I realise I am outnumbered here with most of you only buying Bitcoin , that’s fair enough let’s just see what happens.

I believe I will have a few altcoins that will go to zero but the majority will give me profit and I will have a couple that will give me fantastic profit. I am currently holding one that I am up 32x on and that is even after this mini crash in the last 24 hours , I was up over 40x on it a few weeks ago and I believe at the peak of this bull run it will give me a 75x return at least, hopefully over 100x.

A few of you here are acting like I am only buying altcoins outside the top 1000 which are really high risk. As I mentioned a few times now, the majority of my altcoins are strong altcoins in the current top 40 and they are going to give me at least a 5x , hopefully 10x in the next 6-12 months.

The choice is to return to DCA which is the most convenient scheme to earn bitcoin consistently.
It is not wrong if some people will do to buy altcoins and get profits and then move to bitcoin. but in the end the realization that occurs is not as simple as imagined because honestly a scheme like this has a much greater risk in the end.

I don't want to deny that in the end the increase in altcoins, especially for memecoins, is sometimes far more than imagined expectations but on the other hand the risk is also great because when bitcoin corrects it could be that we lose the money we have in the end just because the altcoins we made as investment material burned because bitcoin experienced a correction. So maybe this can still be done but I will think again to do this.

What many persons do nowadays is just to invest some funds into Altcoin projects and either diversify the profit to acquire BTC for holding or they buy more altcoins or invest in real assets and commodity that may be cheaper due to the bearish season or market season.

If one has good profit from Altcoin investment, whats not to buy some BTC for holding? BTC is the boss and leader in the crypto currency space and can't be overlooked and am sure its value will be more before 2030 with many investors becoming millionaires expectedly.

Sorry to hear that you still don't have a single Bitcoin or even a bit of Bitcoin as you know the price of Bitcoin has gone up a lot at the moment so I don't think so at this point you should convert your altcoins to Bitcoin or take advantage and buy Bitcoin. Also, keep in mind that this is the crypto market and anything is possible, the market may crash and you may regret it, so I would not advise you to invest all at once in Bitcoin. Yes, if you can wait for a long time, you should invest some of your money in Bitcoin right now.

In a bullish market, the DCA method is an excellent strategy from which you can take minimum loss and maximum benefit. Now that the market is up enough, there's no telling how much longer we might have to wait for the market to bottom out. And as you know there is no trading group in any period whether the market is bullish or bearish so keep getting profit by adopting the best strategies instead of waiting.

I don’t think there is much difference in me being +117% in my altcoins or being +124% in Bitcoin has I only invested in Bitcoin up till now.

I am happy with this position I am in as like I said we still have up to another year of this bull run and altcoins can 10-50x during that time while Bitcoin will likely only 2x , possibly 3x.

The fact I am +117% overall with just altcoins shows you it can be done without Bitcoin and I think there will be an alt season , I get you are against altcoins so would say there probably won’t be one but I think there will be.

I am holding a few altcoins I am currently down on, the worst one I have is currently -40% down. I have some that I have a small profit on currently and have some that have done over a 10x for me and one that has done over a 40x.

I am going to stick to my plan of holding altcoins till the end of this bull run and then cashing that profit into Bitcoin gradually once the price starts going down after this bull run.

We are all cryptocurrency investors, I just want to give you advice on how to achieve the best profits and minimize risks. I don't mean to fight or argue with you because it's your money and the final decision is yours, whether you win or lose has nothing to do with or affect me.
And with this statement I really feel you are very steadfast in your choices and not influenced by others. It is necessary for us to be successful in any field, so I wish you success with the plans and intentions you have set forth.

By the way, I also invest in altcoins as I said from the beginning, investing in them is extremely risky, hopefully you also have a backup plan for yourself if things don't go as we expected.

I think it will be a terrible mistake to start buying Bitcoin on the 2026 instead of starting now when the price is still okay and somehow affordable because who knows what the price of Bitcoin will worth then and one thing about Bitcoin is that is not the kind of coin that would dip and remain there for number of years before retracing back, so actually as time goes by that's how the price is appreciating, so perhaps if the Bitcoin price could rise from $26k to $71k within a year there is every chance that before 2026 the price will increase beyond your imagination so I would advise you start now.

In my opinion converting Altcoin holdings into Bitcoin is a smart way but you can just do that during bear market. Why? It is because of the fact that when Bitcoin goes down your Altcoins will surely plummet as well so for me it is not the best choice but to wait more for the Altcoin season to come. Though I have never done this in the past but I think this is worth trying.

In my opinion converting Altcoin holdings into Bitcoin is a smart way but you can just do that during bear market. Why? It is because of the fact that when Bitcoin goes down your Altcoins will surely plummet as well so for me it is not the best choice but to wait more for the Altcoin season to come. Though I have never done this in the past but I think this is worth trying.

Many people consider investing in altcoins to be a bad and wrong idea because investing in it can be risky, OP will even lose money before thinking of converting to bitcoin. But they missed a signal that the bull season is approaching and if the bulls really return, OP's investment strategy will bring better results. If we were in a bear season this strategy would be terrible but we are very close to a bull season.

OP is not wrong in saying that bitcoin will only be able to bring 2, 3 times profit from this price while some altcoins will bring 5-10 times even 100 times profit if history repeats itself and season price increase come.

You will be buying Bitcoin at the highest price only if you believe Bitcoin has already hit its ATH and from now on it's going to lose price. At same time, following this logic, we could also think that by buying altcoins right now we are acquiring them for the highest price, because crypto market moves together on the same direction. If Bitcoin gains more value, altcoins are also benefited, but when Bitcoin loses price, altcoins also dump as consequence.

It's all about what you have more confidence on: Bitcoin or altcoins. Personally, I prefer to invest my funds straight way in Bitcoin, instead of altcoins, because it's a more reliable investment on long term, while altcoins tend to be more volatile and lose their relevance inside crypto market from cycle to cycle. On the other hand, Bitcoin is intact on the top position of this market for 16 years already.

Even if you want to buy Bitcoin now, don't just convert all your altcoins into Bitcoin; you can do it little by little while watching the price of Bitcoin. Why convert the altcoins little by little when there's a possibility that it might reach a peak? I'd say that if OP wants to maximize whatever he's got in altcoins, the best thing is to hodl on to it until there's a price pump in that specific altcoin, it's not a good advice but if you've got the right altcoins, you might have a chance at big price pump which you can then use to invest in bitcoin, that's the thing that I see in this one. If you know for yourself that whatever altcoins you're hodling is really unstable, maybe it's a possibility that someone should do a quick selling the moment that the price goes up because you never know right?

The price of Altcoins can not be accurately predicated and that was why I said OP can be converting his Altcoins gradually rather than doing it at once. He must be watching the price of those Altcoins and also the price of Bitcoin. It’s better to invest in bitcoin now that we know the price is still kind of low, and we don’t know what the bitcoin price will be in 2026, just as you say, but that doesn’t mean we shouldn’t have plans to invest by 2026. If you don’t have the money to invest now, don’t force yourself to invest, whenever you have money, you can simply invest in bitcoin. Everyone is just talking about the coming bull run, but we should know that there are more things to come after the coming bull run. So all our plans shouldn’t be based on the coming bull run alone.

Take note that i do not keep any altcoins in my portfolio. There is no strategy that has proven to be successful in predicting altcoins, how can you trust some developers, when a lot of them have turned out to be scammers in the past, and if you are investing because an influencer recommends the coin, then that is a crazy thing to do. I agree with the point that you can get lucky with a few altcoins if you buy a lot of them, but what if you don't get lucky.
