I don't really know if this is also true in other environment. As a little boy, I grew up with the mindset that husband must die before their wife. And this was supported with the fact that there were more widows than widowers. Even if remarried, the number of people whose wife died but remarried is still not comparable to the number of windows who is single or remarried...

Sort of, I think there's a study why men die early and women live longer. Maybe due to stress?

We as men, we're all the breadwinners but life today is different. You have no idea if this is going to be your last day and this doesn't have any specifics because it's both for men and women.

We don't hold our lives and tomorrow as well. We live longer if we live happier and take care of our bodies. But with how the world moves nowadays, you can't tell even if you're living in the safest place and ways.

Why? Could it be because men live shorter lives than women?

Statistics show that men do in fact live shorter lives than women and studies show that it is because of numerous factors. These include biological ones like presence of hormones that are present only in women but not in men. The difference in brain is also a factor to consider.

but the funny thing is if we look at today's society, most husbands die sooner than their wives. i don't know whether it's due to coincidence or not, but from the sources i read, it's caused by stress, where many men prefer to endure all the stress compared to women who are more resistant to stress, and also the risks of work which makes many men are more susceptible to dying more quickly. but whatever the reason, i don't really care about that, because no one knows how long humans will live, we could die sooner than our partners, or vice versa.

The reason husbands die sooner than their wives is because they are under more stress and work harder, putting their bodies through great pain all to earn a good enough living to provide a better life for his wife and children. Also in our society the number of boys who marry is too old they get married at a much older age maybe because of that the number of widows in our country is very high.

Man dies first mostly because of more factor , some of those are?

   -Stress from Money making (because of Job)

   -Physically active because of daily activities from work.

   -Abuser from Vices and related things

there are many but those are the most reason .

and about that question of yours ? not sure about the design because for me there are other
women that dies before their husbands and in my country?  this is not what we believe .

Not sure where have you been and how you grow but I am not sure if i ever heard that Husband must die first before the wife? that is insane belief because we cannot hold our life and it is destiny that we will die.
while indeed that factors says man should die first yet it is still defend on which who are abusive of their body and health to die first or whom to be in accident to cause dying.

There are a bunch of creatures, mostly bugs, where the female kills her mate. Many of the black widow spider females even eat their mate once they have been fertilized.

Queen ants live up to 30 years, while males only live a few weeks.

Male bees only live for a short time.

Here is an interesting thing from Isaiah in the Bible. Isaiah 57:1:

The righteous perish, and no one takes it to heart; the devout are taken away, and no one understands that the righteous are taken away to be spared from evil.

Maybe that's why men die first.

Look at it this way. If the husband dies first, this usually means he has been taken care of in his last years by his wife. But who does she have to take care of her, excepts if she gets a new husband?

Look at the average Life Expectancy. Wherever you look, women live longer than men. Women on average live 5 years more than men in the world and every nations.

The main reasons why female live longer than men is due to their estrogen hormone which prevents bad cholesterol, protecting them from heart disease.

And there are other behavioral thing like, women don't participate in war like men does, road rage and road accidents are greater with men, men drink and smoke more than women and they accept more physically risky and hazardous jobs .

Things have changed a lot or at least in the past of 10 to 15 years, people rarely married until one of them die cause soon they get bored with their partner and get their divorce. The society is built by men for their women so all they do is to give better life for their women, whether it can be mom, wife, sister, daughter, or grandchildren so we take the bullet for them.

This is the facts as you speak volume in my heart, in addendum to your saying another aspects is the blood women loss blood that also help to produce New blood which show also that donation of blood to rebuild new one help to prolonged the body which most men don't engage on and it's not natural occurance like that if woman.

Secondly men are engaged on some physical and psychological hard work tham women that results to shortening of lifespan , despite the global changes many culture has it that men is to produce for the family why woman is to only stay home for caring of the baby.
