inter milan. not only eliminated barcelona and robbed us of the opportunity to watch perhaps one of the best finals in history, but also played a disgraceful final that will go down in champions league history. he did the same in 2023, losing to manchester city.

yesterday's game was not a champions league final. look at these shots;



inter was a team whose defense was very well commented on coming here. in fact, if it wasn't for barcelona's incompetence, they would have been eliminated in the semifinals after conceding 3 in both rounds with this defensive line. but they managed to score against barcelona. now, in a champions league final, we see a result like 5-0. total incompetence.

After the game last night I thought all these while I was watching an advert for over 90'mins, like what in the name of football did we just witness? A champion league finals end with a clean sheet and a 5nil win, this is the 2nd worse champions league final I have witness, Liverpool vs Tottenham and this very one, this is a spot Barcelona would have made use of, at some point I asked myself how did Barcelona concede 7 goals from this team (Inter Milan)?
Enrique has changed the PSG we knew to a machine gun, ready to eliminate any opponent without mercy, I can't recognize these players like I saw them play against Manchester City, Liverpool, Aston Villa and Arsenal. Every game they play to advance to the next they improve with something new to give to the fans and from today I stopped calling them domestic champions.
At this point PSG will be one of the most feared team in Europe, as for Inter I believe they have nothing to say they won like a trophy, they cost all that happened to them and it will continue to hunt them, next season will be more terrible because I don't see some of the starting 11 staying at Inter next campaign with this shameful run this season, they might even struggle to finish in the top 4 this coming season.

PSG won their first ever European trophy in a grand style, so many records has been set today by this team and coach. Luis Enrique joins the illustrious few coaches to win the Champions League with two different team not just that his won the treble with two different teams. Exactly 10 years after doing it I 2025 with his Barcelona side and now his done it again with his PSG side. It's even like a coincidence that his first Champions League win as a coach was against an Italian opposition, Juventus and today again his repeated it by beating another Italian side Inter Milan in the finals.

Yea but I was thinking that inter Milan will be a very strong opponent to PSG, infact thought they'll be a problem for PSG to achieve this dream of theirs not knowing that they'll just dash them the cup in just a platter of gold,I think that doesn't look like a final to me, it looks like a training or when coming is just in it's early stage, 5:0 aren't luck rather it is a convincing defeat congratulations to them because they merited it somuch, I will have to say that PSG manager knows how to tackle Italian side, with the history on ground, he may continue to this to them if he keep meeting them in this stage of the competition, I think this is a very shameful defeat for inter Milan, PSG was everly determined from the beginning, so I congratulate them once more.

I attended the UEFA Champions League Final at the Allianz Arena in Munich. I couldn't imagine if I was about to see this historic moment of probably the biggest margin of victory that has ever been recorded in Champion's League Final. PSG won Champion's League for the first time and already set the record, congrats to Luis Enrique, PSG players and PSG fans for such an amazing victory but Inter Milan, what was it? What were you guys doing?

Well, I honestly couldn’t have imagined Inter failing to score even once. I had placed two bets on both teams to score, so naturally, both went down the drain. They managed to hit the net four times against Barcelona and now not a single goal. Why is that?

Why? 

Because Barcelona has a weak defense, Inter won thanks to that luck, Barcelona has a very strong attack, but it has a very weak defense, the only luck that Barcelona had that allowed them to win La Liga was because Real Madrid is bad in defense thanks to the fact that many of its good defensive players have long-term injuries. If Real Madrid had all its players 100% fit, then we would see Real Madrid winning La Liga and the Champions League this season

Inter is not strong, the Inter coach's strategy was based on defending and going on counterattacks and PSG was Inter's worst opponent because they were playing the same way, so it was easy for PSG to neutralize Inter, I had no doubt that PSG would win

That is why we all expected the final match to be very enjoyable . But it did not happen. It was a boring match. Inter Milan's performance was very weak. Suddenly their performance has fallen drastically. The final  match was completely one-sided.

