Bustabit no longer allows bankroll investors/participants unless they follow the new KYC rules implemented by the new owner.

They stated they are following legal advice therefore cannot be blamed however they are not asking game players and previous bankroll investors to send KYC. Their KYC rule is specific to new bankroll investors only because they will not allow investors from restricted locations.

At the moment, bustabit and bustadice are two crypto casinos without KYC. Btw one thing that gives me hope is web3 casinos.

-snip-
Finally I was able to withdraw now, BTC arrive, confirmation email arrive and payment was done quickly, no F2A activated account Smiley
Sounds good to you - but I'm curious, do you get a delay on the confirmation email or is it sent immediately after you request the withdrawal? I don't have an account on freebitcoin - that's why I'm asking you.

Meanwhile - I still found some other users complaining on the freebitcoin ANN thread. The problem may have been resolved for some users - but perhaps not for all. What's unfortunate - no representative came forward to explain what the situation is now.

I got the confirmation mail instantly. Also reaction of the website was different. Before it was not doing anything when I click withdraw.
After that there appear the message confirmation mail sent and it really arrived instantly. When I withdrew everything was smooth last week.

That's what it sounds like when the service is working normally. That's why they gained a certain reputation and were considered reliable.
Still, it remains a mystery, that's why it was difficult to publish some information about the status of the service. Upgrading and correcting errors are not bad things, on the contrary.

KYC is going to be a mainstay in the crypto world at some point. Governments aren't going to allow people to make a dime and them not get their 9 cents of it.
Unless there is a huge pushback by crypto enthusiasts, it seems just a matter of time before crypto casino/gaming and KYC become synonymous with each other. Whether it will be because various governments want their share via taxation or because they want to keep tabs on various blockchain transactions and link them to a particular individual, KYC will probably go down the route you described.

I don't use freebitco but have kept up with the drama. I messed around in the past with them and get emails now and then. Is everything back to normal with the site?
Right now we simply do not know. Their previous forum representative was moved over to focus on other matters and a new account was created to assist with queries and to provide updates but many in their thread are not happy with long periods of silence. In the meantime there are some newbies claiming they no longer have issues withdrawing whereas some are complaining the issue still exists as well as complaining about waiting for days for customer services to still reply to their emails.

Do online crypto casinos really have any kind of relationship with the government? I think that the casino license asks and allows them to demand KYC from customers. Since there are people who will give up on winning because of KYC requirements, casinos use that as an advantage. Not every casino but some really do.
Has there been a moment when any government asked any casino that the user was probably a criminal and the KYC verification helped them to identify the criminal?

I strongly believe that crypto casinos formally hold Curacao or Costa Rica license and they aren't regulated by any government. If it was, then 1xBit and its sister sites wouldn't exist. I think that there are far more rights in favour of crypto businesses and users are left without support, instant exchanges are a good example of that too.

My account i will never retrieve and my fun witch was saved for 3 years will probably be gone in 1 week. I guess i supported the russia war now. Nice support i had this account for years. Just 1 Lucky hacking  russian is enough.

- If "changed email, password", how can you see that they didn't steal the fun?
Did they change the email and password using a vulnerability on freebitco.in (on server), or did a virus exploit a vulnerability on freebitco.in and change it on the device?

The site now seems to be having issues with crediting the daily "free spins" users are meant to get for holding FUN tokens.

There's a recent post from CSFBC about what you mentioned, so maybe that can explain a bit of your concern about why some users aren't getting it. The team is working on the issue, but they ask all users to be patient as they work hard to fix the issue.

Here's the quote:

Hi All,

Please note the issues with the WoF spins (mentioned in my previous post)  are still ongoing.
We are aware of the issues and although we do not yet have a time frame for a resolution, our team is still working hard to resolve this as soon as possible.

There has been an increased volume of customer contact which may impact response times, saying this we have worked hard to ensure every email regarding this matter has been responded to.

Please note any updates will be posted on the forum.

I understand this is frustrating for many and hope to have a resolution very soon.

Best Regards,

Customer Support Team

Do online crypto casinos really have any kind of relationship with the government?

They do because if money is being traced, Quin said ages ago they would supply any information demanded to give a money trail for that cash.    I dont see how they could not do that much and expect to continue existence.

BTC isnt money officially
but in a world when official cash is such a weak standard, government will always be in some contact with global sized companies and FBC is one of the largest of its type so I presume they are involved by necessity.   The implication being if you didnt comply you'd be in danger of messing with sanctions or terrorism fund sources, public funds embezzlement all flavors which make it so all bets are off at that point.

If this goes towards solving the problem (I guess), what is the status of their signature campaign?
The manager paused the campaign, but I assume that he had some more direct contact with them or even managed the funds for the payment of the campaign.

Has there ever been a case when the government demanded that information from the casino and the casino provided it to them? Nothing comes to my mind. What happens when someone deposits illegal money, gets forced to fulfill KYC requirements but doesn't fill them instead and all the money is left in the casino's hands? What will happen if no government contacts a casino about that money? Will casinos take that money in their own pocket?

If this goes towards solving the problem (I guess), what is the status of their signature campaign?
The manager paused the campaign, but I assume that he had some more direct contact with them or even managed the funds for the payment of the campaign.
I asked their CSFBC about the signature campaign and didn't get any response. I think it was TheQuin who was behind the signature campaign and now since he is extinct, they won't continue the signature campaign. Freebitco doesn't have a bright future but I can't talk about their sister sites.

As of today I tried to reset my password and I received the email to reset but upon clicking on it,
Quote
I get the Sorry, this link is incorrect or has expired. Please make sure that there are no spaces in the link or request a new link and then try again.
Anyone with the same problem?

To good understanders: Support has a new email:

fin@freebitco.intercom-mail.com
This looks more like very cheap scam or phishing attack, rather than new support email. If this is real, why they didn't announced about it themselves.
I hope nobody will be stupid enough to send their personal details to this email.

Unlikely scam because it came in answer to support request made in oficial channel.
