I don’t view this new format in that sense. From the end of last season this new method has been proposed and all teams playing in the champions league already knew how the format is going to be, so they ought to have prepared well for it by now. Fatigue and rotation of players will be necessary if they’re employing this new format, so I expect them to have already tackled that. For unforeseen circumstances, they should be able to minimise it if they’ve already prepared for the new format. It won’t make them depreciated in performance if at all something happens to affect them during the course of the new champions league format.

I think the matches to be played are more than 12. Since the news about the new format of the Champions League has been circulating, to be honest I have not studied the detailed mechanism of the new format of the Champions League competition. However, if I try to review several teams, it seems that each team will play eight matches in the group phase, in short like that. Paris Saint Germaine without doubt have been very impressive in the French league this season even after their former star player Kylian Mbappe left the club but looking at their UEFA Champions League opponents in the first round of the competition, I think it'll be very difficult for them to reach the next round. For some reason Barcelona is always faced with its past opponents and here Bayern Munich feels very happy to meet its old friends.

This will be a repeat match like before where Barcelona will have a nightmare when facing Bayern Munich and even if you look at social media, one of Bayern Munich's veteran players, Thomas Muller, has started to greet them again.
