Hi, thank you for your message! I just thought it would be a fun little challenge for myself. I am not betting with money I cannot afford to lose, but yes, medical school is very expensive where I am from.

This is actually a bit crazy to say, couple with what requested and again saying you can afford to lose that 0.05 btc it is like trying to say that you have sufficiently enough to foot the bill but you are just trying to fool around here to keep discussing with you. To me there is no need for this topic if you think 0.05 seems pretty too poor for you to lose why don't you clear you tuition fees without having to gamble to increase your btc to 1.7btc knowing to well how gambling works.
And besides there is every possibility to easily sweep off your account since you are placing too high stakes, 0.025 for just a single game, why not go lower like 0.0009BTC to win 0.0015, with this strategies it could difficult to easily empty your account just like that.

You're betting too high already OP, I feel like you can probably do some brakes on the amount that you're putting in, 0.025 is such a big loss so I don't know how you can continue doing that kind of bets in the future, you also probably don't want to be relying on these bets to pay for your medical school, that 0.05 could probably fund you here in the first year of your medical school, maybe even have more pocket money because that's already a lot of money. Is the 1.7 btc for the whole time you're going to be in the medical school? If you can get to 0.05, you can probably do it again until you get to that instead of just gambling it all away.

One year costs over $30,000 here. So 0.05 BTC is not enough for even one semester.

I understand you but Irrespective of how much it costs, gambling your way there isn’t a good plan. It’s too much risk to take because you can end up with losing the money you’d have used to solve other problems, yet not going to the medical school.

At least, gambling is not a solution to make money, especially if he use much money. It seems he wants to make quick money from gambling but it's difficult to wins on gambling. He must realizes about the risks so he doesn't have to takes a high risk to bet on that amount. He can reduce his bet and slowly to wins and who knows, he can wins with his knowledge. Playing gambling doesn't mean you can make money with fast but you can lose your money with fast so you must thinks more to use gambling to make money. How about works as part time? I guess that can gives him salary and he can used it to invest in Bitcoin while waiting for the price increases. But if he still wants to try, we can wish he success to make more wins and much money so he can pay his study.

If you want money for something important I don't think that puting your money on gamble is the right way to make it work. Gamble is not a place that you bet and have a free mind that you are going to win, it's a game that is won by luck, and guest what, you must be lucky to be able to win a bet, no doubt that if you bet with this amount of BTC you won't be able to win but I am not wishing that. Don't bet because you want to make money, for you to win, you have to remove your mind on winning because most times you keep your mind on winning you might not win.

I was astounded when I saw that the OP bet the other half of his money, something that everyone advised him not to do, and my first thought was to check how the match ended. I'm sorry for his loss, but the OP proceeded to not listen to anyone's advice. It was reckless to lose 0.05 BTC in just two bets, and it's a huge shame to lose such a large sum of money. Hopefully, he learned his lesson, and he'll be more careful from now on. I'm curious whether or not he'll find more money to deposit in order to gamble.

It would be better to look for medical school fees from other source that is not gambling. I am wondering how medical school can be very costly like that. But you did not state the exactly school fees but your target.

Fees in most medical schools are always expensive but i don't think this is the best way for op to raise fund because gambling is very risky,  and if he is thinking on winning the game he should also think about what if he lose the game. Gambling is better when you play and not having any reason why you are playing so that if eventually you lose it won't be a painful lose.

If you want to use 0.05 BTC to win 1.7 BTC, you need 34 odds. That is very difficult to achieve. The chance that you will get that is small but the chance that to will lose the money is very high.

This is very risky, gambling is unpredicted. I believe the amount of money that he wants to use to play bet is not the amount he can afford to lose. I don't expect people to depend in gambling to solve critical issues. If I were him I will look for an alternative how to get money to complete the fee other than depending in gambling.

Some people failed to manage well their expectation and they think there's some easy methods they could able to do to earn fast cash. But majority of those people will realize once they experience the hardship on actual since they realize how hard to earn something especially on gambling especially if they are so aggressive to earn because they want to multiply their money as fast as they can since they use their winnings for their school fees or anything they are using it on.

Much better for OP to pack up since he is already in negative situation and just what you have said much better if he just seek a part time job since this is more realistic way on how he can sustain his education. When they know that they already failed, they must not repeats the same thing instead checking what they did before so they knows how to fix the mistakes. His last login date is the same time he made his last post for the second bet. I doubt that he will be coming back for more since he is saving for his meds school yet he might ended up working on McDonalds full time if he keeps doing this kind of high risk gambling using the funds for his study.

Worst case scenario is when he took a loan and gamble again in hopes to recover funds and at the same time reach the target profit. I’m surprised that have the luxury to gamble this funds while he is badly in need money for his future.

It must not be easy or cheap to pay for a medicine course. It's usually the most expensive of the educational areas available in the market, doesn't matter what country you are from. However, I must say it's not through gambling that you are going to make your dream come true... At least, since it's all about probabilities in gambling, there is a major chance you aren't going to fulfill your dream this way. So, why not put this money you are risking into good use?

If things don't look favourable for you in the present moment, use the money to educate yourself in another professional career. Find feasible alternatives which can proportinate you a good and promising future, and once you reach there, who knows, maybe you can finally start a medicine course without having to risk all your funds gambling, without any assurance it's going to revert any good for you.

Gambling is for entertainment, and not for students willing to pay their school's fees...

Yeah, because gambling is a highly risky activity but I think he is only trying his luck here and it is seems fine for him if he can't go to a med school, just in case he got a bad luck. But i think you have a better chance if you add 2 games on your bet, known as parlay, it would be easier to get 2 games with +2.5 Goals than getting 1 game with +4 goals. And you would get the same multiplier in the end.

A good way that i have learn to win big with sports is by betting on UFC and selecting the winning method, my last nice bet on this way was Max Holoway winning by KO, and that one pays x7. So, it's a nice way to bet.

Thanks for the insight! I don't know much about UFC so I'm not sure how successful I would be. But I will definitely look into it. I've always thought doing parlays was -EV but I understand your point. For the Scotland match I could have gone with over 2.5 goals for lower odds, but I have a habit of going for bigger odds.
