Does everyone understand that, maybe not. As the saying goes, "habit is man's slave". If you develop good work habits it will bring you benefits but if you develop bad work habits it will definitely put you in danger.

We should never develop the habit of gambling because if we develop the habit of gambling we may become more addicted to it. Because there is an opportunity to earn money which can create greed in us. Whenever greed is evident in a person he will become addicted to gambling again and again and will develop gambling habit which will become his danger. So we have to develop ourselves in such a way that we do not have the tendency to gamble constantly and even we do not become addicted to it.

We normally wake up between 10 am to 11 am, it becomes a habit once we catch it, but if we have to wake up at 6 am due to work pressure, we will try to wake up at 6 am. At first it may be difficult for us to wake up at six in the morning but when we continue to do the same thing every day, this work will become our habit and at certain times it will be seen that you have woken up before six in the morning.

Likewise if a person feels that he will make gambling his habit then he can easily do so. But if he does the opposite he is getting addicted to gambling after gambling but if he thinks that he will change his habit and form a new habit then he can. No task is impossible our will power is important. If our intention is right and if the will is right then surely we will succeed in reaching our goal. We need to take seriously the fact that gambling is not excessive and we need to make sure that we are able to gamble while keeping our emotions under control.

Honestly I don't know why they don't think in this direction, but it should be like you said that learning from other people's experiences or mistakes should be included in one of their plans to become a better gambler and know what to do and what to avoid.

On the other hand I am sure that there are some gamblers who do do that in the sense of making other people's experiences and mistakes as learning materials, but that is only a part of them, and one of the reasons why other gamblers cannot or do not want to make other people's experiences as learning materials is most likely because they think that it is not something important to pay more serious attention to, maybe they think that the big losses experienced by other people happen because the person is unlucky, without them knowing that there is actually something that triggers the situation such as greed or inability to control themselves.

Therefore, I would say that we don't have to be afraid of committing mistakes because this also helps us to see things that we need to change and become a responsible gambler.

But people should try as much as possible to avoid mistake. But if mistakes happens, it helps someone to learn and become better in life. Some failure can even be a blessing in disguise. Some people may not become successful if they do not face some mistakes. But just like I have said before, we should still try as mush as possible to avoid mistake. Some gamblers will make mistake and continue to make that mistake again and again which is called gambling addiction. That is bad.

We are very emotional when it comes to gambling and we like to take risks here because we think that if we bet more we can win more. Admitting mistakes is the first step in rectifying the mistakes. Many gamblers would never admit that they are gambling with the wrong attitude. They won't agree that they are spending extra time in gambling or even they are spending extra money. Unless gamblers isn't made aware of these things, how can they change themselves???

By the way, i don't see anything wrong if a gambler is doing mistakes, but if someone keeps on repeating the same mistakes (that causes monetary loss too), then this is like suicide for him.

I tend to agree with what you say, it means you don't have to make mistakes to get better. Learning from other users' mistakes is certainly better than making mistakes, but sometimes mistakes can occur accidentally which in turn can also be the most valuable lesson.

If they can choose, then I suggest choosing the first instead of the second of the two points below:
1. Learn from other users' mistakes.
2. Make mistakes and learn from them.

Admitting mistakes is the first step in rectifying the mistakes. Many gamblers would never admit that they are gambling with the wrong attitude. If the mistake is reasonable, it means having experience that can be corrected, sometimes there are also gamblers who do not admit their mistakes because of their overly aggressive attitude in gambling, usually they will not accept advice from anyone.

Spending a lot of time, money to gamble for days then obviously this is excessive, usually this is nothing wrong he is already addicted and difficult to stop then it is difficult to change themselves the way they actually gamble.

I can certainly remember the few times when I have lost big at gambling and it can create a very painful memory.
