In the past, the salaries of working people provided them with the opportunity to build their future. Most salaries today are just enough to live on until the next salary and not enough to do anything additional. The biggest problem of employees today is their inability to invest for the future.

It is necessary to take steps to start a new business or generate additional income. If a fixed salary is not enough, it is necessary to look for ways to invest for the future. Investing is one of the biggest things you can do for the future.

Even working, saving and investing still not enough to set for the early retirement, the interest offered nowadays are astonishingly aside from the investment that requires high risk there's nothing really worth investing, crypto is the only since we are only at relatively early phase right now there's still many things that we can invest knowing the space of cryptocurrency keep growing every year. But even then we're also still exposed to the risk.

so far its pretty shitty economic condition that we're in, the only way to get out of this probably just to stake everything that we have into one thing it could be investment or anything, increase that risk by few folds and hope for the best. otherwise we gonna need to pay mortgage for 30 years like anyone else even then such mortgage only affordable by people earning 6 figures.

In my estimation early retirement is a choice if you leave in an economy that is already developed. In an economy where the government actually cares for her citizens and have been able to provide the basic and amenities for them. But if you leave in an economy that is still developing early retirement will only be a wish. Because you can't retire early and have it going good for you. Early retirement is certainly a choice but it’s an inevitable thing, that’s why we have to prepare for it whether we like it or not, in order to retire peacefully and financially secured. Although not all retirees have the capability to retire stress free from financial struggles, that’s why we are a given a lot of time to prepare for it, and by not missing opportunities to work for an income and investment for passive income as well, we can actually reach the retirement period without so much thinking if we can still survive this retirement age or we end up struggling again with money and finances.

Retiring much earlier than what the law may state on you country is possible, but it requires meticulous planning as this will not simply happen on its own, even if you were to earn a lot of money for a long time.

We could really be having our own choice when it comes on retiring from our own because if we do see that we are really that someone whose really that having that kind of sustainance on the moment that we do quit up our job or simply could be able to survive on the moment that you would really be retiring early then it would really be your choice and it would be understandable that you would really be retiring for good and would really be focusing into the current thing that you've been dealing. You wont really be needing to have a boss and woke up early and would be going into some traffic on daily routine or something like this.

Early retirement is possible, if we do have more income than the average person there, talking about investing in stocks or bonds and depending on the interest rate is also not a good thing because it sometimes changes, and stocks rise only based on M2 money supply, unless it is in blue chip stocks that have a better future and have never been disrupted by any economic issues, but enough I am very jaran, and also look at the amount of money we use as a means of seeing the benefits that might be obtained, it's not funny if 8% of $500.

I think the average person who can retire early is those who are good at trading, however, the science used in the trading world such as technical analysis and mental mastery is always the same from time to time, and the most important thing in this case is that we can continue to adapt to the times, so it is possible that we can make more money than any industry.

Its something that you should really be needing up to consider because there would really be no guarantees that you could really be able to retire or finish up it until on the age of 60 on which this is something that will be considered to be the retirement age or much more earlier depending on which country because there are places which does have that less age limit when it comes on getting retired. I do agree that trying to retire earlier than 60 years old makes sense, I am planning on retiring at my 40's for example, that doesn't mean I plan on retiring at 40 exactly, it could be very well 49, that's fine too, just not 50 years old.

Because I spent about 20 years of my life as a kid, and then spend a 30 year period working and basically using my entire life to just be able to afford living, and I just want the last 20 or so years to retiring and resting, but we do not know how long we will live. May I have some health issues tomorrow? Sure, which is why I want to work only until 50, since that means I may live for another day after that, or may live another 30, I rather retire early just in case and make sure I live a decent life after that a bit more.

While this salary thing may seem to be a good idea since there's high level of certainty in it, that might not be the best way for workers who battle with meagre resources as their salaries. Well, let’s not make it complicated, if some people chose to retire early, of course they can, but they cannot expect that their lives won’t be financially struggling if they don’t prepare much for it. Retiring off the back of bonds is an overdone idea.  In 1980 bond rates peaked at 20% I believe it was, USA had some debt problem and inflation and bonds were not popular hence high rates.  Volcker was a hard money FED chief

Ironic thing now is the debt is far worse, the whole bond idea is oversold.  When you say bond you are talking about paper dollars which can suffer badly.   Politics is not in a good way imo so I dont trust that whole 'investment'

I would not advise reliance on an overplayed game.  Back in 1980 era it was seen high risk but it was a bet that paid off and the historic graph shows bonds paid well.  Boomers living well is a known meme for a reason off the back of that turn around.

