Never compare Bitcoin to meme coins because Bitcoin is a coin that is built uniquely on its blockchain while majority of those memecoins are just tokens that is built on  other blockchain just as nutcoin is under the ton network. Bitcoin will rise to a new all time high sooner this year or later by next year unless that the bear market is quick to start before this time next year. Bitcoin drags the entire crypto market along side other altcoins when the price is surging high. Nut coin might be able to grow above its current price because it is just a newly launched token.

The reason for altcoins dumping is not bitcoin, the reason is their uselessness and the fact that they are only alive due to pump and dumps since they have no real utility in the real world.

Altcoins are created for speculative purposes, they do not have any utility and use cases as they are promoting but many people trust them blindly. All altcoin projects are created by raising capital from organizations, funds, retail investors... this has shown us that the real purpose of creating those projects is pumping and dumping. Meanwhile, bitcoin is not like that, bitcoin was created to become a means of peer-to-peer payment but we are the ones who turn bitcoin into an investment. But because bitcoin has real utility and use cases, it has been able to survive and thrive to this day despite fluctuations in value.

I also invest in altcoins because of their hype, I want to take advantage of that to find profits but I don't want to deny their uselessness in reality.

I appreciate your question as a beginner. Please note that putting $100 in bitcoin is better than putting $1000 in meme coin. Because in bitcoin you can keep it for the next 5 to 10 years + the increase, but in meme coin you keep it for 1 year, it doesn't necessarily mean your money will come back, it could even be zero. Don't hesitate to put money into Bitcoin, if investing long term please always withdraw from a centralized exchange to a personal wallet and then store the recovery seeds in a safe place.

Bitcoin is not a stable coin and it is volatile in nature so it would go up and come down. Bitcoin will still reach $20k or below. And foe now it is on the high side of the investment and time is coming that the price will still go down and that will be the time people will invest a lot. And bitcoin and memecoins have no business. Memecoins are from airdrop but they all follow the falling and rising of bitcoin.

If you take an entry in the coin now you can expect a good profit in the upcoming bull season. Most of the coins are affected based on the price increase of Bitcoin. Bitcoin is currently in a bullish state, so many coins in the market are looking bullish.

In the long term - definitely will continue rising. It's hard to tell what's gonna happen in the short term.

It's safe to enter if you're investing what you can afford to lose and prepare to hold it for a year at least, or more.

And obviously BTC affects the whole crypto market.

This is how the OP expressed his approach to this market. Perhaps I understand people with this type of thinking when they do not learn the most basic things during use. Just a game and they are just tools controlled by others. Viewpoints related to memecoin often receive fanaticism from scammers, dreamers,... but not everyone likes it like that but it is for the most part.

I will only be answering your first question, for the two questions remaining, I have nothing to say about them. Bitcoin might go sideways for now, nobody knows what the bitcoin price will be at a particular period of time, but even if bitcoin dumps for now, time will come when the bitcoin price will be bullish, so don’t be discouraged whenever you see bitcoin dumping, do not panic and sell. There is no such thing as a continuous rise but each has its own down times and some are even worse than in BTC because they don't recover anymore. The dump in BTC is only normal and not that it fucks up everyone but others might think of it and do unwanted actions. NOT coin is a meme coin and BTC isn't but both still has their own risk and both are high because BTC is a highly volatile asset/currency.

Meme coins such as NOT coin are only lighter than in BTC, this is why people assumes that they can pump easily and the returns that they can get are going to be higher than in BTC. BTC is still more guaranteed to last longer than them. Yes, BTC can influence those coins you mentioned there and not only them actually but others too.
