please tell me, is it now possible to mine satoshi using a laptop?

Laptop mining is a thing of past! Now you need to buy mining rigs to be able to successfully mine a block. Otherwise you will end up burning your laptop but won't be able to find a block.

If you have a good laptop with you with great cooling system, you may want to try some CPU mineable coins like XMR. That will give you better success than bitcoin mining.

Again, laptops are not built for crypto mining.

Sad to say, but no, it is possible that you can mine using a laptop, but it is not worth it. Profit in mining depends on how powerful and speedy your setup is, and even a high-end laptop cannot do that. I mean, it is not worth it to mine using a laptop because it could not be profitable, and you will only waste time, electricity, and the device itself because, for sure, your device life span will become short because a laptop is not built for 24/7 operation, so expect that you will only break your equipment.
If you really want to earn from mining, then accept that you need to invest quite a bit because you will need high-end equipment in order to maximise the profit, and you will also need a lot of patience because you will need some time before you can see a profit, so yeah dont consider laptop.

Thinking about Satoshi mining with a laptop is a fool's errand. No matter how powerful the computer is, this is not possible. Bitcoin mining requires very powerful full hardware machines, which are very expensive. It will take a robust net and cannot be leaked. If the hash rate can't generate more, then it won't. ASIC and S19 are expensive, so they will not be without them. Although some minor alternatives will come out in keeping with the modern world, they are not out yet.

It is not possible to do it with a laptop. If you start, it will show that your laptop is burnt or damaged, but you will not get any results; it will just be damaged. If you want to do mining, following an alternative method without a laptop will be better.

Try starting bitcoin mining on a laptop first. It will most likely be mining other coins, but the payouts will be in bitcoins, like Nicehash does.
A new laptop won't break quickly, and in my experience etherium mining on laptop graphics cards miners had one in ten laptops break down in the first year.

Using the CPU or GPU of a laptop?, no.

But you can buy an ASIC miner that can connect to your laptop, like the Compac A1

You can then run cgminer in your laptop and you will be getting sats.

Technically possible but unrealistic. Furthermore, all that you will achieve by mining on a laptop, is ruining your laptop before you even see any kind of mining profits. If you want to mine, then get the right hardware for it. As many people here have already told you, buying an ASIC is your best bet if you are serious about mining.

If you just want to try out mining for the learning experience, then a laptop will do.

Still, is there a software that mines and prints out all the number and visualizes it - just asking from a learning point of view. Maybe something that hashes, compares throws away and all this is shown on a log.

Does anyone know of such a software?

I don't know of such mining software. But i expect it'll be very heavy process since an ASIC perform billion or more SHA-256 per second.

Yes, but for the purpose of learning wouldn't it be enough if it would even calculate a single hash in a second and show the comparison to the difficulty? Show which attributes will be included into the hashing, show how the nonce value is incremented since the comparison of the found has is larger than the difficulty. For me, these steps are clear, but I for example still don't understand what shares and what the network difficulty in a pool means. Maybe such a software, with verbose logs/output could help understand it.

Thank you for answering

While yes it is possible to run the mining software on a laptop, you won't receive any BTC from doing this, maybe in early 2010, but certainly not in 2024.
