Wabisator - WabiSabi Coordinators List

Dear Bitcoin community,
Since the official Wasabi coordinator (zkSNACKs) has been shut down, users now rely on coordinators run by individuals to enjoy the privacy benefits of WabiSabi CoinJoins. I have created a website, Wabisator, which displays the currently known WabiSabi coordinators from the Nostr relay "wss://relay.primal.net/".

What is WabiSabi?

WabiSabi is a protocol that enhances the privacy of Bitcoin transactions by allowing multiple users to combine their inputs into a single CoinJoin transaction. This makes it significantly harder to trace funds and greatly improves privacy protection.

The Role of Coordinators

WabiSabi coordinators play a crucial role in the protocol. They receive inputs from users and group them into CoinJoin transactions. Without coordinators, WabiSabi cannot function effectively.

Wabisator - Your Source for WabiSabi Coordinators

Wabisator is a website dedicated to providing an up-to-date list of active WabiSabi coordinators. The site retrieves coordinator information from the Nostr relay "wss://relay.primal.net/" and presents it in an easy-to-read format. For each coordinator, you'll find:

  • Coordinator Name
  • Coordinator Link
  • Fees
  • Configuration
  • Status (Online/Offline)

Visit Wabisator to access the current list of WabiSabi coordinators.

The purpose of Wabisator is to support the growth of the WabiSabi ecosystem and contribute to enhancing privacy in the Bitcoin community. By providing a reliable source for WabiSabi coordinator information, we hope to make it easier for Wasabi users to find and connect to coordinators.
If you have any questions or feedback about Wabisator, please don't hesitate to reach out.

Hi, awesome project! It looks like the list is not correctly noticing config updates. My coordinator ( https://btcpay.kruw.io/plugins/wabisabi-coordinator/ ) has increased the minimum and maximum input counts:

Also, the link for the BTCPay Server doc is incorrect, it should be https://docs.btcpayserver.org/Wabisabi/ not https://docs.btcpayserver.org/WasabiWallet/
EDIT: It's fixed now!

It's good initiative. Anyway, i have few thoughts.
1. Guide "How To Add A Custom Coordinator" leads to different website. You probably want to include it on your own website.
2. I find it's unuusal none of the coordinator use .onion link. I wonder whether all of them follow past zkSNACKs decision stated on https://blog.wasabiwallet.io/explaining-wasabi-wallets-tor-implementation/.

Very useful project.

I think some infos of each coordinator can be added with ease. Including current input count, time remaining, phase and so on

Ex.
For coordinator https://mega.cash/plugins/wabisabi-coordinator/, its current state can be found at https://mega.cash/plugins/wabisabi-coordinator/wabisabi/human-monitor

For https://kravens.duckdns.org:23001/plugins/wabisabi-coordinator/, at https://kravens.duckdns.org:23001/plugins/wabisabi-coordinator/wabisabi/human-monitor

For https://btcpay.kukks.org/plugins/wabisabi-coordinator/, at https://btcpay.kukks.org/plugins/wabisabi-coordinator/wabisabi/human-monitor

For https://btcpay.kruw.io/plugins/wabisabi-coordinator/, at https://btcpay.kruw.io/plugins/wabisabi-coordinator/wabisabi/human-monitor (it's offline at writing time)

Really appreciating the project - do you have a donation address you can list on the website? I would like to contribute to help cover your hosting costs.

Also, kravens' coordinator switched to a new domain name (btip.nl) since his old one was getting DoS attacked. Perhaps it would be a good idea to sort offline coordinators to the bottom of the list?

It's neat to see that Wabisator is now tracking the 24h volume of each coordinator  Shocked

Hi all,

Was looking for alternative coordinators for Wasabi and came across swisscoordinator.app. Gave it a shot with a small amount today. The integration was seamless, and the round started quicker than I expected, which was a nice surprise.

My main question is around trust. Since it's not the default ZkSNACKs coordinator, I'm trying to gauge its reputation. Has anyone vetted the operator or looked into their logging policies? Curious what you guys think before I consider using it more seriously.

Cheers.

It is the first time that I heard about swisscoordinator.app, it seems they don't announce their coordinator as others do and that makes difficult to discover them. Something curious is that I really don't understand why they claim they charge a 0.5% coordination fee when Wasabi doesn't allow coordinators to charge you any coordination fee. It is important to understand that the coordination fee concept was removed from the protocol in order to prevent malicious coordinators from charging you money, it is a security measure.

About trust, you should assume that all coordinators could be compromised, even when the Wasabi client does the best effort to protect your privacy you should assume that they could find ways to learn something. For this same reason you shouldn't trust 100% what they claim, most coordinators will say "we have the most private policy ever", "we never log anything", and so on and on.

This seems to be more about you posting to advertise/promote a particular service (that nobody had heard of before), rather than you making an innocent mention of the app. If you want others to learn about the app you mentioned, there is nothing stopping you from creating your own thread in the Service Announcements board.

 Hello wabisator,

  I run SwissCoordinator (https://wasabi.swisscoordinator.app/), a WabiSabi
coordinator that has been active and announcing on Nostr (relay.primal.net).

I noticed my coordinator is not listed on wabisator.com. Could you please
  add it to the config.json?

  Coordinator details:
  - Name: SwissCoordinator
  - Endpoint: https://wasabi.swisscoordinator.app/
  - Network: mainnet
  - Fee: 0.1%
  - More info: https://swisscoordinator.app/

  Thank you!

I run SwissCoordinator (https://wasabi.swisscoordinator.app/)

What's up with all the fake rounds & inputs reported by the monitor page? https://wasabi.swisscoordinator.app/wabisabi/human-monitor

 - Fee: 0.1%

Coordination fees are no longer supported by Wasabi Wallet, if you are running an old version then you should update your config to 0%. I get a "WrongOwnershipProof" error when I try to join a round.
