When a new season starts and when different teams play a few matches in the beginning we get an idea about different teams and accordingly predict a team that this team can reach this level this season but everything can be said about Real Madrid. It's not just that Real Madrid have strengthened their squad this season, they always focus on strengthening their squad in all aspects. And the most important thing is that Real Madrid has consistency and each player has a good understanding with each player which is why they are successful in almost every match and they will be successful in the next season.

Let us not get too carried away by those odds, it is basically what the book makers have predicted but it doesn’t mean it will turn out to be so at the end of the season. The defending champions are suppose the be on top of the rating before subsequent teams but seeing them coming second makes a lot of people ponder about this rating. Manchester City is very good and may be placed at the same level with Real Madrid but that’s doesn’t still mean they should be placed above the current record holder. When the new season begins, a lot of things will unfold which I believe we will get to know if the prediction of the book makers is actually how the season is going to end or they’ll be a slight change in the position of each team.

A few weeks ago, everyone was so sure that this Madrid team will destroy any and all teams that go against them especially in the champions league but here we have a tier 3 team giving them a run for their money. Starting the season with a point shared doesn’t mean that they won’t go well in that season. After all, football is a game of luck and experience, sometimes one of them work for you and sometimes both of them do, the end goal is that you shouldn’t lose the match or get eliminated from the competition. Real Madrid is still the best team in the La Liga and still stand the best chance to win the La Liga trophy and also the champions league. This is not even a set back to me because we are still in the first week and the point differences won’t be that large until we get to mid seasons before we begin to see the best teams for the season.

A draw against Mallorca is a disaster. You win the Super Cup 2-0, you expect to steamroll into La Liga. But this? This is Real Madrid we're talking about. They can't afford inconsistency. Not with the Champions League looming

Real Madrid does have the most expensive squad with the superstars they currently have, but that will not be a reference that they will return to glory in the coming season in the Champions League, what about City and Munich, they also have a good game scheme and they also have superstar players so I don't think it will be easy for Real Madrid next season, especially after considering the draw in La Liga I think Ancelotti has to re-evaluate how they should play and win the match.

I agree with you completely, it's always easy for people to be conclusive already thinking a team is suffering a set back because they failed to meet up on a particular game only for such team to do better in the nearest future and regain all the support they had lost earlier, it will be a serious misconception to see a set back in this Madrid's draw because before mid Season, we can be sure to see better form and improvement from Madrid that will get us knowing this was just one of the football uncertainties playing out of which should always be expected, even with this they still have the possibility of winning the league title again so let's keep our fingers crossed.

Carlo Ancelotti is a coach who is quite experienced in changing tactics and also in providing the best ways for all his players in the Real Madrid team so I still don't see a setback from the draw obtained by Real Madrid in their first match in La Liga this season. Because there are still many matches that Real Madrid can win and that was also often seen last season when Real Madrid made a comeback quite well in the championship they played. Madrid has a very perfect squad at the moment to support them in winning the UCL trophy next season, so it is not surprising that many of us here are make their a favorites as candidates for champions in La Liga and the Champions League this season, so far Madrid has won their official matches first in the UEFA Super Cup final, but on the contrary they got a negative result by achieving a draw in the first La Liga match, this draw of course caused a lot of surprise from us considering the quality of the squad currently owned by Madrid looks very perfect even if compared to a team like Mallorca, we still cannot predict the final result of a football match with certainty because we cannot separate out the surprise factors that might occur in the match.

Shocking how even Madrid drew their last game in La Liga fixture, it was really unexpected because everyone taught it was an easy win for Madrid. With what happened yesterday, shows that football is truly a game of luck no matter the squad list on that team there is still a level of possibility loosing some points to a minority team. There are currently multiple star players in Real Madrid. This is a great development on paper, but sometimes it backfires. Because every star player wants to see themselves in the foreground. A team should have a certain quota for star players. Not every player can be a star. Not every star can play in a team. Now, players like Mbappé, Vinicius, Rodrigo are trying to come to the forefront in Real Madrid. This can cause them to shoot when they should be passing. Because they want to come to the fore and show themselves. They showed this in the Mallorca match. I think they play more individually. If they had adapted to team games, I think they could have beaten them. If they play like this, we may not see Real Madrid in the rankings we expect towards the end of the season.

The season have just started and you want to use the result of one match to conclude how the end of a team will be like. You should know that Real Madrid is not PSG who are local champions. Real Madrid are European champions and they have one of the best and most experienced coach in the world.

I don't see any reason why Real Madrid should not draw matches like every other team. However, drawing their first match does not mean that all hopes are gone because there are still a lot of matches to play.

It was an unexpected result indeed. Especially after getting a big win against Atalanta in the UEFA Super Cup.    However I wouldn't still judge them for the rest of the season already now. Because we are in very much the beginning of the season. Many favourite teams can have a slow start in their domestic leagues. I believe we will watch a really effective Real Madrid in the Champions League.

Messi - Mbappe - Neymar was a great trio on paper. But Neymar's injury-prone nature was enough to break this trio. Messi wasn't in his prime either. I believe Real Madrid's current trio is better than that.

This is all a question of statistics. If they work well as a team there is no problem ever when it comes to the number of star players. As if Real Madrid wasn't full of star players all the time. See how Ronaldo took the leading role back at the time and Benzema and Higuain had trouble getting into the limelight themselves, but the fact of the matter was that Ronaldo had an inbuilt guarantee for goals. Hence nobody cared most of the time when he took a shot instead of passing the ball.

These guys will now need some time to learn all the mechanics from each other. What's indeed a bit complicated is that both Mbappe and Vinicius are high speed attackers who both love to have a lot of room and go for deep runs. They are very similar. In the game against RCD Mallorca they hardly found any solutions and that is what happens when you have these high speed strikers who are not given the space they need. It requires more genius dribblings. But I think Mbappe will become their most important striker.

Real as a club is bigger than the players, which I think helps that everyone subordinates himself for the success of the club. When Mbappe played for PSG, it wasn't like that. All of the superstars thought the club depends on them.

But again the problem against Mallorca was that there was no depth on the field for them as Mallorca knows what Mbappe and Vinicius love the most. That's where in the future they will need to find solutions. I can imagine that they are more dangerous against teams that love to have the ball themselves and are not waiting deep in their own half. I no that so many people will be disappointed in real Madrid because playing 1:1 against Mallorca was the last thing  they expected from them and besides I know that with the kind of squad they have so many gamblers would certainly use them on there bet because there is no way they would imagine the match to end this way, i noticed that real Madrid force was not like there first match if not there is no way they would have draw the match, though they perform very well because they dominated the match very well but what they lack on that match was consistency if not after Rodrygo score the first goal real Madrid would have lock up, however in term of the red card they are even lucky they had it on the last minutes if not who knows what would have happened.
