That's right, we are all trying to walk towards financial freedom in our own way. Warren Buffett's sentence can be interpreted in different ways, personally I tend to interpret it as an encouragement to never stop thinking. One of the best ways to have passive income is to invest, as we know, cryptocurrency offers the opportunity to get the desired profit. This is one of the options available, and of course there are many other types of investment that you can try. However, in my opinion, cryptocurrency is easier, but requires someone to learn and update information all the time regarding market prices.

Besides that, we cannot deny that all of this requires initial capital, and will take time and energy to get the profits we want. The reality is that even those that achieve great financial success work a great deal until the end of their lives, and an example of this is Warren Buffett himself, he has enough money already to retire and enjoy the rest of his days without working, and yet he does not stop working, so even having all the money on the world is not enough to achieve this, you also need to have interests other than your job, because if you do not, then even if you become incredibly wealthy you will still work until you die.

I think banks might start offering crypto staking for customers because they see that's what customers want off course secured staking that goverment will secure staking.

Personally I'm not a fan of staking, I rather be with my coins and dispose them when I have seen substantial profit. Why will I even stake my coin in the first place, what if the project fails before the maturity of my staking period. I won't totally entrust my hard earn coin in the hands of individuals who will detect how I use my coins, it's no different from what the banks are doing. There is not even a guarantee that once you have staked your coins that you will make enough profit off that project, it's just like a gamble and the chances are 50:50.

It is called as passive earnings and it's not new. Everyone wants it because like you said, it gives them freedom of having a profit and then at the same time they can do whatever they wanted to do.

Not all passive earnings are huge and in fact it was mostly small due to its advantage, so we can only mix it up with our other earning activities, mostly the active ones. The point of everything you said is that we have to sacrifice our youth to do things that are beneficial and have the potential to bring benefits in the future, which is a difficult thing to do, even if you are physically able to do it but logically you may not agree to do it while other people your age are enjoying everything they earn by wasting either in terms of money earned from work or the time they have.

As you said, it is very unlikely to be done when we are getting old because of the age factor that does not allow us to do or think about too many things. Just with the same sentiment how OP describe the topic, right investment can bring you decent benefits, money will flow if you are in the correct path, though not always to bring huge amount but even in a small form of profits as long as it's bringing results is still a profits, let your money do the work after you invest on it. True, and maybe that is also the reason why some people succeed but there are also some others who fail, humans are social creatures and every human being has the same portion even though they have different capacities and limitations, but often I see when people have limitations in themselves but they are able to take advantage of other things in themselves and make it an opportunity to make more money, meaning and actually in my opinion there is no reason to fail, but maybe most of those who fail cannot dedicate themselves with intention and hard work in totality.

I dont buy the whole argument against BTC because Buffet holds gigantic amounts of government debt which has massive flaws in its make up.  Much as we might hate to admit because it would be a disaster but paper value can turn to zero, government is not known for its natural productivity and certainly the paper can fall apart.  So I really cant sign up to his idea but thats the basic take, also similar reasoning to why Buffet rejects silver and gold as valid but he has traded both for sure.
