Your story can be true or can be fiction but I assume it's true, it is still not recommendable to repeat by others.

When you have pressure to get money, and you know that you will need to have that money in future, like next 6 months, next 12 months, you actually have pressure. This is not good for you to use your money and make any decision for investment or trading.

Your story can be a coincidence with the market time that changes from bear to bull but if you have similar story in 2021 or 2022, your story ending one year after your entry can be different, loss not profit.

Hopefully that you didn't get all of your bitcoin out of your wallet to help your father, you might need to leave some in case the price goes up again, it's probably in your best interest that you do that and keep investing in bitcoin, it's a really good thing that you got involved in bitcoin when you're still a student, that way, you've got a foundation in investing knowledge and financial freedom.

Examples like these shouldn't encourage every newbie investor to take the same steps, selling a property or taking money from their parents and investing it in cryptocurrencies because the stories can't always be the same and the results can differ for different individuals based on multiple factors but mainly the price at which the assets were bought and to where the market heads after that. Your story would be different if Bitcoin had dipped instead of going up after your purchase.

The moment I read the part where he said he invested the $2,000 dollars into bitcoin with his father’s permission I knew he was all BS. I was also wondering what those ponds are, maybe they grow salmon or seabass in a fishing farm dik. Most off them when they talk to each other they just use the term "ponds" but usually it's just a small hole for regular people. What they mean actually is a fish farm as huge has a hectare which his father developed his entire life making a living with it.

Anyway this story of yours will really make many people interested in investing in Bitcoin. If you could show us some evidence (in the form of pictures) of your success, we might be more inclined to believe it.

If indeed you bought $2000 worth of Bitcoins at the time you mentioned then you might have been able to make a huge profit from the investment when the Bitcoin price touched the new ATH. We saw Bitcoin price drop a lot in September 2023, if I'm not mistaken Bitcoin price may have dropped to $25000. You bought Bitcoin then which was a coincidence. Being able to return your father's property through your investment profits is a good sign for you and something you should be proud of.

Let us just assume it is a true story and congratulations that you made it profitably on your investment in the Bitcoin market. But I must tell you, that your friend gave you a good advice that you should invest on Bitcoin, yeah but he failed to consider your family would no more have alternative source of income to earn living and for that, you would be tempted to sell it off just for the sake of essential needs such as medical, consumable and your educational aids.
He failed to consider the risk involved with the volatility potentials of Bitcoin which is not a get quick rich investment platform.