Now I would suggest retirement would come via management of accommodation like a part time landlord job etc.  They call it retirement but its just nicer then the usual rat race jobs.   You set your own hours etc.

Growing up and education took me like twenty years, and I might work for another thirty-five years. So, it is expected that I will retire at the age of fifty-five.

I am passionate about, and in some cases, most of them are not for profit making. I also need time to explore books and learn about many things. I desire to rear domestic animals and plant some crops. I just want to be free from this rat race and modern-day slavery. Life is too short to be wasted only on work.

But with the economic condition of some countries, people are scared of retirement. Retirement benefits can hardly feed a family for two years because of inflation. Before, now retirement benefits could sustain a family for up to ten years if it was well managed. But this is not the case today. It is common to see retirees still working actively to survive. Seeing elderly men engaging in energy-consuming jobs because of harsh economic conditions is always painful.

Regardless of these economic woes I still believe that there are still ways to retire early. I have considered a few steps on how to plan for early retirement. They are not new but I wanted to remind us.

-Budgeting: If you don't have a good financial plan you better consider having one. It helps you to know when to reduce or increase your income and expenditure. Recently we had to cut the cost of buying imported cereals and replacing them with cheaper locally produced ones. We had to start spending money on a keyboard teacher because the children needed to learn music. It is not a basic need but we have to make provision for it. Budgeting will help you spend within your means.

- Saving: It is very difficult to save money in this period of economic breakdown. What you earn is not even enough to cover the cost of your needs, so having extra is not just possible. You might not be able to save a huge amount monthly but just try and save a little. I was saving $10 monthly from my salary, and I continuously did it for about two years. You might say I just saved $240, but the truth is is at least I have a backup fund. So from that, you have little income, no matter how small, keep saving some.

-Alternative sources of income: In some countries, getting a job is a big problem, so you can hardly get more than one job. The economy is also affecting businesses negatively, many firms in my country have gone bankrupt. Going back to school to get a relevant qualification, which has a high tendency to give you a job with a higher pay, is good. Learning a new skill that can help you meet a need in your location is also fine. Starting a business with available funds can bring profits. The point I am making is that you should use any available opportunity you have for another income source. But this is not an excuse to overwork yourself; your total well-being is more important.

-Investment: If you are considering early retirement, then you should have a system that brings money even when you are not working. Some people have built that will give them money for as long as they live. I know of many people whose income from their farms can sustain them for like. Some people were able to own properties that they rented and make money. Some persons have shares, patents, or royalties in some profitable organization. People will always say the forum promotes Bitcoin but the currency is another good investment. One can add Bitcoin hodling to his retirement plan because it is profitable.

-Healthy Living: Many retirees spend their savings on medical bills. Sometimes, these illnesses are unpredictable, but we should also do our best to prevent them. We should eat healthy, avoid harmful practices that endanger our health, exercise, and rest. A healthy retiree greatly enjoys his retirement life because he is strong and spends less.

In summary, early retirement is a choice. The global economy is making it difficult to achieve it, but we can still try our best to plan toward enjoying it by saving, investing, and healthy living.

Statistically speaking, only a small portion of people living today will be able to retire early, with a lot of us being so drowned in debt we may not even be able to retire at all. To downplay the situation and assume that we can still retire with just the right mindset and saving up of money is just ridiculous and an outdated outlook on things, which would've worked 50 years ago but is certainly implausible now. What we need to have is an economic reform that works for the current generation and not the one who precedes them, cause as it stands today the only ones who will see benefit from all the struggles that we have is the fucking boomers who were the ones at fault of the current market situation anyway.

Of course, everything can still happen, but there is no certainty when it will happen, but one thing you need to remember, it will happen, no one knows how to make a profit from BTC, but if we learn how it goes up and down, we will get a little easier that is, read the increase, then from there continue to learn about it and enjoy the benefits.
