I have seen new investors being carried out by seeing the success of big bitcoin investors. But , this is wrong approach in my opinion. Because, I personally feel that most of the people fail and they will never share their story. So, most of the stories that new guy searches , he will find only good success stories. But that is not correct overall picture. One should keep the limitations of crypto in mind as well. What is your opinion about this ?

It's good to listen to them though, Bitcoin has change a lot of lives in the past but anyone doing it right now is either a big investor that has invested hard currency on it, or gamble with some funds do futures with good profits or the person is lying entirely. Bitcoin still has profit efficiency but can only do that when you have a large amount of money involved. You can't invest $1k dollars now on Bitcoin and expect to write a success stories on the internet tomorrow.

When you see such stories, take it as a motivation but don't build on that storyline because if I'm to be honest with you, to hold Bitcoin isn't a child play, there is a mixed emotions that comes with the journey of the profits you will make, today you are up and with some profits and then tomorrow you are down. However, this can be limited if you invest or buy in bear market, that's when everyone don't have too much interest in buying Bitcoin and mostly cheaper.

Well, I don't think that the success stories of Bitcoin investors are a bad egg for other new investors, although it depends on how the information is being digested by the new investors. A success story is meant to be a tool of motivation in a positive way, not the other way around. This is what these scammers want to happen since they usually post their success so that they can take advantage to those people trying to get out of their struggles in life. They want to sell some hopes to people to get something from them and usually I see this on MLM's or networking scams which they always flaunt their wealth's so that they can invite people to their scam programs. Newbies need to be aware on this and they should never entertain any unrealistic information they can get. They should know that not everyone can get the same achievement and also they can't fasten up their result. That's why they should be more real for theirselves and think about doing more realistic work which can give them real time benefits. Success will all matter to us and not by other people if those people want to succeed then they should exert some effort to became an expert on their craft but this people should think about that there's no shortcut to make it happen more faster but it need a lot of time before success will come to them.

Investors should always be aware of the risk whenever they invest, there are always two sides of the stories what most of them are telling are always the happy ending, most of them forgot to mention about the challenges, struggles and temptation to sell everytime the price increase.
We as an investor should be aware of everything not just the profit but also the risk of losing some money from our investment.

Op if you understand cryptocurrency and bitcoin in particular,  you will notice that the success stories are also part of the process to motivate people in the investment o bitcoin and it is not a bad thing and the same time there threads also warning investors to be careful whenever they are investing. There are some stories that I have seen and hers that investors lost a tremendous amount of bitcoins in the industry so all are part of the investment process. Bot the good and bad are all in the industry so whatever dealing with cryptocurrency be careful and patient.

The success stories may be cooked lies and cap but I will choose to believe in the lies than not because that's what Bitcoin does for people. The only drawback right now is Bitcoin can't give you that time of profits it has gave people in the past. Where someone can make 5x in a year but this year alone, it has not been able to do that and I'm not sure if it's even possible to happen. It will need a lot of liquidity and money to pump Bitcoin to that high to give instant 7x or more.

It is only a new investor that will be carried away by some kind of success story of a bitcoiner, although no matter your level of experience in the digital asset market Bitcoin precisely, there are some some success stories that can move you if care is not taken, as for me I already know that Bitcoin investment is not a bird of roses so I don't get too excited when listening to success story some bitcoiners, no matter the story I hear, I already know that Bitcoin has not changed from being a volatile asset, there are things they I know thats inevitable in Bitcoin, the twisting of stories to make Bitcoin look like once you invest you become rich immediately don't move me anymore as far as I know, the only aspecr am always interested in Bitcoin is the continuous accumulating and hodling for a longterm to achieve a desirable goal.

I don't think you need to look at that type of stories, just just need to look at the charts: I don't know the exact percentage but since right now we are at $69k I would say that at least 95% of those who bought bitcoin are making some money. It's not easy to have an asset where everybody is up. Success stories can be an inspiration, that doesn't mean you'll succeed as well but with bitcoin maybe, if you have the right mindset, you have good probabilities.

I agree with you. We often hear stories of people's lives being changed by Bitcoin and we often get interested in Bitcoin investment which makes us more interested in investing in Bitcoin. Day by day bitcoin is becoming popular more and more people are self-employed and many are changing their lives through bitcoin investment. Surely bitcoin can change our life or our fortune if we can invest bitcoin at right time. But if we are too hasty to invest in bitcoin or think of becoming a millionaire overnight then it will be our wrong decision surely bitcoin will change our destiny but it is right time. In this case, we must have a long-term plan. If we can invest patiently with a long-term plan, surely we can change our fortunes through this Bitcoin investment, and seeing our fortunes change, 10 more people will show interest in Bitcoins.

That's an interesting hypothesis. Overall, I feel like people usually share their negative experiences rather than positive because we tend to dwell on the negative in our lives.  Think about how often you wrote a positive review to a place where everything went alright and how often you wrote a negative review. But people also feel ashamed for losing money and for making mistakes, so this case is somewhat different. I think I've seen roughly the same amount of positive and negative stories with Bitcoin, but I agree people shouldn't jump into investment because it worked out for someone else.

In my own estimation, I think that investors are more likely to share a story about a loss than about profits in bitcoin. Their stories of loss are everywhere on the internet - on blogs, forums, Twitter, Facebook, and other social media platforms. And they do it for two reasons which may be intentional or not. They are, to garner sympathy from the public and secondly for it to serve as a example to new investors to carry out a thorough research and understand the market before they make any investment. I would say that for security reasons most investors unless the big ones are very hesitant to share their bitcoin success stories.

On the contrary, I feel most investors always come online to discuss their success stories, I hardly come across investors on social media who come to talk about the loss, though their are pockets of them that do come out but not as to be compared to the success stories. Why we see inflow of new investors, is because of the success stories they've been hearing about Bitcoin investment, success stories has a way of spreading itself. Once there is one success story  about a certain investment, it has the ability to counter 10 failed stories.

You can't even start to imagine the amount or even the level of people that have been lured or draged into the crypto space because of all this over hyped success stories of people around them and the most is all those social media claims of big time crypto trading, I mean these guys make it look as if trading is some kind of easygoing act that probably anyone can make it without even knowing the full gist and struggles around it. The first few lines you said are good already and there is no need for them to include the later part. If only they are like that, then it is only going to be good. You know that the success stories you read are genuine if there is that ugly part or the part where they struggle first before they get successful. Even though some of us read it clearly, we are still overwhelmed and forgot some things later on.

It's like there is no real difference when they read the fabricated stories that only presents the good part. But may these posts of us here awaken them. It is only for their own good anyway, while if they still don't, well it's also no problem for us.