PSG scored 5 goals , Inter Milan could not score a single one. psg players had 8 shots on target. On the other hand, Inter Milan had 8 total shots. Inter's defense was weak. Milan players could not create any comeback opportunities due to falling behind quickly. It is a shame for a team like Inter to concede 5 goals  despite playing defensively.

Bro, I understand what you're saying, but isn't it a bit of an exaggeration to say "the second worst final"? I had my eyes glued to the screen for 90 minutes it was a masterclass, no add! The way PSG played, aren't they robots? There was no mercy, they completely destroyed Inter.

And Barca conceded 7 goals to that Inter bro, football is a game of timing and form. Inter back then and Inter now are not the same. Enrique is making PSG a complete war machine. Doué isn't even 20, playing like that?!

PSG simply destroyed Inter, a 5-0 score in a final is truly an achievement to go down in history. The ones who must be feeling down right now are former PSG players Neymar and Mbappe, left empty-handed with their respective teams. My congratulations to PSG, that was incredible!

This is not Champions League finals. 5-0 in the finals of the most prestigious competitions in the world.  It would have been better if Barcelona played with PSG. The match would have been more entertaining and competitive. I have never seen Inter Milan play so poorly. The backside couldn't even stop the young Attackers of the French side. This is the least expected result of any Champions League final, it is difficult to score five goals against Inter in a normal club competition, how come in a Champions League final, a very big disgrace to whom we thought would make the final competitive, i had to leave viewing the match when the third goal was scored, nothing is interesting to watch till the end, sure Barca would be one side imagining how they lost to Inter when PSG humiliates them with five goals in a final.

The winning was very much expected because PSG needed that trophy as much as they have just won it. Inter Milan actually created chances and tried to come back after two first conceded goals but PSG kept their goal safely. A third goal from PSG nailed the match as a win for them and Inter Milan started to collapse after that. It's painful for Inter Milan to lose 2 Champions League final matches within only three years but if PSG lose this match, they will experience the same pain.

PSG already harvested a first sweet result with Champions League title after their strategic changes in two latest seasons. They have many young players so they will be able to maintain good performances next seasons and it's interesting to see their competition with Barcelona.

Inter Milan disappointed all the football lovers today. They didn’t deserve to be in the UCL finals with this kind of performance. What was that!!! Football made easy for PSG in such a way that, it wasn’t worth being a finals. Inter Milan was humiliated in the worst way possible and you would even pity for them and wish they had some of the ball, just to make the game look interesting. This wasn’t what they did when they played against FC Barcelona. With Barcelona, we would have had a far more better finals than this!

Well Inter Milan really played in a way they don't usually do when facing strong teams. Are the current Inter Milan players really not mentally ready for the final match? Because usually Inter Milan's defense is not like this. And usually they don't give up so quickly. But from what I saw in that match, Inter Milan seemed to lose motivation very quickly after PSG scored a goal. They seem to have lost focus.

But however, I also know that Inter Milan could indeed lose that match. So I'm ready for that. It's just that I'm just disappointed with the number of goals scored against Inter Milan. And I also didn't see the beautiful attack patterns that Inter Milan usually plays.

Their PSG played as usual, namely attacking aggressively and passionately. And one word for them is "Amazing".  PSG really made attacks that were difficult for the opponent to overcome. Inter Milan even made it look like they didn't move much in this match. And I think that's because of PSG's strong dominance.

I am really dumbfounded with the performance of PSG it was as if inter Milan never really qualified for the final ,there defence was not it at all in fact aside defence there mid field was not functioning..

The final to me didn't really look much like a final because the match was not competitive at all, it was as if inter Milan changed or were using different set players because what they played against Barcelona and what display yesterday it was really disappointing.

This Champions League final is one of the coldest finals I have ever watched. The Champions League finals are always tough, where the two teams challenge each other. It is often won as a result of luck, with a team taking advantage of the little mistakes of the opponent to win, but in this very game, it was so obvious that Inter Milan wasn't strong enough to face PSG. In previous Champions League finals, the goal difference is always a difference of 1 or 2, but in this game, the goal difference was very huge. Inter Milan could not even manage to score a goal.

