FTX has submitted file to the court to highlight the financial situation of the company, which provides some hope to the customers to pay back their money with small bonus.

If the creditors get back what they deposited then it's good and also they started the claiming process a long ago and still no one has given anything back means it's going to take forever to get the funds.

I saw this news last week and they said they would only the qualify addresses with some percentage of the funds they lost even though it is not all at least small amount will enter their wallets. And this a  good move. And if FTX successfully pay back the customers money then the next move is to relaunch the exchange again to a a maximum way and it will come back with or as strong project in the crypto community. Though people might be afraid to use their services but at time goes people will start using it when they see the genuineness of the project.
If any company repay the money customers list in the project or the service and it comes back again then that project will do well.

This is what most failed exchanges and scam projects do especially those who are involved in a Ponzi Scheme project after they already get what they want, all they are doing is leave some managers on their social media group to keep their investors updated but they don't keep any remaining promises because that's their way to fool them and it's part of the process on getting away from their investors and holders slowly until all of the social media pages are dead including the Telegram group. This is sad because those investors are still hoping to get back their money but they see nothing except false hope from these kinds of failed exchanges.

he has parents who have friends on top so that's going to be something that the judge would consider. and then there is a deal with those celebrities which he is about to snitch as well. that deal may make him a good citizen and probably will shorten his sentence. i couldn't be sure of this but there ain't no reason for him to rat out those guys but him also benefiting from it. besides, SBF didn't really do all these. Gary knows this kid is just a kid. they know someone else decides on FTX affairs.

Even if it's true, the policies are designed to benefit the one who committed the financial crimes instead of the victims' thanks to the policymakers.

The money could be recovered one day but it's not gonna happen over night or in next month it could take years.

i don't think the clients are inserted to know what will happen to him anymore. what they wanted to know is if they could get back their coins. they were once happy hearing the exchange will be relaunched but those guys are just not going to do it.

in some articles, they were saying they'd pay in full + interest which is cool but other articles are just saying FTX will be paying them in fiat during the time off FTX collapse. which means because, at the time of the collapse, the value of BTC was around $17k, the creditors will get such an amount also plus interest. 
this is just like confiscating the coins and paying them what it's worth at that time.

The game is real here, Sam Bankman is connected to so many influential people so all this promises to pay back the funds even with an extra as compensation is just way to get him on a platter of getting out of governments hands or to escape the consequences of this actions.

Well I see reasons why a lot of us lost hope in a centralised authority like the governmental bodies that can receive bribes and forgo the bad effects of an individuals action.

Exactly and that is why we should believe it when they have started the disbursement of the funds to those accounts then we will believe that they have payback the customers who lost fund in the platform. And for now they are just saying it as audio. And I don't believe this story because FTX went down to bankruptcy and the founder is in jail. Is he back from the jailed term? Or is it his co workers are planning to payback the customers?

I heard this news early part of this year if I am not mistaken and nothing have happened and we are still waiting for them but to understand things they might have the mind or plan to payback buy funds might be the problem for them.

I’m not providing any details due trust issue and security purposes, I will also provide my details once they started sending it but for now I have to wait and see first if this is true or not. FTX was a total mess, hope they are really paying every user and bring back their money.

This just definitely said in the hopes of boosting morale. We don’t actually know when it’s going to happen but they keep saying it will. I do hope that the victims get back some of their funds and as quickly as possible.

It’s high time to just ignore what they are saying and wait until they actually distribute the allocated money back to their clients.

It should be at the current price or the amount of btc they are holding. Its not fair if the price will use im fiat is the one those times during that time it is bear situation even so their holding is in altcoin. Hence the computation must be negligence and only gave them the amount on which they are holding. Like if a guy holds 0.5btc he must be given that amount 0.5btc not 0.5btc worth in 17k in fiat thats bullsh*t.

Be careful, while this payback is true on FTX's end. There will be a lot of copycats and scammers that will try to phish innocent users thinking that they've been part of it.
But if you happen to remember that you've never been part of the FTX issue and you have never made an account there, these emails are likely phishing attempts from the database that they've collected elsewhere and are trying to ride the issue.
So beware about such.

Anyway, for the adventurous people who are laughing out loud at what's going on around information, I have a few friends who shared their plans to approach FTT because they think there will be new flows. Information like this will push its price up and they will also make a profit to somewhat ease their losses with FTX.

Although I am not the victim in this story, I find it a sad development, but it is nonetheless true that things are revealed that let us know of Sam's manipulative behavior, even though perhaps what he and the team behind him are paying for cannot fully compensate the victims.

     It seems like last year I read something like that about SBF returning the funds, and it doesn't seem like it happened, and now here is the same news about him. Maybe it's better to just report that matter if it has been refunded.

     Because if there is an intention to refund when nothing has been started, it seems that in the past people were conditioned to believe that SBF was a good person. It seems like that is what is planted in the minds of the readers, which for me is not good. This is just my opinion.

I doubt those who lost will ever get their money back. I have read in the past that FTX was planning to refund the money. As of now it is just a speculation and there isn't any concrete evidence available that says it will happen. I hope that SBF rots in the jail even if they refund the money that they stole.

Honesty this is just too funny everyday I do see on the news about the payment of customers funds by the FTX team.
This is just to convince the court that they are going to pay customers which we don't know when the payment would be.
There are so many customers that had believed to have lost their funds since the team keep promising people of paying them their money. This is going to be a long payment and I think the court has to ensure they pay the money first.
