Please when you test your code, ensure it is, at least, able to find greater than 32bit difficulty shares.
Many people who make miners don't bother to do this (e.g. Apollo) and leave that up to the people who pay them for their miners to do it for them.
(which is culpable negligence in my opinion)
Cgminer has code I added to verify it can find shares at any difficulty, so the software at least can be verified.
While of course cgminer has already found the majority of blocks on the bitcoin network, it is good to be able to test a 'new' compile of the code on any hardware and ensure the difficulty calculations do not overflow/fail.
