This question is quite rhetorical but what we want from gambling depends on individual mindset because different individuals have their different needs from gambling. some people gambled for the sole interest to have fun and some people also gamble for the sole interest to make money and the category which you find yourself Answers your question about what we want from gambling. many of us don't even know what we want from gambling, they gamble probably because they have seen people win huge amount of money and that alone triggered their mind, and they started gambling not knowing the series of losses that surrounds the winning. lastly i did not know for others but what i actually want from gambling is fun, and to be entertained whenever that i am iddle and bored.

Initially when I joined the gambling world and when I was in the University, it was totally with a different mindset and obviously for the money and there wasn't a specific amount I have had in mind then even up until now, But In the past couple of years as I get more mature both in age and in mind, I would say the way I see gambling now really changed despite the fact I'm interested in getting the money but no longer with the only mindset of making a living, but also for fun in the sense that, wining or no winning I'm fine as I'm not depending on gambling to make a living, and still do not have any target as I'm only interested in playing whenever I see the opportunity to try my luck and plays with an affordable amount of money, and except whichever outcome.

at first, out of curiousity that's why I tried doing gambling but knowing that it will gives you possible huge winnings, I admit that it was all because of money, not just an entertainment but the fact that we will gain funds while having an enjoyment is the main reason. The only steps that I know for me to achieve the things that I expected to have in doing gambling is having self control, being a responsible gambler and having a concrete plan and goals.

I think this scenario is common. I mean, I also had hope in the past about gambling that someday I would win a huge amount of money that could change my life.
