If it's a spare money then I'd invest in both of them. I think that SOL will be closing in and going to surpass the ATH that it has and for matic, having a price of under a $1 I think is a good buy.

• Use cases
• Community

These are some of my chosen categories for research. It's mostly general and can be easily seen. It's important for me that I see some value that is coming from the users because, without them, it wouldn't have value.

I see SOL as something that could give value even with MEME coins lol.

What are people praising MATIC for? Is it because of cheaper transaction fees or a wider ecosystem? For me it's still inferior to Solana.

Okay, from the frequent prices you can see for yourself that MATIC is more stagnant, maybe it's almost similar to TRX which doesn't have any development, but unlike Solana, which is rumored to be dead because the network is often down, now this coin is able to rise, the price is soaring, the ecosystem is growing more because of memes or several projects in it, I'm not so sure about MATIC.

Currently I see Matic more promising to earn much profitable than Solana coins, comparison with current price both of coins Matic have drop to lower price since success break out above $1,2 last month ago. Matic price right now under $0.7 and dropping more than 40% of the last higher price and believing this coins strong community and get faster recovery to higher price than Solana with currently have been in higher price.
But difference if investing with Solana coins last several days ago when dropping under $120, get faster recovery back to higher price and right now raise up above $150 seems too overate price for reinvesting.
However make your own research and looking both of coins Matic and Solana which one faster make recovery, take opportunity if Solana return back to lower price is right moment to buy back.

Both Matic and Solana are good coins and according to my opinion both should be held to take benefit from the coming altcoins season. Sometimes people don't understand what coin should be held because both coins present success in such a situation that an investor should divide his selected amount in both of them.

Solana and Matic both are beneficial investment assets but Matic is very lower in price therefore people often wants to choose it to make larger profit by Investing little amount but I think Solana performance is also suited well so we should not ignore it's success and should take advantage from both of them.

On the other hand, you can take the cheap price for now and accumulate as much as you need right now. Solana has been very profitable but at this point in time it is also very expensive. At least for me.

Matic’s price right now will allow you to accumulate a lot and then see profits later on when it breaks its ath.

if you could envision that MATIC will soar high in the bull season, buy more of MATIC, i think you will not need much funds to make a huge profit for it compared to having SOL which you can only have a few SOL with a budget of $1000. with MATIC, you can have more than 1000 MATIC which with a 0.50$ increment of the price you profit more than $500 already.

it's just the time when it will happen because MATIC doesn't look like the price could just spike every time BTC grows $1%

I would love to invest in Matic becuase it has not yet shown its real color, on the other hand Solana seems to have reached its full potential during year 2024 and, now it look stable around its current level. Matic still has room to grow 4X  from its current price to surpass its previous all time of $2.92. Given the advancement happening in Matic network, experts suggest it can make new ATH of $5 in the next anticipated bullish market.

I would choose Solana without any second thought and I feel it's the government to Altcoin for this bull run and we the best part is it's yet to break it's previous ATH and if that happens this time then we would see some massive pump and we have already seen potential of Solana but the only thing which bother me is the shitty memecoin projects which are launched in SOL network.

as for me, yes. and maybe for some of us who are more conscious about profit. SOL and MATIC to me are not very different actually. they are both just a network providing layer 2 solutions, MATIC however is just not getting much support after all, the team developing the project is from India AFAIK.

but if they get more support as well, i think the price will not be so very different. SOL is even more vulnerable than Matic since it has more downtime.

The current price of MATIC $0.7067 and the Solana current price is $151.53 and when you compare the two you clearly see that Solana is in a good shape to invest and that is when you are looking from the market cap and the two which is nearest to the next all time high is Solana but when we consider other factors like cheap coin to buy then MTIC or Polygon will comes in and it is good to invest for coin that has a cheaper transaction fee.

Solana is among the top 5 coins in the ecosystem but the fee is high so I think matic is in good position for now. But it is a personal choice.

Solana has always been one of my best altcoin and for the time I’ve known and invested in Solana for the short time, I’ve made some profits from it and this is the best altcoins I will always pick before anyone else. Even today, I will still pick Solana ahead of MATIC because I’m not looking at the current price of them, but the future price of each of them and what I stand to get if I invested in them from now. MATIC is an also a good altcoin and have a very strong team behind it and with no doubt, it is going to be a coin that will also do well in the bull run. But I’ll still prefer to invest in Solana first before investing in MATIC.

Now I look at it and I can say that SOL is the better one, I am sure that MATIC is still good for some people and I can say that it is not a terrible one but it is also not as good as SOL. Because, one thing that makes a coin good is their blockchain and the amount of projects that works with that blockchain.

Right now, we are dealing with SOL getting much bigger, both its blockchain is a lot more successful and breaking records but also we are seeing how a lot of new projects end up being in the SOL blockchain as well, making it more popular. This is why I believe that it is quite important to focus my money into SOL instead of Matic. At least that is why I have been invested a bit more to SOL, maybe I am wrong and it will be a terrible idea.

Yeah, considering that it has pumped all over the first quarter of this year. The price of Solana compared to last year was already high. But that's what people likes to do, when a coin has already pumped, that's when they are starting to buy. Still, whatever is your pocket can afford to buy, buy them.
