Barcelona's incredible start to the Spanish La Liga season doesn't translate to having a great campaign in the UEFA Champions League competition as well when the competition returns later this month. Barcelona doesn't have bad records against German teams so I think they can still end up dispatching their German opponents when they later meet each other this season in the UEFA Champions League. They have a German manager in Hansi Flick who has managed some German teams including Bayern Munich which he won the Champions League and the German Bundesliga title with in 2019/20 season and that I think is an added advantage for the current Spanish La Liga leaders. It's a very interesting season in the UCL and I can't wait for the new season to officially kick off.

But in my personal opinion, the most packed schedule is the Premier League team, because they also participate in several other competitions. So clearly, they need a lot of energy for this new format. However, if seen from another side, it seems that this is quite exciting and provides a different spectacle that we usually know in each season. So, each team will not meet twice in the group phase until they are confirmed to qualify for the last 16.

The new format that is now being implemented will be witnessed together about how far it can run effectively and efficiently to find out at the end of the season whether the results can be much fairer, by fair I mean presenting more unexpected candidates in the top 8. Because in the new format it demands stability in the condition of the players, while managing the schedule in the Domestic league with player rotation and many more which basically demands club management to work harder. In addition, the new format will indeed drain the players' energy, but on the other hand this new format wants to show us which club management is really working well.

yes, in fact, that's exactly the problem, having so many teams that often end up clashing immediately in big matches, I must say that the formula is really chaotic and full of problems right now and we're only at the beginning, it will take time to fix get people used to this new formula, I sincerely preferred the old formula where we were all used to, they say they removed it because of favoritism, but to me it seems like they are ruining a competition

I don't think like that about the new format in the Champions League this season, because no matter what, everyone also needs to see how the conditions of the new format are this season. And if there are some teams that clash directly with big matches because of their difficult opponents, indeed in this Champions League nothing is easy for every team even though last season there was a slight difference because it was still the old format. So the teams that are here are teams that have been truly tested from everything including pressure and also in terms of facing their opponents.

But at least, with this new format there will be many big matches because top teams will meet other top teams, and I think it will be very interesting. When compared to the old format, the big matches that  occurred were quite few, such as the group of death and or top teams meeting other top teams in the knockout phase. But in this new format because the system is also like a league with a standings, each team is shuffled and in reality gets a lot of big matches, and that also seems to increase more benefits too.

Although indeed, I am still not used to this new format, but it seems I will try to enjoy it because the new format has certainly been considered in depth. Thus, I am sure the Champions League will be fine eventhough it uses a new format and most importantly, of course every  match in the Champions League will be a very interesting match and that has been depicted from the existing schedule at this time.

It is a tough group but I believe that Barcelona will qualify from this group no matter how difficult that their opponents are. The clubs that will give them tough time is Munich and Dortmund because they are well experienced in UCL.

Atalanta will not be a big challenge for Barcelona because it seems that they are not too strong like they wereasy season. Real Madrid won them 3-0 and Inter 4-0 this season so I don't expect much from them this season.

With all the good records that Barcelona is now showing in La Liga. I think the majority of us are also starting to have high hopes for Barcelona in the UCL. And actually the only challenges Barcelona has are Bayern Munich, Dortmund, Benfica and Atalanta. and I think Barcelona's difficulties are only against Bayern and Dortmund. And the rest I think Barcelona will go through very well. The unluckiest club is the club that has to play against Manchester City. Because Man City has always been a scary club for other teams in the UCL. because the possibility of winning against Man City is always small. Even big teams like Real Madrid always have difficulties. And the big opponents that Man City will face are PSG, Juventus and Inter Milan. Luckily Barcelona is not on the list that Man City has to face.
