OP. It's a good application because there are many benefits for you and your business.
I can't do that in my business because we are prohibited from using Bitcoin as a means of payment.

Make sure to check that QR code from time to time though, there will be a day(though probably in the far future) where thieves will be changing the QR codes posted in public with their own wallet QR codes. This has already been happening but only online.

Good anticipation to remind OP that they could do that when we don't know about it so that when consumers pay using Bitcoin it no longer goes into our wallets as business owners.

The fact that many people are curious and interested about bitcoin payment means many people will actually use it and avail of it, and because the news could spread, for sure those interested will speak it to others that they know, and thats when your shop will be swarming with customers that could pay using bitcoin. Maybe now there are no transactions made with bitcoin, but for sure it will eventually happen, and when things become better, you as an owner could hold those bitcoins and maybe catch a good movement in bitcoin price, which means you may earn more because of your assets.

Until now, I also think that when I have a shop, I might receive bitcoin as an alternative payment, and as a long -term investment for me. Unfortunately, in my country, this is not allowed, because the only legal exchange tool is a local currency, and if it is violated, there will be legal consequences. I don't know what country he's from, but in my country, transferring money using a banking app has almost no fees, let alone higher bank fees than bitcoin.

Its a very good innovation and one that will also help you easy some hassle around payments especially when the regular banks are messy on certain days, you are definitely going to be a best bet for car fix because they can be sure you always do have system of payment that helps them go through with the hassle of banking hitches but then your challenge is going to lay with who bears the charges for gas fee on the block chain as they transfer bitcoin to your wallet to make payments and also time of confirmation , except you will be using the block chair site to making your confirmations.

Smart move. Accepting bitcoin payments as an alternative to PDR repair shops is a very nice move. Since this is a unique method, many people may be interested in paying in this method. You shared link to a post explaining to students about Bitcoin in the classroom by writing on the white board which I found most wonderful. I had the same attempt as you but I don't want to teach them about Bitcoin right now because the people I teach are young maybe in a year or two I will teach them about Bitcoin.

OP should explain exactly how people will pay with bitcoins after your PDR repair shop accepts bitcoins so that they can pay bitcoins easily. Because many people are still ignorant about bitcoin and how to trade bitcoin. However, paying bitcoins to the wallet you use to accept bitcoin payments requires a lot of fees. So if you use LN instead of that wallet then customers can make bitcoin payments with lower fees. It is your consideration.

Congratulations, it's great to see that your store accepts bitcoin payments. But you will definitely succeed in it because slowly everyone will start making Bitcoin payments. Everyone would love to have bitcoin payments in your business but you should accept bitcoins in a solid wallet. This is the first time I see someone taking payment in Bitcoin for his car repair center.  I am very much interested in paying in bitcoin but unfortunately bitcoin is still illegal in my country so there is no possibility to accept or provide any service in bitcoin here.  In my country anyone who publicly uses Bitcoin or invests in Bitcoin is subject to legal action. those who can directly buy something with bitcoins or receive services or provide services with bitcoins are very lucky indeed. I want to be like them but my religion makes me stay away from them.

Why only limit this to car repairs and some grocery payments on any service or product if there's an additional discount I would love to pay with Bitcoin but considering the market situation only, I would recommend that they only support the Bitcoin network, and transection fees are too high. Sometimes such discounts encourage people to get regular interest in Bitcoin. In this style if you are familiar with the crypto market especially with Bitcoin it can be turning point for your financial lifecycle.

With bitcoin payments it's like this: 90% of your clients won't notice or won't care., 9% will ask about it and never do anything, 1% will pay you in bitcoin, but that 1% is so satisfying. Your offer with 5% discount when making payment transaction trough bitcoin will make many people interested with this kinds of payment but you must use segwit wallet how to make transaction fees lower. Actually your ideas is fantastic with accepted bitcoin as payment transaction for car repairs because directly you have promote to your costumer using bitcoin as digital payment currency transaction. Get offering with bigger discount will make them interested by using bitcoin as payment way but you need guide them how to make transaction with bitcoin and better with the same network of sending bitcoin will make lower fees for transaction.

You can accept payment directly trough exchange of bitcoin wallet with internal sending and not paying fees yet because every time of bitcoin transaction taking around $2 until 10$ for paying fees depend on network.

I suggest not having your address just printed out and pasted on the wall like this. Instead, why don’t you prepare a card or a signage that has the qr code but you will only take it out once the customer is paying. It’s very easy to remove your paper and paste it with something else. You can also laminate the card I am talking about so it’s not just a paper.
