advantage of this downturn as an opportunity to buy and look forward to making a profit when the price increases again.

However, if they have given their parents an understanding and do not choose to invest in Bitcoin, it would be better for them not to force their parents to invest because of course they have their own reasons or they have felt comfortable with what they have invested in since they were young.

When you do make out those kind of introduction towards your parents about Bitcoin then it would really be not something that would really be that so easy on this case because it would be neitheryou do get that ignored or would be scolded just because you are dealing up on something with those online things on which these old people would really be that only thinking that these are just that scams and not really tending to hear out your part about on the  things that you are really that trying out to explain into them. This is why it would really be something that be situation on this regard. We do know that old people would really be that sticking into those things which are really that traditional and wont really be trying out to touch up something which is really that new into their ears.

On the moment that you would really be trying out to explain something to them about Bitcoin then you would really be needing up that proper introduction on what it is.
Just make it sure that you wont really be giving out any guarantees about sure income or profits because this is where you would really be facing up those problems.  Cheesy

There are already millions of articles that explains everything that anyone wants to learn about Bitcoin, although there are still people that would need guidance to be able to navigate the crypto currency space.  I have a friend that I am helping to do so right now. One thing you have to know is that it is not something you have to force anyone into, just do your thing and focus on yourself, just let them know once in a while and of they seem to have developed interest and would need your guidance, then you can guide them.

My both parents are way above the age of understanding modern technology and for that introducing them to a young age tech like Bitcoin is quiet almost an impossible task and for that one need to understand the generation of the parents before engaging on some discussions such as topics related to modern technology.

Although if you have a parent that are educated and have knowledge and interest on technology, they will always show interest to get engaged with modern day demands which could prompt one into talking them into holding a few Bitcoin as a reserve asset.
