I totally agree with you, and there are some people who claims they are our friends especially when we have money and you are spending too but once your money is finished, they will leave you by your to go and meet someone who has money and when you need their help, they won't help you even if they do, they will do that just to mock you or even insult you, forgetting you have once help them, those kind of money need to be avoided and also we should learn how to manage on how we spend our money in order not to fall a victim of embarrassment.

I will never be disappointed with less savings fund in my pocket after marriage. I am a married man myself. OP remember one thing man can't spend money freely after marriage like he can spend before marriage, because after marriage he has to take responsibility for maintenance of his wife. As a result, there is a lot of pressure on him to organize and run his household well even save a little money from it for the future.
And if we talk about single life then we spend whatever money we get from our job salary without thinking about future. People's financial situation is not always the same as we have enough money now but in the future we may not have enough money to spend. Now we have enough money so now I will go out of my way to spend money as I want for no reason then later when I don't have enough to spend but no one else will give me money to spend. I think when we talk of need it depends on the class we belong because no matter how rich we are it can't still fulfill our needs, only few among us are satisfied with what they have and those are the people that are contented with what ever they earn. In this life for someone to save money is very difficult because the income he earn can't cover all his needs but still someone have to try. Yesterday i was discussing with my younger ones tell them that they didn't enjoy like us when we are young but nevertheless its still better that way because then family responsibility are very little, we were staying in room and pallor that is just two rooms and now we have our own house with more than ten rooms but all this is acquired by cutting some of expensive that were surrounding us which we can do away with and still continue with our life.
