Why not temporary ban coinmapai199264?

Coinmapai199264 periodically and often come day after day and post unwanted posts about coins. Only what I noticed is that his posts would be deleted but his account is left unpunished. This person is here on this forum not to contribute anything good but to spam in creating unwanted topics. Why not just give him temporary ban? If he continues after the temporary ban is over, you can give him permanent ban. I guess that he will prefer the permanent ban because he will likely continue spamming after the temporary ban is over.

The moderators can dish out a temporary or permanent ban only when the offense committed by the user involved is satisfactory enough to meet up to that kind of decision, I think for now, he has been enjoying the grace of having deleted posts, I believe that one day, something will still push him to commit what will attract having a ban on his account, after all, everything he is posting could be accounted for using ninjastic thread, let's just keep reporting till he finally landed himself where he never expected, there are many other members like that yet to be discovered.

Moderators don't like to ban users anymore, even someone get caught plagiarism, there's a chance that they won't get banned.

Spamming only make your post got deleted, sometime the moderators let the post to stay. So, if you expect they will give temporary ban, I really doubt it.

I also haven't see someone got permanent banned due to spamming in the recent years.

That dude needs to be given an award for the best spammer on the forum. Sorry scratch that, I mean he gotta get some temporary ban or something. He sees the forum as some personal blog and what he has failed to understand is that no one is engaging his posts because of how off point it is. It's not cool at all. If he's not going to be called to order at least those posts should be deleted.

What's the point of Tem banning the user when, if you ban him or her, he can just come out with another account, create a new one if he already has others that he uses for shilling, and continue the spamming? Moderators are just deleting the post where necessary.
 
Deleting those posts and not banning him is just like keeping a close eye on him. Instead of passing through the stress of trying to detect the new account, which he might come out with again and start spamming the forum, he should already be on the watch list and ignore the list of members who are actively either reporting his posts or avoiding them.

Keep reporting his spam posts if you want his account to be banned, either temporarily or permanently.

First offence: 7 days
Second offence: 14 days
Third offence: 30 days
Fourth: Permanent ban

Years ago, there is an account that spams a lot in gambling announcement threads against many casinos with many invalid accusations, but was not banned. Finally he was banned temporarily and the permanent ban is likely because of doxing.

Spamming and shilling at the same time is not allowed in the forum because it has zero value post most importantly that he is just duplicating thread. You can use the rules below as reference.

AFAIK. There is just a minimum threshold of spam post before user get a ban punishment. I don’t know exactly what’s the exact amount but a frequent deleted post will surely result to temp or perma ban.

He is a newbie, probably excited being in a forum like this. It is up to the forum users to call him to order and guide him on how to properly participate in the discussion here. Maybe the mods are giving him the opportunity of getting assistance from member of the forums and not dishing out judgement for something probably done in ignorance (although he was supposed to read the forum rules first).

I can tell with certainty that if that user continue in that habit, he will be nuked sooner than later because there is no guarantee that the mods will be this patient everyday.

If more than one moderator handles those reports, I assume that it is possible that not all mods are aware of how many posts have already been deleted. Therefore, instead of reporting each post individually, report one post and put post history in the report description, where it will be visible what exactly that user is doing.

BPIP shows 45 deleted posts, and I don't think that user will do such things on the forum for a long time.

He will just have to create a new account and continue his Spamming. I do think most times that the moderators know very well what they are do, and how they do it. Since creating of a new account on BTT is very easy, temporary or permanently banning them would not even be a punishment at all. It would only give them encouragement to creating more accounts and continue, making the job harder for moderators. So by the deleting their post, moderators would be able to monitor the account any time they post a new spam and just delete instead.

OP if you are wondering why this user is still on the loose, you should take a look at the Emmybit001 account. All he does is create unnecessary topics and never go back to reply them. I have reported a couple of his topics, the mods only delete them. Even when he was caught plagiarizing twice, he still was not banned.

He should just get a temp ban, his account should just be nuked. His sole purpose is to spam about his website using AI text. I reported him in the AI spam reporting thread, but nothing was done to him, so I gave up. Maybe mods are now way more lenient. I don't know for sure.

64 posts as of today to be exact, but that has not stopped him from his continued spamming.

In my opinion, I believe moderators should not entertain some idiocies for too long as it could be very annoying and embolden the perpetrators as well, nevertheless, the graceful time is a good one to show members, especially the new ones. But the grace is supposed to be getting lapsed with 3 offences of similar kind, which should have attracted at least a warning.

After that, I see no reason why an offender of senseless posts should not be slammed with at least a temporary ban to make him more serious.

He shares interest in some coins and dissatisfaction with others, and it's notable that other members haven't responded to his posts. At most, a temporary ban for a few weeks might be warranted if his posts are deemed excessively spammy.

Even if we don't consider those posts as low-value posts, the user in question has still violated the forum rules.
The user is posting links to a certain website in all his topics and is doing kind of advertisements. That's againsts rule number 24. I agree with OP. The user should be banned.

Temporary ban? After looking on his deleted posts[1], it's classic example of SEO spam which has been growing[2]. So IMO this user should be nuked immediately.

Is nuked only apply for newbies ?

For higher rank members, their accounts will be banned, temporarily or permanently, not nuked if I remember right about nuke.

Lauda as staff member had the ability to nuke newbie accounts that potentially could generate plenty of sig spam and account sales at the time they ranked up. If you exterminate the problem where it starts (newbies in this case), then eventually it will lead to a cleaner forum. Who's going to nuke these accounts now? Exactly... It's party time for account farmers looking to expand their farm gang.

That won't work, only Newbies can be nuked, and Mods aren't going to manually delete 1000+ posts.

After writing, I check the account and see it is a newbie. Sorry for this confusion because I saw he made many posts and I thought he is not a newbie. With many deleted post, now he is a newbie with only 2 posts.

Deleting those posts and not banning him is just like keeping a close eye on him. Instead of passing through the stress of trying to detect the new account, which he might come out with again and start spamming the forum, he should already be on the watch list and ignore the list of members who are actively either reporting his posts or avoiding them. 

For members with this spamming nature it doesn't take much time for old-hand members to put them on ignore list to save themselves off his constant shits. It could be that it hasn't come to mind for  Oshosondy to put himr on ignore that's why he keeps coming across his posts. What Oshosondy should do is adding him to his ignore list, for when his cup get filled the mods will do justice to his account.

For moderators to be regularly deleting his posts then it's obvious they have observed him even before this report for temporary ban.