I haven't seen a show like this from any team in a long time. PSG was literally "flying" on the pitch. They outplayed Inter in every aspect of the game. The first two goals, where Dimarco was the tragic figure, already hinted that anything could happen. Inter, as you mentioned, had a few chances but failed to really threaten PSG’s goal. PSG became the 24th team to win the illustrious trophy after Manchester City who joined just two years ago, PSG owner will be feeling himself now as his mission has been accomplished after years and billion of Euros spent on this quest. With how Inter Milan performed in the knockout phase of the UEFA Champions League and the impressive performance they displayed against Barcelona to cement their way to the UEFA Champions League final, I never agreed PSG was stronger than Inter Milan, and I was expecting a difficult game last night, but Inter Milan disappointed me with their bad performance. It was the defensive football Inter Milan adopted at the beginning of the UEFA Champions League final that made Inter Milan concede those 2 early goals against PSG, which spoiled Inter Milan's game plan, and they lost complete control of the match.

I think I'd say congratulations to PSG for getting their first Champions League trophy and it's all thanks to the massive overhaul including Enrique's philosophy this season.
With the current conditions there is nothing to expect from Inter in this match and I think with the dominance that PSG now gets it could be that they get another goal especially Inter really slumped at a crucial time now.

This was true as PSG's fifth goal put Inter on the back foot and it was as one-sided a final and a massacre as I've seen.

Inter's play hasn't improved and even looking at the current situation I think their semi-final was much better than this final. Not that I want to make a comparison but by looking at what they are showing now it looks like Inzaghi is really not ready with the scheme and the final that is being done which is actually a very good thing for PSG which makes them superior with a very large score for the size of the final.

With this result they finally won after the last few seasons (especially after the acquisition of Naser Al Khelaifi) always being in the Champions League and with 2 finals they finally managed to get the trophy they wanted in the Champions League.

5 goals really makes this final not ideal especially since it was a nightmare for Inter who really wanted at least 1 trophy with their achievements this season but our expectations seem to be too big in seeing Inter in this final.

They did not do well and in this match they were taught how to play soccer by PSG.

This is clearly the ideal final for PSG because apart from them getting their first Champions League trophy, avoiding the wrath of Nasser Al Khelaifi and of course this big win makes us open our eyes that for now PSG is doing a good job with a coach who is considered successful so there is no reason to consider them a big club but being in the Champions League is just an addition like previous seasons because PSG is now starting to bite especially with the achievements they get now.

I wanted PSG to win. This game brought me a lot of joy. Each goal brought more and more excitement . I got real pleasure to watch the team play. Nobody expected such a crushing score. They were brilliant and showed real high level of game. One of the most exciting matches I’ve ever seen.

The whole drama took Inter Milan by surprise that's why they gave up on the game very early because they never saw that performance coming and as a team with so much good performance Inter Milan wouldn't believe they couldn't score a goal and they have to concede 5 goals in a champions League final. Sorry for your loss but watching the game and the performance of Inter Milan you could see that they played everything they have on the game against Barcelona and they got weak tonight and failed to register a goal.

Inter Milan disappointed many of us yesterday with their performance against PSG. It was very embarrassing to lose a champions league final that way. In fact, Inter was the worst opponent I have ever watched in the champions league final conceding five goals without even making a threat to the opposition team. It was very unlucky and disappointing for Inter to struggle hard to come this far and then end up playing that way yesterday as if it was a community friendly match. It's more unfortunate that they've wasted every opportunity this year to win a trophy and end the season without a single trophy.

All Inter Milan players looked confused and seemed to have lost their touch, PSG with their aggressive play really taught them how to play in the final. Previously I predicted PSG would win with a score of 2-1, in a dramatic way, but surprisingly they slaughtered Inter Milan mercilessly with a score of 5-0.
Inter Milan failed to play with the same performance, as when they beat Barcelona in the semifinals. Besides, I think it was PSG best game this season. When Inter Milan followed PSG rhythm, they started to lose their balance. After PSG took a 2 goal lead through Hakimi and Desire Doue, we could see Simone Inzaghi squad lost their way to turn things around.
