After ETH ETF, now it's time for ETH ATH?

We've seen Bitcoin hit it's all time high a couple of months ago after it was accepted as ETF for the traditional market in the US. There were different obstacles and controversies about ETH ETF or what crypto coin would come next as ETF.
Yesterday SEC has approved exchanges to list ETH ETF which are a special fund whose price is pegged with Ethereum price. It enables a lot of traditional and new traders to trade Ethereum (Ethereum based value) without the hassle of on chain transactions and easier way to manage the taxes. With new investors rushing in, ETH price is going to get a spike and would probably reach an all time high which is near 5K soon. How early do you think would it happen?

I would say not too long.

Many have been waiting for this though not as long as they have waited for bitcoin’s. Some people me included thought it was going to take a longer time for sec to approve eth etf so I am sure that this will come as a shock to everybody which could possibly trigger a price surge soon enough.

I don’t know about it reaching the new ath just with this news alone. That’s gotta take some months still.

Haven't been unaware about this, so I needed to ask, Op was it a proposed project to the SEC yet or it has already been approved because if approved then it should be expected to take shape any moment soon but if still on considerations then the fate lies in the future to determine by the SEC.
It's a good step for Altcoins too atleast ETHs market move wouldn't be determined being subjected to bitcoin value after the project is launched. This would also sound a challenge for bitcoin to buckle up so as to remain on top of the AltCoins in both values and services.

Yes Ethereum etf has been approved and the news is all over social media platform. I read somewhere that only some portion of eth that was approve for etf but am not sure how true that info is. People are speculating spike in price of eth soon. It may not be immediate but i believe eth price will shoot very high following this approval.
This will also affect other alts price as well, btc and eth etf got approval this year, it seems 2024 is going to be more interesting moving forward.

It's tough to pinpoint exactly when, but with the approval of an Ethereum ETF, I wouldn't be surprised if we see a spike in ETH's price relatively soon.
The excitement from new investors could drive it up. But I don't know, only time will tell.

it looks obvious already that it will also go up, it will just take time before it will go to its peak.

and there were also speculations that CFTC is going to take over the regulations since, tables are turned which ETH is not gonna be considered security anymore and all other cryptocurrrencies are assumed to be commodities as well.  we're going new heights even the altcoins sooner.

Nope, ETH ETFs approval will not change anything.

It was few days ago when ETH price increase due to ETF approval, that's when people should sold their ETH and then buy the dip right now, if you think ETH price will rise like BTC where the price increase after few weeks, it's just in your dream.

To know if ETF approval really affect ETH price, the price need to break the previous ATH and when BTC didn't made new ATH. If BTC made new ATH, it means ETH just following BTC market.

Right now the price of ETH is in decline just like the other altcoins and bitcoin.
We had seen a surge in ETH price recently which was definitely due to the ETH ETF approval news.
I guess people have already bought their positions in ETH and are just waiting for the price surge to happen now.
But it is going to take some time while the exchanges launch the ETFs and then the investors start buying it.

The ETF for ETH is not there yet and I think it's quite obvious that we are not going to see it anytime soon neither, we shouldn't really consider that as option and we should definitely get to a point where it is going to mean something. We are going to end up with a result that will mean something, and shouldn't really be all time high just yet.

Plus, we are going to see 2025 to be a bull year based on the four year cycle, the halving happened already and after halving all goes up. Could we see ETH go to it's all time high? We may, but will it be just because of ETF? I do not think so, that shouldn't really increase it all that much, I do not think that all that much money would go into ETH, because it is not like Bitcoin which is top ranked.

It reaching all-time highs "soon" would be too easy, isn't it? What I like about markets is it wrecks people who are overly optimistic about a price target/reaction. I think it'll take longer than most people expect; with not much inflows at the start as most people expect.

I can't really tell the exact time but we must also learn from the last bullrun if it will always be coming at the end of year. We are still at the Q2 of this year. Don't rush. We will have a golden momentum when crypto will be going so crazily like a few years ago.
Bitcoin is very stable at the current rate. It shall become a very good thing for all of crypto holders at this moment. Im still patience enough waiting for the end of this year.

The $5k prediction after this SEC approval of the Ethereum Spot ETF is too low at least it should be at the rate of $7k -$10k and the price should continues increase like bitcoin did it own. After the approval of bitcoin ETF, the price of bitcoin has been in good condition till now. And if bitcoin decline to $17k again now, people would not complain that they loss from their investments because almost everyone has benefited from the bull run and All Time High.
But the last time when I checked Ethereum, the transaction fee is getting better so people can invest now before the price increase to the predicted amount.

When someone sells, there's someone who buys. So, there's no such thing as everyone being in profit even if the price declines. The profit are made by those who enters at the right time and leaves at the right time and regarding crypto, the one that have patience on what he believes in and hold till he's in profit.
What we have to admit is crypto market is no longer an ever increasing market for every coins. It makes the choice more important than ever.

It was actually interesting when I read it on the thread here in the forum and to be assured I went on research and found it was truly approved. I've also read about it on https://watcher.guru/news/sec-approves-all-spot-ethereum-etfs.
Indeed this'd as much bring more expansion to crypto adoptors as Investors would experience two phases of ETFs. The approval of this great implementation has emerged two phases of ETF events in the Crypto sphere.

Before August imho. But i hope it will retrace from there to make a huge cup and handle formation starting from 2021 to almost ensure moonshot. Or at least it would be perfect storm for it. And God know where the next ATH would be.



And this time it could actually surpass the bitcoin with marketcap, given that bitcoin chart won't go to insanity moon mode. And i recognize that every time people thought ETH might be surpassing bitcoin it was almost end of the bullrun, dropping ETH more radically then bitcoin.

But this is what we were waiting for and if huge bullrun doesn't start from here, i am not sure if it would start at all. Fundamentally speaking, we have perfect conditions for it now

I have been hearing from a very long time that Ath is near and ETH will sky rocket after the ATH approval. But the thing to ponder here is that the BTC was expected to perform really well after halving but the results were contrary to that.

Now let's see what ETH will do after the approval. People are claiming that it would reach 10k after the approval bull shit. In these market condition BTc has failed to Perform then what's the point for ETH to Perform.
