Actually in as much as becoming a gambling addict is bad doesn't mean that they don't win a bet at all, on the contrary they always win there bet most times but one of things that distinguishes them from normal gamblers is there mindset and the inability to control there emotions when it comes to gambling, so actually you are right on the question because the way they talk about gambling addict if you have not actually seen someone who is an addict you would hardly believe that they win there bet sometimes.

Yes but one of the reasons why an addicted gambler always loses control is because the initial symptom is that they are always unable to accept the fact of losing, and also when they win they are also always difficult to stop the game and this happens because they cannot ignore the greed that is in them so it is only natural that addicted gamblers are always faced with downturns such as experiencing a significant number of losses, and I would say that it is natural for them to experience because after all it is all due to their wrong treatment of gambling activities where they prioritize activities that should be made as nothing more than a place of entertainment.

It is not true that addicted gamblers cannot win at gambling. But most of the time it is shown that addicted gamblers win, they end up not being able to hold their winnings. There are many gamblers who have won big despite becoming addicted but it is clear to see how many addicted gamblers have been able to keep their winnings. I win a lot in gambling but if I can't keep my winnings then my results are zero. People who gamble have a latent desire to win big and use the money from that winning. You are completely wrong and as such, I disagree with you, winning or losing in gambling has nothing to do with whether the gambler is addicted or not, luck does not know who is addicted to gambling and who is not, both addicted and non addicted win accordingly and based on who encounters good luck and when.

Being addicted means alot,it means loosing on something or winning as well but literally being entitled to a particular thing that pushes you to take some certain decisions and steps just to keep it going.

I am not addicted, the reason why I said I was wondering why is because, people talk more about the ill effects of gambling addiction without acknowledging that gamblers who are addicted are also wining even while they remain addicted.
