Memecoin Gambling verses Normal Gambling - which is more profitable?

This is something I've been thinking about for a while now, I thought it wise to ask here to see what you all think afterall.

Anyone who truly understands what investing really is, would or will agree with me that investing in memecoin currently, most especially on the Solana and Base blockchain; have become a gambling on its own, I've tried both normal gambling, and gambling on memecoin on the Solana blockchain, and I can't really tell, which is more profitable.

What I know is that, I lost on both, I placed bets on some sports games, I lost most and won a few, and just few days, I decide to try Solana memes, I lost all the money I used as capital for buying those meme coins, I lost all same day.

So, I've brought a few questions..
1. If you are into Solana meme coins as well as; engage in normal gambling, which has been more profitable to you?
2. Assume you are not into any of the above, which would you prefer to get into if you are asked to choose one? And also explain why..

I do not engage into gambling my money with the purchase of shitcoins in the Solana Blockchain or within in any other Blockchain for that effect.
If it is a matter of choice, I think I would rather to continue to partake in normal casino games than risking money with shitcoins, there are more changes to get a little bit of profit with casino games, while with memecoins or shitcoins who needs to have a very good sense of timing the market, added to the selection of the coin itself. For every coins with actual potential to bring profitz there are other one hundred coins which are made as scams from the very beginning, in my opinion. 

To me it simply does not make sense to go and wast money on those memecoins/shitcoins. By losing money on those one also encourages scammers to continue to launch coins.

I think it's simply a matter of seeing what their purpose is with that, because if it's looking for more money, it's almost a trap when the chance of winning is very low.

Some creators try to change the concept to attract participation. Essentially, their own always wins.

I find it quite simple, if you consider it a game then enjoy the things that game has, even the story of memecoin in the cryptocurrency space cannot fully explain why the combination of a few things makes people forget that it is no different than searching for a grain of sand in the desert. Anyway, everything has a chance, even if it is very low, but in the face of greed, many people still have the illusion of making money easily.

I might be biased as I know that there is a lot of meme coins including Solana, but I don't deal with them, so I guess my answer will be gambling.

2. Assume you are not into any of the above, which would you prefer to get into if you are asked to choose one? And also explain why..

I think I will still be gambling, as least I have total control on what team I'm going to bet if it is sports betting. As for luck based game, chances to lose are high but there are still that element of luck and who knows, maybe you hit the jackpot. And even if you don't win, perhaps you get your money's worth and enjoy and have some fun. As opposed to investing in meme coins, maybe you can't sleep at night thinking about your investments are clearly it could be manipulated and then waking up seeing all your money went to drain. And it's going to be very hard to swallow and accept that you have been played by this pump and dump individuals.

You losing on both of them isn’t about the medium of gambling but about your choices and luck. It doesn’t matter if you use memecoins or you gambling in store or online, it’s the selections and predictions you make that decides if your money comes back to you.

For me I’d say that both options work. If you have memecoin, you can go on with it. If it’s fiat, that works too. It doesn’t really matter.

Well, you cannot say you gambled on Solana meme coin, although we often say that altcoin investment is like gambling because you don't really know when the token will be pumped or if at all the token will even get pumped. For the record, you cannot really compare investing in altcoins to gambling because if you purchase a coin or token, you will still have it in your possession until any year the token gets pumped, or you can just sell it off and recover some of your money, but if it is real gambling, once you stake $100 and the game goes against your prediction, you cannot recover the money at all. Like I said before, if you invest, you can quickly sell off when you are running a deep loss, but in gambling, you cannot cancel your loss; once you are in, you are in, bro.

There is nothing more profitable if you don't have luck in gambling. No one knows when we will have luck in gambling. Instead of gambling, it's better to invest and save the meme coins you have until the price rises.

But when you say investing in meme coins is a gamble, it could be true because we don't know when the meme coins will increase. I use bitcoin and stable coin like USDT TRC20 to gamble. Bitcoin during bull market and USDT TRC20 during bear market.

I will not prefer to use solana meme coins because generally I do not use altcoins to gamble than the stable coins. I do not like it when bear market will come and their price will start falling significantly.

If you are in a bull time after a significant bear market, that is the right time to buy coins and that will be the right time to buy the meme coins. But after a significant bull run and someone mistakenly buy the meme coin, it can be a regret because the person bought it at the wrong time and the price may begin to fall massively.

Gambling is not a way to make money and people should not gamble because they want to make money. Gamble for fun.

Hmm, I've only been lightly doing investment stuff in meme coins, so I can't really judge which is more profitable than the other. In terms of frequency then I'd definitely say meme coins, I mean that's my goal, to profit. For gambling I usually ignore what happens with my bankroll. As for which I would prefer, it'd depend. If it's profitability then definitely memecoins. If you can time it right and get lucky enough, it's pretty easy to see a minimum of 10% profit even for some meme coins that have been released since long ago (looking at you Pepe). Unlike in gambling where the odds can be controlled, and there's really no cycles of ups and downs to it.

