With is the minimum post require to earn a merit

So far and from my understanding no minimal and maximal post required to earn merits and if you post something that is helpful to community you would see merits coming like flood to your profile,as a matter of fact a single post can possibly earn you up to 100 merits depending on creativity and useful you information could be. The thing is most of the topic created by newbie are the topics already created but just that they always reform it make it looks like another post or I will say there is always a particular methods mostly used by some newbie to earn merits and since lots of people knows giving out merits to similar post could be very hard.

Also on going through your post history, you based mostly on you local board and on off topics board and judging sincerely, your post quality is really poor. I'll advice you take your time to read about the forum and forget about what ever the person who invited you to this forum told you about. And focus on learning for now. You earn merit when you create quality post mate, that's all.

Pardon me for this response but I have to seek clarification from you. First of all, you are addressing a newbie, maybe someone still very new to this entire concept. If I may ask, do you expect him to post like a pro? If you say his post quality is low, I want you to elaborate on how you expected him to post so we can rate him as a good poster.

One thing we have failed to realise in this forum is that newbies will always post like one and using your standard of post quality to judge them might be the reason many of them are resorting to seeking help from AI in order to impress people. As much as possible, we should try and remember  how difficult it was for us when we started. Blockchain technology is an entirely new concept to many people, so we should manage our expectations from people properly so that there could be continuity because many of them are running away siting that here is too harsh. Reading the rules and all the links you shared are not enough... most people learn through practice.

Well said Mate, same time the links he shared would be useful for OP, to guide him on how to make useful Post on the Forum. Remember we practice based on information we have and not vice versa.
This is not a matter of rating OP, but was just an opinion which OP can look into and sort for ways to improve wether newbie or not, experience would surely build OP, just as we all started out experiencing same challenge which we learnt and build from overtime.

Yes, I've seen one newbie get merited on his first post, and there are newbies with thousands of posts who haven't got a single merit because all these newbie posts are about bounty submission reports, which do not offer something useful to the community but to the project they promote.

So newbies who are active in discussion are likely to get merit then those who participated in bounty campaign.
So, if you concentrate on the discussion, continue doing so. There are threads where you can submit your best post to be merited.

There are some forum members who have more than 1000 activities but not a single merit. Because they have never participated in any post or discussion outside the bounty thread. As a result there is no possibility of getting merit. There are also some who don't actually know that there are more forums boards outside Bounty where a lot of discussion takes place.
But newbies who participate in various discussions can definitely earn merit.

Yes, there’s no minimum or maximum post needed in the forum in order to earn merits. Earning merits does not matter on the quantity of the post, but rather on the quality itself. If you are only able to make a single post and yet that post becomes very relevant and useful for majority of the members, in no time you will receive series of merits. That looks very easy to achieve but actually when you are not a good and quality poster, you will find it the hardest.

That is the part I like most on this community there is no partiality on Merritt reward mostly once it has to do with quality post, you don't need to know any body or beg anyone to give you Merritt as much as your work or post deserve merit people you don't know will award you merrit, all you need is to create quality post that is informative and full of lessons and problem solving as regards to people demands in the forum.

To receive Merritt is not base in number of post created or reply everything lies in quality another aspects it does not matter weather your newbie or member what matter is the quality of the post and who ever that found it informative irrespective of level can merrit you without sentiment of looking at your level as newbies.

Such users usually join forums only after they are told by someone that they can earn money from those forums, and they have been given directions about what they need to do to earn money, and they keep following what has been told. So if someone has been told that they need to participate in bounties if they want to earn money, they will stay in that section right from the beginning and will stay there for as long as they stay in the forum.

Users who join the forum randomly or because of their interest towards cryptocurrencies wouldn't have that sort of a nature, they will be seen surfing around the forum, reading and maybe making posts where they feel they can, and those are the kinds of people who grow in the long run.

You know sometimes people always look at the merits aspect without them thinking on how to help the community, when community is being educated then people tends to be attracted to for merits. However there are some dedicated thread worth for merits if he thinks his post aren't receiving accordingly then he can report them to those people who are willingly giving out merits to people.

The minimum post to earn merit is one post. You can make one post and earn several merits if the post is very useful and helpful. You can make hundreds of posts and no one will send merit to the posts because they are useless or of low quality.

Read what good posters are posting and start being like them. Post something useful and help.

Absolutely right, posting what actually attracts person and it gives meaning to others who are reading it, not by how many post will give us merit but how educative the post is.

That is why it's essential to read the rules governing this forum, so that we won't make a mistake or go against the rules and also it's okay if to more research and be sure of what we want to post before posting it out and also read it to be very sure of our words.

You don't have to make a lot of post to earn merit, only knew psit is enough to earn you a merit, it just has to caught the eye of a user that has some sendable merit and is willi on or happy with your post and decides to give it to you.

This is the second topic your making on merit, I guess you have to increase the quality of your post or find a board taht you are more knowledgeable about and share your insights there.

I believe different people have different way of viewing message and at same time they have different motive of viewing a particular post, there are people who view to criticism or belittle one's post, there are also people who view one's post with the intention to get the writer's point and there also people who view to correct you if there's a mistake etc those people who view in order to get the writer's point are the people that give merit the most if they have Smerit. This is why sometimes you will see a post someone earned a merit to you it doesn't make sense or worth it but someone who needs the information has taken it and award the writer merit however, I think there's a minimum or maximum that is required for someone to earn merit but rather pass good information.
