Can we assume that there will be a zero interest rate policy again in the future? I am 19 years old, am doing my IT training and would like to invest in real estate afterwards, but the costs would otherwise be too high.

I don't think so.

The real estate market is where the government and the banks are earning a lot of money in the long run. But possibly, there can be some scenarios that will be in favor of what you're thinking but I don't know how it can be.

They can lower the interest rates but I doubt it that it is going to be zero interest rates. Or maybe some incentives that they can give for a few months but not entirely going to the pit to zero.

Real estate just get more and more expensive as time goes by. If you are hoping for a zero interest rate then it probably means your country is in an economic crisis. You better hope that even at a crisis you are earning a lot so you can at least take advantage of the downturn situation of your economy.

this probably won't happen, because banks and the government make profits from interest and they won't be able to issue regulations like that.  even when the government provides subsidies to customers, they will still be charged interest on the transaction, so there is no need to expect too much that banks and the government will not introduce interest in the real estate industry.

real estate is the place where the value and interest keeps growing each year so sorry to break
your plans  and hopes but there is no such thing as zero interest rate policy .

and for why you are asking here in bitcointalk forum when this place also offers more valuable
investments and profitable than real estate?

try not to fall into the same mistakes mate and instead of targeting that area of investment
better to deal with what we have here in this market.

that's right and when time that the country is in economic crisis and that is the big opportunity to invest in everything that has expensive capital because once that the economy rose back then that will be the time to take profit .
but hope that he will have that chance once he graduated and have that capacity to invest that i believe will take 5-10 years from now.

In the current scenario the global economy and the state the domestic economy is going through investing in the real estate sector is right. At the rate the population is increasing, the amount of land is not increasing but the demand is increasing every day. In this situation it can be assumed that the amount of habitable land will be much more.  then if the demand is too high then the price will go up as the supply is limited. And every day every year money loses its value due to inflationary effects causing prices to rise. Even if inflation is adjusted for land prices will have already doubled after 10 years.

This depends on government policy and is tide down to the resources of the nation, if a nation has so much resources that they don't want their citizens to generate some fund as interest rate they can either reduce it rate or remove it entirely but it can only be through subsidy because private sector such those who operate on bank as there business may not continue if there is no interest because that us the only source of the earning to pay their worker as well run the affairs of the bank.

But it's not possible for removal of interest rate because no matter the resources of the nation this rate is always a major source of generating more fund for the nation, just as it's not possible for a nation to operate on zero taxation though it can be cut down but can't operate on zero tax.

Is it even a thing?

Technically zero interest loans are not possible even for one year and real estate loans are generally long term like 10 or 20 years and I don't think any bank really offer zero interest rate for such loans.

Real estate has always been a good investment but we can't expect the growth of real estate investment to stock or crypto.

buy yourself a nice house in a 3rd world country(i.e. indonesia or more precisely bali during covid) that's developing or one that's in crisis today (argentina?).
not an easy thing to do because not all countries allow foreigners to buy, and if they do they have special rules (thailand, indonesia) or taxing.
time for you to do some research... and maybe travel a bit?

In the Philippines, as far as I heard, they allow foreigners to buy condos. Not bad if you're looking to invest only and not a place where you'll stay at.

not sure if this will be valid for you to expect , what I do believe that it will take you some years of waiting and if this will take you another years  before that training and investing comes? surely zero interest will not be coming your way.
why not consider invest in crypto instead ? because in this place you are now and can find what are the best for your money and make profit.
