Hey, FOLKS!!

We all need some clarity as the topic of decentralization continues to linger in the air. We've all learned the word, but for some reason, we resist integrating it into our daily lives. We still haven't learned how to build together. Something inside us keeps finding new reasons to sever the connection between us.

And guess what? After delving into Vitalik's article "What else could memecoins be?", an idea sparked. What if we take a meme coin and morph it into a decentralized global project, serving as a conduit for the collaboration of all humanity...? How does that sound... Cool?

Let's dive right in. While browsing the internet, stumbled upon information about a competition with autonomously driving, electrically powered vehicles called Roborace.

According to Wiki, Roborace was active from 2015 to 2022. In May 2022, the company that owned Roborace confirmed that they were no longer continuing the program, hoping to find alternative funding, as reported in an article from May 19, 2022 "Arrival writes off Roborace autonomous racing company". The official website roborace.com is down, with no new activity anywhere… quite sad, really.

But competitions like this could be a breakthrough boost for all humanity. By changing the management and development structure of the Roborace program to decentralized, people could come together around the technology and use it not just for racing, but for everyday life, something that car manufacturers are trying to do alone.

Further from Wiki: All participating teams used the same chassis and transmission, but they had to develop their own real-time computation algorithms and artificial intelligence technologies.

Here's the question: What if we choose a different approach? If humanity wants to transition to autonomous transport, why develop competing software when the vehicles are part of the same movement process?

We need a universal basic technology that will be a standard for the whole world.

The world can no longer continue to evolve in constant intrauterine competition. Technologies must be a collective asset and developed collaboratively. Linux proved that. Similarly, the autonomous driving algorithm should be developed openly by everyone together.

There are many open-source autonomous driving algorithms being developed by various institutions and communities online. All we need to do is bring them together and introduce an element of decentralization. And as we've seen throughout human history, games and competitions have always served to unite and interact different peoples and cultures 👉🏿👈🏿.

Roborace will serve as an excellent platform for our endeavors. And the meme coin category allows for some degenerate acts, such as borrowing the name, logo, and starting to use the work that was already done during its active period. Moreover, this phrase, "but they were hoping to find alternative funding," perfectly reflects what's brewing here. Sure, if they want to join, the doors are open; the roboracers community welcomes everyone!

But we'll all have to give up centralized control, as well as various federations, organizations, and other forms of elitist groups making independent decisions to serve their personal and political ambitions.

It's time for humanity to agree to plebeian cypherpunk decentralization. Perhaps we've all grown up already and are ready to realize the benefits of sharing, right?

The mission must be clear – this is not done for self-aggrandizement; it's done to unleash the cooperative creative spirit of all humanity. The goal is to organize a global decentralized community focused on developing an open-source autonomous driving algorithm that does not belong to any individual, organization, or group that would have ultimate control or benefit over the system.

Alongside scientific and technical progress, the development of culture and entertainment lies at the core of human nature. Therefore, it's also the community's task to continue developing decentralized competitions and championships with autonomous electric vehicles.

So, Roborace is a simple ERC20 contract that cannot be adjusted, changed, or upgraded by anybody. There are no devs or marketing teams. There are You – devs, and You – the marketing team.

To grasp the concept fully, owning $RBR involves active participation in community development. It means taking responsibility for growth and dissemination, and, most importantly, becoming a degenadept and brother-roboracer to others like you, the brother-roboracers. If the community desires something to happen, everyone must begin putting in efforts with their own hands. It's that simple.

The token's main function is to encourage participation and facilitate the mission-sharing of Roborace. By continuously expanding distribution and adding new holders, it establishes a more stable structure, easing individual burdens and reducing vulnerability to volatility. This simplicity is the key to success. There are no hidden agendas or gimmicks like artificially contrived, futile token utilities burdened with incessant gas fees.

To kickstart the momentum of progress, cultivating a supportive community environment is essential. Luckily, the implementation process isn't overly intricate, as numerous enthusiasts have already paved the way by actively crafting various features and algorithms, and sharing their advancements online. All that's required is to gather these components and fuse them together, while also engaging enthusiasts in collaborative efforts toward the shared objective of Roborace.

Effective communication within Roborace is paramount, but it doesn't involve inundating groups with stickers, memes, or irrelevant queries like “dev when?” Instead, it entails actively seeking out valuable information and studying documentation, engaging in meaningful discussions within the community, and establishing new connections to effectively present the concept of Roborace.

Identify and gather all prior work completed, reaching out to everyone involved or indirectly connected with Roborace and the development of autonomous driving algorithms. The web is teeming with valuable resources waiting to be tapped into. Stay connected with these people, share insights, and foster mutual collaboration.

Many details, regulations, and standards applied in previous work may need revisiting. This should occur through constructive debates with in-depth analysis of all information and correction of mistakes. Remember, no one should prioritize their interests and go against the principles "For the People" of the crypto world.

Spreading awareness about Roborace on a global scale is crucial to ensure that people worldwide understand you and the mission Roborace embodies for humanity. Every roboracer plays a vital role in disseminating the mission and promoting the concept of collaboration on a shared open-source platform.

Steer clear of dalliances with metaverses; Roborace ought to leave its imprint in the tangible world.

Avoid complicating life with DAOs, voting, and other emerging decentralized bureaucratic complexities that sap all motivation and creative fervor. Do everything for the sheer thrill of it.

There's no need for unnecessary new blockchains or additional superfluous layers; there's an abundance of those already. Let others delve into that arena. We are Roboracers.

From here on, the community takes the reins and decides how, where, and by what means the distribution will occur. Avoid putting all your eggs in one basket and strive to keep the distribution as decentralized as possible.
