You don't end up losing money when the fees are so high unless you do the transaction and you feel regretful of doing the transaction because of it.

If you are playing the game based on the non scalable blockchain like ethereum then it was not a free to play gamefi. The fees will eat you. The better if you are playing the game that runs on the scalable blockchain. I current played the game based on the binance smartchain blockchain. It's 200x chearper than shitereum blockchain which would cost me 100 bucks for any transaction.

They were running not in their own blockchain. How can they lower the fees? that doesn't even matter. The possible thing for them to leave from non scalable blockchain then move to the scalable blockchain. It's called migration.

most probably designed this way to keep users playing. its one of the strategy that even casinos do to make users stay for longer. but with more games and competition in think these kind of issues will soon disappear as more users will prefer to move to games that will allow them to make money.

but this should have been considered already even before they develop the games with the tokens. EOS i think fits the role for the network they should be utilizing if they want adoption. most gamers are kids who doesn't have funds on thier own.

If we are talking about those tokens under erc20 then its normal or just an ordinary day but if we do speak about other chains then we do know that there are really indeed times or moments that network is really that having that clogged condition or tons of pending transactions on which it causing up for the fees to get high. Therefore, if you are on such condition then the only option you are needing to do is to wait up for everything to subside.

You can really make out some calculation whether its worth to make some withdrawal on that point or wouldnt really be doing such thing because it is really that a total loss.

As I understand it, the problem is not the network commission, but the fact that gaming companies charge additional commission from players, thus ensuring profit. And as a rule, the fewer players there are, the higher the fees are charged.

You can still save more coin while playing, that's normal that fees got so high during these days of pumping market. Blockchain network rises it's gas fee once demand continuously increase, the value will also spike as well as the fee of withdrawal.
Trading conversion is automatically charged upon execution of withdrawal, so it's not a new thing and you'll getting used to it from time to time.

If this is the case then the project might not be a long lasting and constructive one. At launch or after some time the projects mostly offer low fees so that investors can get benefit while compared to other similar projects.

This strategy derives most of the customer to the platform while if you do opposite to that it'll take your project and it's investors both down.

The token $DRN of this game has not been doing great in the current market. It reached its peak this year January to $14 and currently it is trading at $4.75 and is available on two exchanges. Any plans for this token to be listed on a big exchange?

All in all, you're trying to introduce your project, I don't really feel the need to come across it especially when someone tries to offer to use their services.

Let's face it, gamefi is still very hype, especially with poor quality products that simply copy the content of another service and label it with blockchain technology.

Let's look at some of the successes of some projects in this field and ask the opposite question why they have so many players without having to spend too much time trying to spread a certain message. The surrounding scope of the field attracts amateur developers to turn the scene into a gaming and crypto dump, but hopefully you will gain more experience along the way.

Most of the games that are free to play or have that concept have their own withdrawal fees.
They're not mostly much because if that's not the source of income they have, they've got the in game structure that allows them to earn commissions from their players.

you want to make your own game that is free you need to create your own blockchain or at least utilize blockchain that is underrated that got almost no userbase so the fee is near zero but then your game won't have any userbase at all.
also, if you make your game free there will be so many sybils that tries to farm your game through the use of those bots, therefore making your coin value deplete overtime.
there's reason why current gamefi always require many prerequisite its because they want to make their economic model works.
without such thing as buying NFT and buying ticket to play the game, the project gonna get valued low in no time.

It is not fun to play games without money, because you can never stop playing games by thinking about this gas fee. If you think about the fees, you can't focus on your game and you can't enjoy it properly but that is if you are a budget/poor player. I'm not a wealthy person but if I think I can earn more later on, I can surely sacrifice some money for the fees. The fun of the game does not depend on its cost but no doubt that some paid games are being given an attention because devs know that they can earn on it later on.

You are right about the ETH network and this issue is not new anymore. Game developers has nothing to do with that and we aren't forced either, to play their games. But like on crypto that we have alternatives for ETH, that also works the same in terms of gaming. We can always go for them instead.

Now, if you are thinking of making your own game, are you going to use an existing blockchain? You should probably do this, since you cannot create any blockchain network yourself.

We know Gamefi requires frequent interaction with the blockchain which costs gas fees, but the current layer 2 network gas fees is around 0.01$ which isn't too much in my opinion. That is the reality of the situation, if the developers behind those coins created their own blockchain instead of just using one that belongs to another project then their fees could remain low, but this will require way more from them, so they take the easy way out and create their projects above the ethereum network, which as we know it can get very congested when it has thousands of projects doing the same, so it does not surprise me that those trying to earn a few dollars this way, find themselves unable to withdraw their coins for a cheap fee.

The incidence of network fee is not what we have been facing now, this has always been, we should know them for high network fee because some of the networks they make use demands for such, we have a good example with the ones on the Ethereum network, we have experienced such a long time and that still remains, only that some times, we can be lucky to see the fee being minimized from the previous.
