After today's win, I'm beginning to edge towards the realization that Real Madrid might win the UCL this upcoming season. I have been one of the very few people that have disputed the fact that Madrid could win their second UCL title in a row. I watched Madrid playing today and even though Mbappe hasn't synced in fully with the boys — Bellingham, Vini, Rodrygo, etc. I'm wondering how deadly Madrid's attack is going to be when Mbappe, Vini, Rodrygo and Bellingham starts "enjoying" attacking their opponents on every breakout counters

Even without the arrival of mbappé in Real Madrid, I have already marked them as the favorite to win the champions league again. Although, this time around Manchester City might like to contest very well but I don't think it is their season to win champions league again. If care is not taken, Manchester City might lose their grip of the English Premier League this season. The only team that I expect to unsit Manchester City in the English Premier League throne is Arsenal. But it is unfortunate to see how those guys give up in the 11th hour when they were supposed to give their best to win the title. I do not count in Liverpool this time around but yet they could make a very significant difference in the Champions League. Honestly this season's Champions League will be a pleasure to watch, put in the new formation, Real Madrid squad and also is having Alonso and his boys appearance in the big boys stage.

Looking at Madrids performance at the super cup, I could literally begin to paint a mind picture as to what we should be expecting at the champions league this season, for Madrid I feel it will be very okay to keep high expectations because they already proved they are capable and are going to make the most of the champion's league this season.

Today's game is a must win for Real Madrid from the start it looked like the squad, because the Real Madrid team is very strong from the beginning and they added Kylian Mbappe at the last minute. Today he scored a goal on 68 minutes which was the most interesting goal. But the opposite side, Ataianta, fared poorly overall, with just seven shots on target. But Real Madrid had 13 kicks, two of which were successful, and the counter attack was more of a Real Madrid team. 

Because they have the most experienced players here, they performed well, especially attacking twice before and after half time, but after half time they got success. But I think not only this match but Real Madrid team will perform well throughout the season and I will root for them at home.

Kylian Mbappe was the biggest attraction of the UEFA Super Cup 2024 final match yesterday. Mbappe played his first match for Real Madrid through yesterday's match.
His style of play didn't seem new at this club, he was too old and too relaxed. Real Madrid midfielder Valverde put Real Madrid ahead in the 59th minute before Kylian Mbappe doubled the score with another goal. Mbappe's goal marked the first goal of his career for Real Madrid, even in the final.

Also, as you mentioned, he might have a record next to his name for the first goal in a debut match even a title win in that match.

It won't be easy to get over the fact that Toni Kroos has retired, this is their first official match after it and so this are expected outcome though Jude still did well especially from the fact that he was still the man of the match I think Federico Valverde might be able  to do better in that position with time there, Ancelotti knows this and believes on Federico Valverde while when Arder Guler or Modric plays he may switch or still plays 10

Secondly, you are very much correct when you said that Luka modric is the only one in the team who can also play that position very well, but my question is can he be able to play a complete match against a top team that plays with high intensity considering his current age?
Though some people will argue that camavinga can also be utilize in that position, but in my own perspective, he can't brings the quality of play toni Kross brings to the table as a deep lying playmaker, so till that is fix, I see real madrid struggling against the bigger boys if not is done about it.

The first half of this match was very boring. Both teams played very cautiously in the first half. We haven't seen any team make such a strong attack in the first half. Real Madrid probably only had 3 shots in the first half, and Atalanta's players had 2 shots.

However, Ancelotti changed the entire scenario of the match in the second half. From the beginning of the second half, Real Madrid played attacking tactics. And in the 59th minute, Valverde scored the first goal of the match from Vini's pass. Mbappe scored from Bellingham's assist in just 9 minutes. It was Mbappe's first goal in a Madrid jersey. Bellingham, Mbappe, VIni and Valverde have all performed very well. It would not be wrong to say that this young squad is the strongest squad in the world right now. This team will dominate the La Liga and the Champions League next season as well.

Ancelotti as already spoken of not needing any new signings and I believe they can work things out and with time Federico Valverde would be able to feel that gap or any other stars.
It definitely can't be easy to replace Toni Kroos just like how it wasn't easy to get over when Ronaldo or Benzema left though  things are better now  with time. Also relaying on Modric won't really be solving the problem in the long run since he is also in the point of leaving the club to possibly retire which is another reason Ancelotti have to come up with a solution using other stars like Federico Valverde or others

As always, vini jnr always brings a totally different and unique energy to the game when it comes to playing for real Madrid. At Brazil a lot of people expected more from him but it didn't work out as expected but here we have our ever strong and vibrant side man doing those crazy runs and giving sharp assist like never before. Thede three combo, vini jnr, mbape and Jude Bellingham will certainly make things deficult for any opposition they go up against.

But for the first 60 minutes, I can say Atalanta were really good with resisting. But against a team full of big stars, until when would they be able to hold on? I especially liked Vinicius Jr's performance. He looks completely ready for new season.

Mbappe won his first trophy with Real Madrid already at the beginning. He has no adaptation issue as it seems. I expect Real Madrid to be more deadly from now on.

It was obvious but the first half was too boring though. Mbappe has started quickly indeed. It isn't a thing that I'm surprised of. Big players like him should be able to do this.

It is the same here as well.    After watching him at PSG for six years I assume it will take us some time to get used to it. When Messi signed for PSG I had the same feelings too. Anyways, I would like to link Mbappe with Real Madrid instead of PSG. He has been just the player Real Madrid would make use of. From now on, they are going to be much more difficult to be stopped for sure.