But if you're just going to choose a coin, just go with Bitcoin or any top altcoin. Idk why you'd want to gamble on meme coins lol.

There is no direct answer to that as the abilities of each person are completely different, if I had great poker skills and I was forced to pick between playing poker and taking my chances with meme coins, then poker would be my pick without a doubt.

However if we are talking about a person with no superior gambling skills, their best option would be meme coins, this is because over the long term the chances of that gambler making any money are almost zero, while the chances they may have with meme coins will be slightly higher than that, however if a person was really interested in becoming an investor, I will never recommend them to invest in meme coins.

If you are referring to the case of something like trading of meme coins or stable coins I would say it depends on the persons level of experience and also ability to analyze. While meme coins are very volatile ,they are often accompanied with the problem of huge loss if the trader's analysis is wrong and also a huge profit if right. However stable coins on the other hand have a thinner risk margin so although the profits aren't as huge as that of meme coins, the risk level is far lower too.

Also when it comes to placing bets in online casinos a majority of them make use of Bitcoin and a few popular altcoins including a few stable coins like USDT. The reason why you classify meme coin trading as Gambling is because of the high risk usually involved more like staking a huge amount with high odds and thin chance of winning.

Just like some other persons I have also lost money on meme coin gambling fortunately the lesson I learned from it is that if I want to mess around then I should only use 1% of my portfolio for that. Just like in a regular gambling where we chase losses in meme coin  gambling we also chase our leverage loss by trying to increase our leverage.

Stick to regular gambling where you understand how it works. Deposit money, pick you game, wager, gamble, win or lose, cash out if it is a win and try another day , log out and try another day if it is a loss. No stress. As long as you keep to the rules.

Gambling is the same except that when we are in bull run every single coin can have a better value and can make us play longer sessions compared to bear run when these coins are of lower value and can make our sessions shorter.I have never gambled with Dogecoin or Shiba for example which are meme coins and I have always used the major five coins,the ones I call the major five,Bitcoin,Ethereum,Ethereum Classic,Litecoin and BNB.I suppose nothing is different in such meme coins except that when you hit a max win with these type of coins is much lower in value compared that max win if we hit it in Bitcoin for example and that is the reason I do not prefer meme coins to gamble,they can make a max win look really small  .

Although, I gamble but not frequently because I feel like I'm going to get used to it easily because I once tried and saw how vulnerable I was to it then I took a break.

I would choose gambling on casinos or sport betting than gambling with meme coins. Although gambling is gambling it's all luck but I like to make my actions concrete and precise so I would choose gambling on sport not memecoins.
As long as I'm not a memecoiner and I don't understand memecoins I wouldn't wager on what I don't know or understand how it works. Memecoin has a complex system that one has to be strategic but when comes to gambling on casinos I just chose a football match stake what I can afford to lose and I'm done compared to memecoins you will have to connect one wallet to another, different kind of things before you can act on it but in normal gambling those stress are minimal.

Probably normal gambling given how volatile and intense the price fluctuation of memecoins, you'd probably go for the normal betting since you don't see much movement in the prices even if they're volatile. Probably the only upside of memecoin gambling is from the fact that when you win, it looks like you're winning a lot because you're betting hundreds of thousands of them at the same time and winning a lot when in reality, the value of those memecoins that you've bet and won are probably just $1 or $5. I'm not that into gambling in general anymore but if I am hypothetically gambling, I'd probably be sticking to normal gambling, I don't want to risk those memecoins that will have a possibility of suddenly pumping up in prices because they look so tempting to use for gambling.

I am done investing with meme coins, it's too dangerous. Rug pull can happen anytime or it can fluctuate so deep that there's no saving the invested money anymore unlike how it is with other coins. Meme coins turn to dust suddenly and can be of no value in a rush.
Yeah, I'd rather gamble. In sports, there's a high chance you can double your money or maybe a bit less than double. But, you will have to know your game and I think most men have an idea with sports.
I've bought meme coins before and I just got lucky that I sold them when the value doubled, that's Shiba Inu way back I can't remember anymore. But after that, as I monitored most of the meme coins, most of them are just riding the hype and there's really no use case for them so better to just stay away with them.

Maybe separate the thoughts about comparing meme coins investment and gambling since they have different activities done.

But since you bring this topic here I guess its more risky to invest on meme coins since once you already bought your tokens then maybe everything will became a questionable since we don't know if we have chance to earn especially if the owner of those meme coins is a notorious scammer then maybe with their project we might don't get any chance to earn since for sure they are the one who will dump first their project or they won't bother to add bigger liquidity on their token when this will be added on exchange. But in gambling we  might get different result especially if we aim for fun since everything we do can give us satisfaction especially if we really enjoy those casino games.
