You're not sure about that. We always see people trying to compare projects as if they're killers of those projects that are getting the attention of everyone.
They have their own features and beauty and no doubt that this TON project have been in the works for years and now starting to get the traction because we're in the bull run and it's not yet its time. While for Solana, you've seen it grew overtime and still getting that momentum just as what we're seeing with the memes that are built there.

But one must see TON just made it to the top silently, only a few people here shill for it but not actually making it very big like SOL. I think it's still early and we are going to see it taking over top projects.

This is how you know a coin is really successful if projects are comparing themselves to you and claiming that they will surpass you lol.

For this to become a solana killer, there should be reasons and not just pure speculation. To be honest looking at ton right now it does not seem too bad but I think it might be an overkill to claim that this will not end solana. I do see some potential in the project considering how much users use telegram.

I don't have anything against TON, but i fail to see anything meaningful in it. Just bunch of moonbois trying to govern it so that it is going to be profitable for them. That seems like a bad idea to build any blockchain solutions on. Only thing they are trying solve is how to make more money for holders. And that seems like a pyramid scheme 101.

I remember when NEAR protocol was all the rage in 2021 - 2022 when it was heavily marketed as the Solana killer but that narrative never really kicked off and since then, the chain is a shadow of its former self albeit recent positive price growth. TON chain has been doing really well in recent times. Imo, the team should focus on whatever they are doing instead of trying to be the "x killer chain". It's not a zero-sum game. At least, that is how I understand it.

I'm bullish on TON. Tried buying it yesterday and looked for in my Binance account but TON was not there to be found. Quite surprised why TON is not yet listed on Binance and though when they do, TON is going to have a price boost. Bought it at around 5.9ish using Changelly, not a great price as it decreased after that but I'm going to hold it for mid-term selling it at a profit of 50% in hope it's soon going to be listed on Binance. I've used Ton's ecosystem but it's still too limited. There are limited options on defi and the fees also seems to be very fluctuating rising as high as $1. The theoretical TPS is high, hope they'll improve in it.

Solana was called the Ethereum killer and it did killed some market of Ethereum making it one of the most popular altcoin. But there were hundred of such projects that failed.
There are a few things that stands out Ton from the competition. It's development is led by Nikolai Durov, a popular mathematician and Programmer. He  won the gold at all the three International Mathematical Olympiad he participated in. He has multiple contribution to mathematics and cryptography.
A successful career doesn't necessarily mean every of his projects be successful but with the help of Telegram's users and funds, it's hard for it to fail.

Even if there is no chance to compete, you will definitely not see Ton giving up. By now it is entering a bear market into a bull market as you may have seen that its support level has risen strongly in the past few days which gives you hope. RSI reading indicates a strong bullish trend. Looking at Ton's record book, you will see that it is currently at ATH level which is a worthy place to attract more investment. I'm not sure though if it will continue to increase even or if it's manipulation.

I'm pretty sure that TON is really a big project but not sure if it will kill SOL or something to that liking. Imagine being able to overcome other projects just because of users. I mean, yes, they have a lot but I think it's mostly because of multiple accounts as well. I'm not sure if there is a lot of money pouring into it besides its subscription.

Many predict this for tons of coins and if we look at the volume, the market capitalization is fully diluted tons, it is still not too large, but it is quite well ranked and has entered the top 10. If purchases continue to come and many large institutions come in and invest their funds in the ecosystem, it is certain that the increase at the end of 2024 is high, but if not, it will be the same as other large coins.

It is a hidden gem as there were little discussion about this coin while everyone was speculating about Solana. People ask how is it possible that Notcoin can be listed on Binance while TON still can't? This is still a big question but for me one day TON can be listed on Binance or will it come simultaneously with Notcoin?
I remember when a friend advised me to buy TON when the price was $2 but I was not sure then it was still not crowded with its ecosystem but now it has exploded TON was able to reach its highest MC. It is indeed like a hidden gem.
