So I think he should take the time to learn what bitcoin is, what cryptocurrency is, basic concepts like decentralization , non custodial wallets , centralized exchanges...he shouldn't rush to buy bitcoin or into trading without basic knowledge. If he buys bitcoin now or rushes into trading, it will only make him lose money faster without bringing him any benefit.

OP, there is a lot of beginner material right on the forum that you can find on your own or can easily be found on YouTube channels . You should learn the basics instead of diving into investing or trading .

I hope that you will not be able to watch a youtube video that's all about shilling their new projects. That's what most of the tutorial nowadays.

And after that, you will be guided by them on how to buy that specific token instead of how to buy Bitcoin. Start buying from known exchanges in your country and not with any other global exchange that's not operating in your country.

If Op doesn't have friends who understand cryptocurrency, where will he ask if he doesn't understand? I don't think there's anything wrong for beginners to look for things or knowledge on social media like YouTube, I think it's quite good for finding information. Anyway, OP asked to buy Bitcoin, there's no way OP made a typo when searching on YouTube. I think op thought about it how to register on the exchange.

I am not denying that Youtube is filled with lot of misleading tutorials but it won't be that hard to find the actual simple tutorial to buy and trade on an exchange either. And it's not rocket science either, all you need is just an email and KYC documents for verification the only thing is he needs to end up an actual exchange instead of clone sites cause there are lot out there pretending to be reputed exchange.

Learning about own a wallet will not too difficult as long as they wants to learns from many sources. They don't have to buy a hardware wallets if they don't have much money. They can use their Android phone to install the wallet and learns more about that. He can learns from many videos available on Youtube and that will no needs to long to understand about how to use the wallets. He can moves to the next lessons which is how to have an account on the exchanges and he can learns that from Youtube. The key here is we wants to learn more and more than other people so we can have many information that will useful for us and knows how to do.

Many newbies have a hasty investment mindset because they are afraid that the market will increase in price and they will miss the opportunity, but this is a wrong mindset. Bitcoin and cryptocurrency are a financial market and they are always moving 24/7, so there will always be opportunities for us and it is never too late to invest. The important thing to make profit is not to invest early or invest late but we need to have knowledge. YouTube will give you a very go idea into how you go about crypto and trading related things but one thing I know is that the knowledge you get from there may not be wholesome and you may end up making mistakes trying to use the knowledge you got from those videos on YouTube and the procedures you see there because some of them are just snippets to lure you to registering for their mentorship programs and probably purchase some.of their educational materials too, so total reliance and dependence on YouTube lessons for proper knowledge in crypto and trading may not be your best bet

Getting a good mentor who's doing it well and it's evident he or she is doing well trading or investing in crypto is such persons you should pay to get their knowledge and then capitalize on it to get the best out of cryptocurrency and trading, any other thing outside this should be your trying to improve over time on your knowledge you have acquired already. Self development isn't bad tho but it will take longer coupled with too many mistakes.

All expert trader are came from newbie but they continue trading and never give up even if they experience lose and now they become expert because of so many bad and good experience from thier trading works, so for me if we don't stop learning or if we just continue we will surely learn on how to trade just don't hurry and you will surely learn, because there is a lot of video tutorial from different social media channels, youtube, facebook, twitter, etc., you can start by looking some video tutorial then get learning.

Am not a good trader as I even a loser but what I can advise you is to seek Mentor if you wanted
to learn Basic trading lessons as there are lots of them in the internet now , just make sure to never let
them handle the funds for you meaning never give them any single amount aside from the mentorship fee.
because trading in Youtube University is really hard to gather information that will lead you to lose
in the time coming .

And put in mind that you need to learn before earning, don't run fast in making money because there
is a time for that .. focus first in your mentors advise and of course your own research over the internet
as they are all available at time.

Exactly, we can notice how many influencers in social media are scattered and promoting their services by flexing their luxurious cars, houses, and simple luxurious lives, but in reality, that is just the good side. We all know that those influencers mainly got to that level because they attract many newbie traders that will avail of their services, and by then they are earning from them, but some of those influencers are scams or just copying contents and trading signals to other channels. Notice in Telegeram, that's where most scams lurk. If you join different trading groups in Telegram, you will notice that there will be a channel that has the same and exact details in the signals that they are providing. By then, it will be difficult to distinguish which is the legit group or scam. Anyway, my point is that I felt bad for those newbie traders that got inspired by those scam influencers and will eventually lose money because of the wrong guidance in trading, so wannabe traders should have the traits to become cautious and careful in order to avoid scam groups.

The best way to learn trading is by doing some basics coursers from YouTube or any other legit website like Udemy etc and then you have to practise those skills at the trading platforms.

Most of the platforms gives demo accounts where you can easily practice your skills but I'll advise you to put some money and then play with your skills. The more money you'll stake the harder you'll try to convert them into profits. In This way you can easily polish your skills.

Easily Binance, without even thinking about it for a second. I understand people could have other preferences, just because I like Binance doesn't mean that everyone has to, I could be the only one. But, the point for me is that Binance is preferred by a lot more people than any other place, which means that world mostly agrees with me on this. My reason for Binance isn't because binance is great or something, my reason is because others prefer it, so I prefer it and we keep growing.

If you want to prefer something that less people use than Binance, then that is your own decision and you are free to do that, I am sure it will be fine, Binance has the risk because it's at the top and being attacked for it, but I do not worry about that.
