You could use Xaman (Xumm): https://xumm.app/

It's open source, and it seems like it has been around for some time.

Alternatively, you have multiple other wallets (that claim to be non custodial but there's is no way to confirm it) like Trustwallet, Exodus, etc.

It is surprising that Unstoppable wallet has its Binance pegged but not the real XRP. It would have been the wallet that I would have recommended. You can follow what OmegaStarScream said but I will not recommend the close source wallets like Trustwallet and Exodus if you see a reputed open source ones. But unlike bitcoin, most altcoins wallets are close source, except if you want to go for a hardware wallet.

Xaman is the best recommended XRP wallet as OmegaStarScream suggested. When it comes to exchanges, it depends on which kind of exchange you want. Decentralized or Centralized?

You can check this for guidance. Be sure to look at the trading volumes in the last 24 hours before jumping in especially for decentralized exchanges like Klayswap.

I just want to add to this. Do not hold your coins on exchanges for you to have full control over your own coins. But if you want to make use of noncustodial wallet for ripple, you need to activate your address or account or whatever it is called with 10 XRP.  With ripple price at $0.5218, that amounts to $5.218. The money is not spendable. One of the reasons I can not use ripple and it is very centralized.

I sent 20 xrp from poloniex to an adress but i checked on the blockchain and there is 0 balance after 2 hours from transaction, noting was received.
Also it says "Inactivated address".
The receiver should do something to activate the adress?
on poloniex it says "processing"

You might be withdrawing XRP in the wrong way I think it should include the destination tag without it you won't receive anything from your wallet.

Have you added the tag? If not then this might be the reason.

If you are using poloniex you should learn what are destination tag
- https://support.poloniex.com/hc/en-us/articles/360043556833-What-is-a-Payment-ID-Memo-Destination-tag-Message

If that is not the issue then you better contact Poloniex and I think it's still not processed because as you can see it says processing maybe because you did it in the wrong way, you better contact Poloniex for help.

Also it says "Inactivated address".

I think it just means that the address is from a newly generated account that still hasnt received enough XRP funds for "Reserve".  You can read more about reserve requirements in XRP here: https://xrpl.org/docs/concepts/accounts/reserves/

The receiver should do something to activate the adress?

No. You just have to fund the new address with enough XRP to be able to use it to send.

Quote
To have an account, an address must hold a minimum amount of XRP in the shared global ledger. To fund a new address, you must receive enough XRP at that address to meet the reserve requirement.

XRP is one of the promising projects in the market and it have been in existence decades. It have holders and also promising for top investors. There are numerous wallets in the market but we should simply stick to the ones we're acquainted with. I know few ones that are legit but mentioning them will seem like an advert on the forum. Everyone have their opinions to give and we should always stick to getting legit information about the space.

If it's not the tag that you forgot to mention then it might be due to the TX is still on the queue and Poloniex is not a great exchange when it comes to reputation and handling user tickets but not scam either so if the TX didn't go through then you might see the funds back again in your wallet after a while let's say at least a day and if nothing changes then contact the Poloniex cause they are the only one who can answer.

You suppose to see something like completed on the exchange and not processing. Processing means the withdrawal is not yet completed. But ripple transaction is fast and supposed not to take more than some seconds or minutes.

[You might be withdrawing XRP in the wrong way I think it should include the destination tag without it you won't receive anything from your wallet.
You do not need any tag to withdraw ripple to a noncustodial wallet. You will need the destination tag if you are sending the coin to an exchange or custodial wallet.

AFAIK, you need to have 20 10xrp to activate that wallet. But that should suffice to activate that wallet. I've sent 20 xrp to my wallet as well years ago to activate it but I don't know in your case if you have to deposit another 20 xrp just to activate it because that's how it went for me.

First, did you send at the correct address? If it says inactive address then you might need to activate it first but since you already processed the transaction, then better to ask the support on if you can still get the money since most of the site says that if you send at the wrong address then it is already your fault and the site is not responsible to it.

It is 10 XRP and not 20 XRP. Please read what we have posted before posting.

First, did you send at the correct address? If it says inactive address then you might need to activate it first but since you already processed the transaction, then better to ask the support on if you can still get the money since most of the site says that if you send at the wrong address then it is already your fault and the site is not responsible to it.
That is another thing. Maybe he sent it to a wrong address. He should be able to track the transaction on the blockchain. But he said the withdrawal is not yet completed on Polonix. But that is kind of strange.

AFAIK, you need to have 20 xrp to activate that wallet. But that should suffice to activate that wallet. I've sent 20 xrp to my wallet as well years ago to activate it but I don't know in your case if you have to deposit another 20 xrp just to activate it because that's how it went for me.
It is 10 XRP and not 20 XRP. Please read what we have posted before posting.
My bad, thanks for the correction. Yeah, it was 10 xrp.
So if the amount was right and it had exceeded, he should recheck the address and the mistake probably was on that end then.
@OP, it might help if you're going to post the address for tracking.

You could use Xaman (Xumm): https://xumm.app/

It's open source, and it seems like it has been around for some time.

Alternatively, you have multiple other wallets (that claim to be non custodial but there's is no way to confirm it) like Trustwallet, Exodus, etc.

I just want to ask how long have you been using this wallet (xaman) that you shared here? Because the one I used was the trustwallet, when did this xaman wallet start? Because if it's okay based on your experience if you've used it and you didn't have any issues with it, I might add it to the wallet I'll use anyway.

It's better to have other wallets where crypto assets are hidden than just one to keep potential coins thinking if it can give me good savings in the future,
and this exodus I have a little in it honestly speaking.
